The minute I walked into La Vie I felt welcome and that I had finally found what I was looking for in a nail studio. The staff is very friendly and does their best to ensure your visit is personalized and comfortable. I also love that they sterilize all of their equipment and that they are CLEAN; that is extremely hard to find in a lot of salons. Very happy to see that! I just finished having an herbal pedicure with Okun. This place takes their time making sure that you have a great experience from beginning to end. They put care into the entire process. The ginger pedi was so relaxing and my skin feels amazing. I would highly recommend this place. The entire staff is extremely kind. They took me in 15 minutes after they were supposed to be closed and they still DID NOT rush through my pedi (like most places do). I will be returning for sure. Lovely place and my technician was very nice. I really like the manicure I got, my only complaint is that my hands felt pretty dry afterward. The fact that they are open on a Sunday is a major plus. This was the best dip polish I've had done to date. And it was only $40. I'm picky too! Kim was kind, not rushed, and she did a FULL manicure (cuticles etc) with the dip which is not generally done. I am highly impressed. I will drive 40 minutes to have my nails done here. read more

Found this wonderful salon one late night after work. It was a gem! Upon entering the door you are captivated by the unique atmosphere and warm spirits. The salon has a number of stations fully equipt with ultra violet lamps for no chip applications. The no chip sample colors are conveniently located as you walk in the door. No searching all over the salon for the limitless offering. My tech was very meticulous in how she carefull completed my no chip Mani and Pedi. I found their price points very responsible. read more

I've been here twice and both times I was able to schedule my appointments very conveniently, either online or sending an email with a very quick response (even though it was late in the evening-very impressive!). The first time I did a dipping manicure and second time was no-chip. Both manicures lasted for weeks. If it wasn't for my manicure growing out, I could have kept it for at least a month. The service is good (no chit-chat amongst the employees in a foreign language), and you're able to pay through an ipad, very easy and check off the percentage of tip you want to leave. I scheduled an appointment to get my nails done, and it was imperative that I got them done. I had an event later that evening. I scheduled an appointment online and called to confirm. The lady on the phone said my appointment was confirmed. I then walked in at my scheduled time, to then be told that they scheduled over my appointment. After explaining that I confirmed over the phone and made sure that I had my appointment, they continued to tell me that I did not confirm it. They then said they couldn't do anything about it and sat and stared at me. I then left and had to find an available appointment in ten minutes. Awful service and rude. I have been going to La Vie Nails for a year now and I would not go anywhere else. The salon itself is comfortable and relaxing and the nail technicians and friendly and do a fantastic job. I really like that they play television shows while you get your manicure done. I don't get a chance to watch much reality TV and it's a nice relaxing distraction. Also, they have a fantastic loyalty program- after you spend $150, you get a free manicure or $350 it's a free pedicure. If you come here regularly it's a great deal. So amazing! I was visiting a friend in Glenview and was looking for place nearby to get a mani/pedi. I stumbled across La Vie Nails on Yelp and sent a request for an appt (at 10pm at night). I heard back right away and they scheduled me for exactly when I needed. I arrived and they immediately requested I use hand sanitizer and they asked permission to take my temperature with a forehead scanner and requested I fill out a form attesting to not having traveled, or that I was feeling symptoms, etc. I was impressed by their preparedness and safety. I was shown their large selection of nail polishes to choose from. I waited a couple minutes to be taken back for my pedicure. I booked a fancy collagen pedicure as I hadn't had anything done since before the stay at home order in march. It was WONDERFUL! So relaxing. I received a much needed foot and leg massage. I swear I almost fell asleep! I highly recommend. Too bad I live too far away to return. read more

This place is the absolute best place I've found to get a mani/pedi. Their work is a step above - they put a top coat between color coats on a mani, which helps it last longer than most manis. They have a guarantee on their pedis (2 weeks I think) and their no chip manicure (10 days). But their work is so good that I've never had to take advantage of the guarantee. The other thing they do that is above and beyond is that they give you a sheet to fill it beforehand to choose the scent of lotion and scrub they use for you. Now, let's talk about price. They are extremely reasonable. $40 for a mani/pedi and $36 if you go early in the week. They also have a points system that you can sign up for and they send frequent coupons.
