The main downside is that they are expensive, typically in the L48 stores like Uwajimaya and Hmart are cheaper than Safeway/QFC but that is simply not the case here. The store is relatively clean and well lit, there is no funky odor which is greatly appreciated. The cashier is always quick, but that's the extent of the service I have received at the store. I will keep coming back when I need to find a special ingredient to keep exploring the culinary world.

The person who referred to the hot bar the ambiance is perfect has clearly never been here- there IS NOT A PLACE to consume on site. There is a hot bar at the back of the market- it is very much marketing to their community. There was a lot of fish and root based selections. Their prices were ok. The meat was gristley, fatty, bony, and gamey. The sauces and garnishes it came with were very good. Lamb is one of my favorite meats. The meat and veg inside is moist and flavorful, and the outside is nice and crispy. The mandasi was very tasty when paired with the sauces they include with your meal. The chicken and pasta was hearty and flavorful, and they do not skimp on the portions- I had lunch for 3 days afterward and it only got better as the noodles were able to soak up more and more of the flavors.
