I love coming here only to see Tom, he is very detail oriented and good at his job. My nails can last up to 2-3 weeks with his service! That's only why I would give it 4 stars, everyone else is pretty good too. But the receptionist, she has no manners, lacks customer service and is sloppy at her job. Boca has great clientele, if I was her I would treat everybody with respect and great customer service. First time walking in, and every few times after, she always has an attitude. I have not been to this nail salon in quite some time. I decided to give it one more try and I will never do that again. My tech was the most unfriendly person I have ever met. She was did a horrible job on my cuticles and filing my nails. Awful hand massage and then when she polished my nails, she missed the ends and sides of my nails and left polish and top coat all over my fingers. I did not ask her to fix my nails because all I wanted to do was get away from this woman. Never again. read more

This place is clean and affordable. I've been here maybe 4 times. I was really happy with the next gen manicure I got, but I also didn't have much to compare it to. However, I did feel like my nails broke very easily. I had to go back a few times to get them fixed. I liked the gel manicure I got here, and it actually lasted longer than their next gen. Worst experience ever. My daughter and I have been coming here for the past few months and have had excellent service. Recently, we went to get our eyebrows waxed and had the worst experience ever! The woman got a ton of wax in my daughter's hair and then pulled out a pair of scissors to CUT her hair off. She had absolutely NO idea how to use the wax and my daughter left with small dots of blood on her left eyebrow. She also did not speak enough English to understand what I was explaining to her and instead just laughed.A week later it is still healing. We both left with wax on our eyebrow because I was afraid to have them fix it. They have new staff now who clearly have no skill and no concept of waxing or the language for that matter! I have been going to this salon on and off for years. This last visit there was beyond disappointing. The nail tech accidentally smudged my toes when putting on my sandals. He realized the mistake and then poured acetone on a cotton ball to remove the polish, and in the process spilled nail polish remover on my sandals. I should have left at that point. Then I got my mani done. I could have done a better job myself. He polished my nails, along with my cuticles and somehow got some nail polish on the back of my fingers, and then smudged a nail. When I informed him of this, he finally fixed it, and all I got from him was a 'sorry.' I spoke to the staff there. I still paid full price and they took my name and number to relay to their manager. The staff's recommendation was to not use him again. Well, I guess that is obvious. It sucks to have such a negative experience, especially when you are getting a mani/pedi during your 'me time.' The manager finally called me back the following day. She only offered to repair the messed up nails. I won't be returning back to this business. read more

The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I got a regular pedicure and the lady did a good job cleaning and painting. However, I got a gel manicure and it was ok. Not very happy with it but I don't think they know how to do gels or acrylics. Prices are reasonable. read more

From the moment my friend and I walked in we felt so uncomfortable. This place is creepy. The owner or manager who greeted you was not friendly and acted like she was doing you a favor rather than being appreciated that you were a patron. Very sad how she acts towards her employees. Had an appointment and still had to wait 20 minutes. Don't give people appointments and then make them wait !The place was empty except for a few customers. Mani/pedi was terrible. I was going to this place for some time and I noticed that it got filthier and filthier... everything is covered with dust, especially work places. I was trying hard to understand Tina's English, but communication is really difficult. Bad mood often. If you are is such a close customer service, you HAVE TO leave all the bad mood for later. I'm in the customer service as well, no excuse for bad mood at work. The service was ok on the beginning, but it kind of went down. They need to clean up the place, need to put some effort for some clean and neat clothes and another thing... don't speak over the room in your original language laughing about something... it gives impression that you laugh about the customer. Worst experience getting and manicure and pedicure, cuticles looked worse than when I went in and polish was all over my toes and fingers and nails were not straight. The lady Lisa doing my nails also cut my thumb and continued on like nothing happened. The lady working the front desk had horrible customer service, would not recommend going here. While I did enjoy the massaging chair and the fact that I did not have to wait, I was very disappointed in my mani/pedi. The worker barely spent any time on my heels. A star is already too much for this place, That's how bad my service was. I got greeted with an attitude, The nail lady (short black hair, small woman) was extremely rude to my 6 year old daughter just because she came to tell me something, and made it so obvious she was saying something about her in her language to another nail tech. She got upset because I didn't like the way the color looked on my toes and was asking for a different color, just so I won't piss her off even more I ended up staying with a color I did not like. I just moved to the area and made an appointment to do my nails. This was the worst experience I ever had. This must be the worst salon in Boca. I questioned a price and the manager became very nasty and told me to shut up and not to question the prices. The manager speaks to women in a very degrading and rude manor. They did not do a good job on my nails they were cut way too short. The nail polish looked like five year all kid did it not professional at all. Horrible! I went here because I forgot to make an appointment at my usual nail salon and they were booked solid all day on a Friday. Easily the worst mani/pedi I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, the staff is very friendly, they just don't do a good job. Half of my nails aren't painted completely (which I didn't notice until I left because I was in a hurry), some are smudged and the only way the nail tech offered to fix them was by adding extra top coat, so you can still see the smudge under the top coat and the nail looks chunky. They barely give you any sort of massage, even though they slather on cream, so you're stuck with some greasy mess on your legs that provided you no benefit. I was so uncomfortable with the cream on there that I had to shower when I got home. Everyone around me was complaining about something. For instance, the gentleman next to me had one of his cuticles get cut badly and he was bleeding pretty extensively, so he told the nail tech he didn't want her to cut the cuticles and she kept cutting them anyway. On the plus side, the cost of he mani/pedi was a lot cheaper than most places, and the staff is very friendly and patient when you say that you're unhappy with something. read more

This is the most unprofessional salon I have ever encountered. My friend has been coming here for years. I decided to try it. The owner happened to be on vacation & I guess the employees thought throwing acceptable work ethic out the window is ok. I arrived & was seated, waited 15 minutes while my nail tech was called 3 times to come back inside. In the middle of my nex gen manicure, the receptionist walked over for me to pay. Right now??? In the middle of getting my nails done??? The tech stopped & waited. Ok, I've never paid IN THE MIDDLE, but fine. I asked how much, tech said $35, I gave her $40, then the tech said, oh, it's $40. Really?? In a minute the price went up $5? My friend pays $35. Tech said my nails were long. That's just wrong. I was the only client there, it was 6:45pm, the others were cleaning. One tech was sweeping & came over to sweep right under the station I was still seated at, nails not done yet. My tech had to stretch out her chair, so the broom came between her & me. Absolutely ridiculous. I wasn't asked to wash my hands, my finished nails are rough & the color on the tips is a lot lighter than the rest of the nail. Like I said the owner was away, & the techs took advantage. I'm disappointed & cannot believe how unprofessional they are. So now I'm posting this review. If you go there, make sure the owner is in town. And don't schedule with Sandy. I already scheduled an appt with my regular salon, Red Nails, I have been going there for years, they are amazing & I will never cheat on them again! read more

Just moved to Boca about two months ago and have been going to this nail salon every two weeks to get a fill in on my acrylic nails. Last week I went and decided to try nextgen, the owner Sam did them. I loved the way that they looked but they were expensive $45 for the nails plus $12 for the tip. He told me to come back if they got messed up before the two weeks was up. Well I went back today (6 days later) and he told me that he would not fix them. Okay you I drove 15 minutes to go to this salon when there are many more closer to where I live and I was told that he would not do anything about it... Sam proved to me that he doesn't care about having loyal returning customers. What horrible horrible customer service he had. Don't tell your customers to come back if there is an issue and then not be willing to fix it. Especially getting a $45 manicure to not even last a week. I will not recommend this place to anyone and I work at a resort that has a large influx of people always asking for recommendations about where to go and get a manicure. I will not ever recommend or send business your way again. read more

I have been going to this salon for a few years on and off and have seen the changes. Recently, my daughter went there to get her nails done for the prom. She called me crying and when I saw the sloppy job they did on such an important occasion I understood. She had no time for a redo and when we returned to show them what was obviously very sub-standard work they refused to give her a refund unless they were allowed to remove the polish first. We explained that this was her prom night and she had no time to sit and have it redone but they were unsympathetic and rude. $16 would not have meant anything to them but they caused her so much stress on such a momentous day that I will never go back there again. They obviously do not care about their clientele. They treated her like she didn't matter because she was young and shy and they took advantage of her naivete and that is wrong. The nail tech obviously did not know how to do a french manicure and there was polish all over her fingers. With all of the nail salons in Boca it isn't hard to move on to a more professional one. I suggest you do the same lest you end up with the same nail tech my daughter had. What do they care? read more
