We went there for lunch on SUNDAY. I love Peruvian food and was honestly very disappointed the meat quality. The service was great and the place was a nice little hole in the wall place. Honestly if they just updated the food quality this would be a great little hole in the wall Peruvian place. It is priced fair for normal Peruvian food. Your looking about $15-$20 a meal. Currently I would not recommend this place. If they got some new cooks and changed the food it would change the whole game for them.

Great option for lunch for anyone in the area! The 1/4 chicken with fries and a salad was delicious. The chicken is very tender with explosive flavors. The green spicey sauce made in house compliments well with the chicken. Great customer service and food came out prompt. Will definitely come back!

Perfect Bistec a la Pobre. Can't recommend enough. You need to know Spanish. The wait staff and cooks are authentic and you won't find a place like this in a 30 minute radius. They also offer a generous military discount of anywhere between 8% and 15%.

The worst service ever ... they don't have prices to follow looks that they only follow what ever they need to charge at the moment . No air conditioner ..... I ask the waitress about the AC and she respond : "WELL THE OWNERS DONT CARE ABOUT IT " I feel bad for her ...

Extremely high prices and portions very small. Only one server and take too long for a busy lunch during the week

Food was good savory, and rich. Service was good the owners really make you feel at home since it's a small place.

The only reason for the minus one star is because the waitress doesn't know English and know one here is there to help , at least the times I go.

Due to social distancing, I was sending friends and family Thanksgiving dinner via UberEats. I have an uncle who lives in the delivery area of this restaurant so I selected them. I used the (future delivery) option when I started putting together the orders over the weekend. Today I called this restaurant to confirm the delivery and give them my uncle's phone so they could notify him when they were close. The waitress who picked up the phone seemed dismissive, and not five minutes from hanging up I get a message from UberEats that the order had been cancelled. It left a really bad and unprofessional taste in my mouth.

The restaurant food quality has gone to a 10! Portions are ridiculous huge! I ordered their Arroz Imperial and let me tell you there is enough for a family on this plate! Needless to say it was delicious. Can't forget the most important thing in a cuban restaurant THE CUBAN TOAST! Straight fire! Don't know if it was because i expected them yesterday in casavana and they stop giving them but these were even better! Stop by and check out the restaurant. New name: ISABELLA's Latin Cafe

I ended up ordering the jonronera, which is filled with shredded beef, shredded chicken, ham and cheese, plantains and black beans. Since this empanada is big, I shared it with my friend and split it in half. However, by doing this I didn't get to try some of the stuff in the empanada such as the plantain and shredded beef since that was in my friends half of the empanada. We both felt that rather than having been layered, it should have all been mixed together so that people could have a little bit of everything when splitting. Aside from that though, it was really good. I also have one of their juiced and that was refreshing! The service was good, we had gone there on a busy day apparently because it took 30 minutes to get the coffee my friend ordered. There is enough seats, but it can get a bit crowded in the place. Overall my experience was pleasant and really enjoyed the empana

On the outside it's a little unassuming even though the plaza itself is nice, but the decor inside was elegant. Our server was really friendly. Unfortunately, she di forget to bring into our appetizer. But we even forgot until after we were eating dinner so we didn't say anything (and it turns out it wasn't on the check either). We went at around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and there were only a few other tables, it they're open until 3am so we assume it is more of a late night spot. We both thought the food was incredible though. I had salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and cilantro rice. I ordered vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, and broccolini) which were also surprisingly tasty. My husband had the mofongo. It was just different from the typical Puerto Rican mofongo in that didn't come with sauce other than some garlic sauce, but the taste was still great. He also liked the chicken that came with it. We will def be returning here in the future!
