I'll begin with the negatives: - smoker sit out front of the rooms on the shared walkway and smoke. I've been coming here for years and it's not a ton of smokers but each floor will have one or two. - beds are soft and spongy. - the breakfast coupons for the attached restaurant are for a fixed menu and they won't let you substitute ANYTHING. Each meal gets a juice which literally comes in a shot glass...seriously. - sheets and towels have some small stains on some of them but the staff will bring you new ones if you call down. - any billing discrepancies have to be handled on the owners schedule (8-9am) and not yours. Good luck with that. - WiFi is absolutely garbage here. Random connectivity...good luck if you have an iOS device. The positives: - rooms are spacious with a small kitchenette separate living and sleeping areas. Bathroom are not crowded either. Family of 2 adults and 2-3 young kids would be comfortable. - this is located in Wildwood Crest away from the boardwalk and riff raff. At night the area is calm and quiet. The closer you get to the boards the louder it is at night. - the plan pricing is nice and most are good deals. I believe the plans to be fair pricing for the hotel and area. - this place is right on the beach and all of the rooms have a shared view of the beach, and some rooms have a private beach front view and balcony. - most of the same families will come back every year during the same week(s). This was the case with my family and one we met 20 years ago here. We've come back the same time with them each year and the kids have had friends to play with that they know. All in all, it's not a bad place. For the money I think it's a good place to stay and the location is great. Boards are maybe a 10 minute drive and there are plenty of places to eat. There are two very nice and cleaned daily Weber Genesis 3 burner grills on one of the balconies. I don't think you'll be disappointed staying here if you know what your getting up front. My negatives about this place aren't enough to make me seek out a new venue for our week long vacation. We come back every year and enjoy ourselves each time.

We had a great time here! The room was super clean and updated! Elevator was convenient. Parking lot was good. Air conditioner worked great. Beds were very comfortable. Cooking top and fridge were a great plus! Pool are was nice, a little small and the water was only upto 5ft deep. It was not heated as they claim on there website. Bbq grills were great! Access to beach was so close and convenient. At check in the older woman was super friendly and helpful answered all questions. Would def stay here again!!!

Feels like it's right out of Paris!

I think I was about 7 years old when I first stayed at the Beau Rivage with my parents, brother, and grandparents. That was in 1979. Things haven't changed much at the good 'ole Beau Rivage since then, though the few changes have been highly functional. The pool was long ago made over and looks very nice. (It's still very small.) But sadly, the old game room with the ping pong table is gone. Now it just serves as a place for families to dine away from the elements when sitting at the pool. (They did put a bathroom in, though, which is a nice touch so you don't have to run back to your room each time to go pee.) My family all stayed at this motel, summer after summer, for many, many years. My grandparents died in 1984, but the rest of the family still comes to Wildwood, and now we bring our family and friends. Until this past Saturday, my last time staying at the Beau Rivage was summer of 1990, a week before I shipped off to college. Since then we have always rented condos at Seapointe, Ocean Towers, or Coastal Colors. (It's nice to have all that extra space.) This past week, however, we wanted to start our vacation a day early. Our condo at Seapointe Village would not be ready until Sunday, so for shits and giggles I gave the old crew of the Beau Rivage a call and managed to snag one of only two rooms available for a one-night rental. Coincidentally, it was the same one bedroom efficiency we used to rent in the 80s. It would be nostalgic, if nothing else, me now taking my kids to the same place my parents would take my brother and I. The rooms are still very simple, but very clean. In Wildwood, a clean hotel can be hard to find. But I'm happy to report that the Beau Rivage is as clean as I remember it. Bathrooms have long ago been renovated, and all the furniture felt fairly up to date. My only disappointment was the air conditioning. I can remember the air conditioning back in the day being able to convert the room into a meat locker. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work like that anymore. You can still cool the room, but it won't attract the polar bears and penguins like it did in the 80s. (The A/C did work, just to be clear.) As for the clientele, the Beau Rivage still seems to attract normal families. No real sketchy element like you find at a lot of other motels in the area. That's always a plus. I always tell people, no matter how much or how little money you make, there's something for everyone in Wildwood. If you want to take a family vacation down this way and stay in a clean, decently-priced room with beautiful ocean views, Beau Rivage will easily fit the bill.

I had an okay stay there. Comfortable for the most part. The rooms are really nice and it's right on the beach! There were some unfortunate looking stains on the bedsheets and towels which was kind of a turn off. The Wifi didn't work for me. The staff kept telling me it's because I have an Apple phone but I had brought my blu-ray player that connects through wifi and that wasn't connecting either. But other than those two things it wasn't bad! The room's kitchen was fully equipped which was nice. Also the cafe downstairs was really good!

When going to the boardwalk we took the trolley right from the hotel which was convenient and cheaper then driving because parking at the boardwalk was pricey.

I'd have to say, I truly have no complaints about this hotel…read more Upon arrival Starlux was easy to find due to its eccentric design and decor. I was happy to find that the starlux has their own parking lot with free and adequate parking. Check in was simple and straightforward. The lady at the front let us know that everything we see out was free to use. Beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, bikes, kids helmets and complimentary tea and coffee. I only wish we had known this earlier because it would of saved us packing alot of things! We had room 304. To get to the floor there was an elevator and stairs inside as well as an outdoor circular stair case. The room itself was small. It consisted of two queen beds, a bathroom, dresser, mini fridge, microwave and desk. The whole front of the room was a glass window that does not open, overlooking the street, but not the water. The only window in the whole room was in the bathroom. They have an ac unit, but no ceiling fans. The room itself got pretty stuffy due to poor air circulation. I would suggest bringing a small fan. The bathroom was stocked with lots of towels, neutrogena soap and lotions as well as shampoo and conditioner. Everything was suprising clean. The oddest thing was the small wall that jutted out a few inches from the toilet, making it a tight squeeze. The hotel also has a decent sized pool with a hot tub. We did not use them but we had a nice view of them from our balcony. They also have a small game room and laundry facilities. All in all, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wildwood.

We booked a "cottage" which was not a one story stand alone structure as we thought a "cottage" is to be. We were given a room on the second floor requiring going up and down a lot of steps. My husband and I are in our sixties and he has great difficulty with steps. Also we were surprised to have no freezer in the refrigerator, no table nor chair. I had to go to the main hotel 2nd floor to get ice. Also there was no simple coffee maker which normally seems standard especially if breakfast isn't served until 8:00 a.m. I told 2 receptionists that perhaps "cottage" should be removed from their website and replaced with a more accurate description. Outside photos of this building might help too to prevent older people with mobility issues from booking in the "cottage". Both receptionists were kind and understanding. One offered to move us to the first floor of the "cottage " the next day, but my husband didn't want to leave his balcony view by then because the room was so small.

Needing only one night I tried to book something we could walk to dining. Arrived about 1:30 to see if we could check in early, we could. The front desk lady was funny and personable. She was efficient with check in/checkout rules, hotel features. All rooms are keyless. Upon entering the room has been fully updated, bright, clean but on the small side. The pool busy but the noise couldn't be heard in our room. Kitchenette had a stainless steel fridge and a four burner gas stove. Everything you need to prepare a meal. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Air conditioner worked a little to well in our room, it was freezing. Two pool showers, one pubic pool restroom, small designated smoking area, ice machine that actually works. WI-FI signal strong with no issues. Start of the boardwalk across the street. This motel was awesome and I actually think I like it better than our normal place. Two things I'd change. The parking. Finding a spot to fit our small SUV was challenging, only three available with two having poles making them even smaller than the other. The walk to the beach.

I had booked a spot for Corvettes on the Boardwalk in Ocean City and needed a place to crash. But where? I found Summer Nites and from the pictures it looked like a beautiful seaside mansion. Sold! We arrived on Saturday night for a two night stay. Sheila greeted us and proudly showed us her home. The theme throughout the home is the fabulous 50's. We're shown into the kitchen and it is a beautiful recreation of a 50's style diner. Each booth has a few quarters to play the authentic jukebox loaded with, yep! 50s and 60s style records. I had that bad boy crankin' the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. There is a working Coke machine (with dimes in a can) grab yourself a bottle anytime! There are two working hot tubs on the property and the front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax. In the garage, Sheilas husband has his 57 Chevy waiting to cruise. Sheila & Rick are car people too?? Very very cool. Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. To start, a large fruit cup and freshly baked muffins were waiting for us. I poured myself a coffee as I was served a delicious homemade waffle and sausage. This has to be the best Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed at. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe room. Lots of Pink! When I walked into the room, I didn't know what to expect. My wife filled up the Jacuzzi and used the bath bomb in the water. After a 10 minute soak, I can understand why JFK kept Marilyn as his side piece. We checked out on Monday, we were the only guests in the B&B. Sheila sat with us and we talked about the future events at Summer Nites. Sheila, I can honestly say we had a great time and cannot wait to return next year.

Visit Date: July 28, 2025 into July 29, 2025…read more My boyfriend's family was staying here for their Summer Vacation. My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I would stay here again if I were given a chance.

Our room was clean, clean linens and towels. We brought our own pillows and blankets. If you can't figure that out from the reading the other reviews then go home. Our room had 2 double beds very firm mattresses so if that's a problem bring a pad. I've read enough reviews to know what I'm getting and don't act so surprised. We parked in a single spot and they do have additional parking up the street. So stop whining about the parking. Simone the manager was very nice and we chatted for a while. COVID decimated this town and it these places are trying to get back to making a profit. So tip your housekeepers. There are 2 of them so leave 10 a night. If You're from Jersey then you tip hard. If you're cheap then shame on you. You stay here because it's convenient, clean and you like being around people. The partiers, crowds and noise are all part of it's charm. You don't come here to get rest, calm and solitude. If you want that then you're in the wrong state. If you grew up in Nj like I did we'll share but we won't shed a tear if you leave unhappy. We love this place. The inconveniences are all easily overcome. We book early in the year so we get great prices $141 a night. $500 less than if we booked now in July ($635 vs close to $1300 w/taxes & fees) for the same 4 nights Mon-Fri. I've read the reviews on all the major sites for the place. Most seem to be from those who are unable to manage their own expectations. They see problems I see it opportunities. We will be back again in the fall and again next summer. We really love it here, and you can too if you choose too.
