To sum it up, this place is "ridiculously overpriced." Let's start off with the fact that this establishment is located in the not-so-prestigious and lucrative area of North Hollywood. Moving right along, the price of the hookah is ridiculously expensive at $45. To make matters worse, they charge four dollars for water when other hookah lounges within a 10-mile radius offer complementary tapwater. They require you to have a minimum of one drink per person. There's no need to charge clients money for water whenever they are already spending $45 on Hookah, unless they want bottled water. Additionally, the music can get extremely loud and unbearable, to the point where you just want to grab the check and leave because of the unreasonably loud and unenjoyable environment. This is a hookah lounge, not a nightclub. You are on the verge of ear explosion due to the extremely loud volume of the music. The owner of the establishment should definitely inform the DJ that the music is unbearably loud and that they should probably reduce the noise to optimal levels so that people can feel like they are in a lounge and can come and actually enjoy smoking a bowl rather than resorting to leaving early because of their ears ringing from the loud and excessive decibels from the music being played. The food, on the other hand, is pretty good, not to lie, especially the entrées. Last but not least, they charge an 18% gratuity fee on every bill that they distribute to their patrons. I am the type of person who believes that if you treat me well, I will treat you better, and I will mostly tip a reasonable amount, if not more than 18% or even 20%, if you provide me with amazing and outstanding customer service. I don't believe that customers should be burdened by having to automatically pay 18% upfront for service that they may not be happy with. Another recommendation would be for the packers to be able to pack in a way where patrons can enjoy a session for at least 2 hours because sometimes it feels like the shisha is burnt out with the first 35-40 minutes. Edit: After reading the owners distasteful comments, I can definitely conclude that the owner does not want returning customers paying for overpriced hookah. He was disrespectful in his comments when instead he could have contacted me directly, he made the situation for my wife and I very awkward! On top of that he's up charging his own water in the comments. Sad! Do not come here go visit Sky Hookah Lounge, where you get to experience the true classiness of North Hollywood. Also, if you're bragging that much about your tap water, might as well offer it to your patrons rather than only offering/ bringing out "bottled water" without making any mentions or giving your consumer the ability to choose tap water instead of bottled water. read more

WORST FRIKIN LOUNGE EVER. I do not recommend this place at all. Customer service was horrible. We go sit down 30 min before closing , no one even tried to come serve us anything. We had to yell "excuse me" for 2 min for someone to come to our table. He told us it's not worth putting coals for 30min and charging you guys. But that shouldn't matter because what if we only wanted to smoke for that long He didn't even offer us any water at least if he didn't feel like packing 30 min before closing lol.
