The ambiance is super chill, there are some tables for 2 for an intimate vibe or some couches for bigger party. Since they will be playing the world cup games we will definitely go back there

I'm extremely impressed by this lounge. This is the cleanest establishment I've ever experienced in my life. I don't see a speck of dirt from the floor to the couch to the roof. The hookah is a 10/10. Easily the smoothest hookah ive ever had. Their hookah maker should be very proud of themselves. The decor is very well thought out. The distancing between tables are perfectly placed and their couches are soooooo comfortable. Their music choice is a mix between popular Arab songs and trendy American music. I recommend this lounge over every night life in the valley. You best come here with your friends if you want to have a great time.

The Instagram advertisement does not match reality at all. The Margarita is the worst I've ever had in my life. The furniture looks like it's 100 years old. No atmosphere whatsoever. The hookah is good. I think even in remote villages now, they make better hookah lounges than this one. We will not return. read more

I came here a few weeks ago. It's been a while since I had gone to a hookah spot. It was a busy Friday, not too packed. The ambiance was good. They were playing good music. The servers were really nice and attentive. We had ordered the Medusa flavor shisha. It was so smooth and the flavor is good. They have drinks and food there as well. Cool part is that the menus light up. I have been coming here for the past 3 weeks now and this is definitely the spot to go to just chill. read more

To sum it up, this place is "ridiculously overpriced." Let's start off with the fact that this establishment is located in the not-so-prestigious and lucrative area of North Hollywood. Moving right along, the price of the hookah is ridiculously expensive at $45. To make matters worse, they charge four dollars for water when other hookah lounges within a 10-mile radius offer complementary tapwater. They require you to have a minimum of one drink per person. There's no need to charge clients money for water whenever they are already spending $45 on Hookah, unless they want bottled water. Additionally, the music can get extremely loud and unbearable, to the point where you just want to grab the check and leave because of the unreasonably loud and unenjoyable environment. This is a hookah lounge, not a nightclub. You are on the verge of ear explosion due to the extremely loud volume of the music. The owner of the establishment should definitely inform the DJ that the music is unbearably loud and that they should probably reduce the noise to optimal levels so that people can feel like they are in a lounge and can come and actually enjoy smoking a bowl rather than resorting to leaving early because of their ears ringing from the loud and excessive decibels from the music being played. The food, on the other hand, is pretty good, not to lie, especially the entrées. Last but not least, they charge an 18% gratuity fee on every bill that they distribute to their patrons. I am the type of person who believes that if you treat me well, I will treat you better, and I will mostly tip a reasonable amount, if not more than 18% or even 20%, if you provide me with amazing and outstanding customer service. I don't believe that customers should be burdened by having to automatically pay 18% upfront for service that they may not be happy with. Another recommendation would be for the packers to be able to pack in a way where patrons can enjoy a session for at least 2 hours because sometimes it feels like the shisha is burnt out with the first 35-40 minutes. Edit: After reading the owners distasteful comments, I can definitely conclude that the owner does not want returning customers paying for overpriced hookah. He was disrespectful in his comments when instead he could have contacted me directly, he made the situation for my wife and I very awkward! On top of that he's up charging his own water in the comments. Sad! Do not come here go visit Sky Hookah Lounge, where you get to experience the true classiness of North Hollywood. Also, if you're bragging that much about your tap water, might as well offer it to your patrons rather than only offering/ bringing out "bottled water" without making any mentions or giving your consumer the ability to choose tap water instead of bottled water. read more

Best hookah in all of LA hands down. In my 10+ years of professional hookah smoking, not a single place serves anything even close to what we get here. The owner Vic, is the most welcoming and friendly man who truly cares about the satisfaction of his customers. He works as much as every other one of his employees if not more. Arthur, who packs the bowls is the best at what he does. Funny and charismatic dude who, after serving the hookah, won't leave your sight until you give a feedback and confirm whether it's something you like or want it replaced. So I came across this place with my fiancée while waiting for my best friend and her man to go to the ax throwing place down the street. I don't smoke hookah often and I didn't this time but if I did, this place would be one I'd go to. The vibe and music was bomb, the food and drinks were delicious, the illuminated menus are such an elegant touch. I had the Long Island ice tea and it was so good! My fiancée did a coke and Hennessy and he liked it. I would definitely recommend this place to try if you're in the area. read more

WORST FRIKIN LOUNGE EVER. I do not recommend this place at all. Customer service was horrible. We go sit down 30 min before closing , no one even tried to come serve us anything. We had to yell "excuse me" for 2 min for someone to come to our table. He told us it's not worth putting coals for 30min and charging you guys. But that shouldn't matter because what if we only wanted to smoke for that long He didn't even offer us any water at least if he didn't feel like packing 30 min before closing lol. Even when you walk in no one is there and i wonder why. Most disrespectful worker ever. Never going back again. If i could give 0 stars i would. read more

I am super picky with my hookah but la vie's hookah is genuinely the best I've ever smoked. They have every flavor and every brand you can think of. Came here and it was empty, which is fine with me. My plain mint Hookah came out fast but when I smoked it, it wasn't mint. I know I I smoke this brand of mint often. Told the guy and he puffed it for a while and said it was okay...smoked it and it still had no mint. He gave zero F's. Idc about the price, the flavor wasn't right and the customer service was horrible for me to be the only patron here. $21 for a hookah that was not what I wanted. Not coming back. read more

Just got home from this lounge. Awesome spot! My friends and I decided to check it out and we've been coming back ever since. The hookah is exquisite and the iced coffee is a must. Perfect combination by the way. The customer service is unmatched, but the smaller chairs are uncomfortable for a big guy such as myself. The couches are great, though. It's a new place so give it a try, but for a hookah lounge it exceeds the quality and service of most hookah lounges. Amazing lounge! As someone that has a lounge I felt right at home. (I am very picky when it comes to my hookah) The customer service is outstanding, the employees are very welcoming. If you are in the area want to enjoy a good tangiers bowl this is the place to go. They have a wide selection of shisha including al fahker, starbuzz, fumari, cloud 9 and alchemist my personal favorite. My negatives for this place was they didn't tell us there was an entrance fee of $10/person and they over charged our group. Everyone paid the entrance fee then they charged the last person to pay a service fee of $10/person and double charged our hookahs. We weren't aware of this until later when my friend came to me and said she paid for my hookah. I let her know no me and our friend paid for ours at the same time and showed her the transaction. It's an unfortunate situation because it was a great time but seeing how they did that was not ok.
