Service is always friendly and helpful. My family loves their tamales and my kids especially love their selection of snacks and drinks. Fresh pan dulce, the aroma fills the air. This store is silvery clean and organized. Highly recommend this place!

What a treat! Growing up in South Texas/Rio Grande Valley, this place was such a great find! From the candy selection, to the fresh, homemade tamales, tacos, and empanadas - I felt like I was right back in one of the bodegas on the west side of San Antonio.

Mexico De Lindo is a small Mexican store at 1201West Tudor . It's between Minnesota and Artic . It's a small store but their inventory is huge . I guarantee if you are cooking a Mexican meal and need a special ingredient or if you are just looking for something you found while visiting Mexico they will have it . Now let me tell you about the newest and best thing about Mexico De Lindo ... they have their own in house bakery and the owner( baker ) was one of the top bakers at LAroma Bakery in town for many years . He learned how to bake growing up in Mexico , when as a small boy ,he helped out at a bakery in his neighborhood . He was such a good worker and so passionate about baking that the owner took him under his wings and taught him everything he knew I've posted several pictures of their baked delights . My favorite Guayaba Con Queso pastries ( guava with cheese were heavenly . They were so good and so affordable ! I plan on taking them to my book club this month ! They also have conchas and orejos . You will have to stop in and try all of these .

Went in for some guava and cheese pastry. Not what I was used to as the bread was soft, sweet, buttery and crumbly almost like a sugar cookie. I very much prefer a puff pastry, but nonetheless it was still good. Saw a sign for carne asada tacos. I really eating at mom and pop shops and at hole on the walls so I ordered a couple tacos. The crane asada is well seasoned and super fresh (I went in early noon). The tortilla was toasted perfectly and was topped with guacamole salsa. I think if they had a salsa verde or salsa rojo, it would've been even better. Overall, I really enjoyed the freshness of the carne asada and appreciate the quality of the taco altogether.

Man lately I just been giving 5 out of 5 and part of me feels like I'm being 2 damn NICE lol. Nah man this place deserves it bro. Reminds me of a REAL BODEGA no not that phony "la bodega/bodega" place in Anchorage that sells craft beer lmfao. Listen craft beer is cool but when you call it BODEGA nah G. Change the name. Mexico Lindo gives off the same exact vibe of when you walking down the street somewhere in the Bronx in NYC and you want some snacks. Same vibe man. They got hella snacks, spanish soda and EVEN fresh baked Mexican bread bro. Yes son in Alaska. Location is far tho near airport BUT if in the area check it out for sure.

    Drinks on drinks.

That's the price if you don't have the loyalty card and, thus, don't get the discount. The sticker then went on to show the "price with card," i.e., the discounted price, i.e. the 20% off price. And that unit price showed as $20.69/lb. That's a discount, yes, but it's not a 20% discount. To simplify, let's say the un-discounted unit price was $25/lb (a penny more than the actual un-discounted price). What's 20% of $25? Five dollars. So the discounted price with loyalty card should have been $20/lb. Another sign at the kiosk advertised 20% off Murray's Aged Manchego. Same problem: Fred's system didn't calculate the 20% correctly. The un-discounted unit price was $26.99/lb., but the same sticker showed the price with card to be $23.59/lb. Twenty percent off $26.99 is $21.59, not $23.59. So, I was being charged $2 more per pound than the advertised price on the sign right there at the kiosk. The nice young woman at the cheese kiosk seemed to understand what I explained to her in person, but she said she couldn't change the pricing; all the cheese sales staff does is weigh the portions and their system spits out a label. So I spoke in person to the man at the customer service counter, who also told me he couldn't change the pricing system and he didn't think anyone else in the store could, either. He noted that the PLU number on the sign didn't match the PLU on the sticker affixed to the hunk of cheese. I phoned and spoke with a grocery manager who did not listen, tried to say I misunderstood, then hung up on me. Then I phoned the 800 number and, once I got past the automated answering system and spoke to a person, she listened, seemed to understand, and said she'd pursue it. Bottom line for you, other Freddie's patrons, is: Check the math on the advertised discount. Make sure that the discount shown on the label agrees with the advertised discount.

Keep your empty cleaned out bottles and jars because ladies and gentlemen we can now buy bulk item with out all the plastic from the big stores. They also have empty jars for $.50 if you need them. They have everything from raw nuts, fruit, vegetables, shampoo and toothpaste tablets. We walked around and looked and then decided on a few items We got small jars of a shea butter lotion, amazing! Also picked up some lip balms I believe we got three different ones. Also Amazing! I picked up some wheat berries so I can mill some flour for bread. Speaking of bread, they also sell bread made locally. They sell cookies and coffee made with beans and syrups they sell. We left with a bunch of goodies to try and takes about our next trip and what we will get. I'm changing our eating habits this year. We are making everything at home. No fast food all home cooked. Well except today when we had to eat, but we choose well with our food. lol we are eating clean now so if your looking to change your eating habits, or want to get away from all the plastic and buy local, stop in and have a look. You never know you may just see something and keep coming back for more.

Review of New Sagaya City Market - Anchorage, Alaska…read more Five weeks ago, I moved from San Francisco to Anchorage, settling near the downtown area. One of my first missions was to find a coffee spot that felt like home--a place with not just great coffee, but genuine people behind the counter. After trying a handful of cafes, a neighbor suggested New Sagaya City Market, just two blocks from my house. What a win. The market itself offers high-end, quality products. Yes, prices are a bit higher than what you'd find at Walmart or Target, but coming from San Francisco, I was prepared for that. What truly sets this place apart, though, isn't just the products--it's the people. From the very beginning, the baristas here have shown me the most consistent and heartfelt customer service I've experienced since moving to Anchorage. They don't just serve coffee; they connect with you, listen to your stories, and make you feel like part of the community. Today was a perfect example. I slipped in the parking lot (rookie mistake--no spikes on my shoes for the icy ground). After two kind gentlemen helped me up, I walked inside with my spilled coffee. Annie, a new barista I hadn't met before, immediately offered me a fresh cup with such kindness and care. That small gesture meant so much--it wasn't just about the coffee, it was about feeling seen and supported. I also want to shout out Monica and Shea, who I met when I first arrived five weeks ago. They've been consistently amazing--funny, charming, and genuinely interested in conversations about life, community, and even my adventures back in San Francisco. Every time I come in, I leave feeling lighter, happier, and more connected. Thank you, Annie, Monica, and Shea, for making New Sagaya City Market my go-to coffee spot. You've given me more than great coffee--you've given me a sense of belonging in a new city. --- Would you like me to make this version short and punchy for Google/Yelp reviews, or keep it longer and more storytelling-focused for something like a blog or social post?

you finally did a Fred Meyer you've pushed me to move away from using your store at all…read more First off today, I was blown away. You had a ton of employees working on a Saturday, which is fantastic, but it would be smart if the shelves were stocked prior to having a store full of people. The manager that had all the time in the world to sit in the electronics department talking with the one employee while everyone else is working must feel really good for all of the employees. Especially the employee in line at customer service. I have to let you know. I absolutely hate your BS coupons that I have to do all the work for to get discount. Why do you advertise something at the discounted coupon? Only price? Why do I have to enter my phone number? If I still have to click the coupon. This is such a stupid system. But you say it's so easy just go through and click the coupons that you need. do you know that you have over 400 coupons per week in the app that's almost a full-time job just to click coupons to get 2 to 3 dollars off per item. Part is you advertise that price and I assume that it's the Fred Meyer use your rewards card price. Because obviously they're clearly labeled. That was sarcasm. They are never clearly labeled half the time they haven't even taken the sale price down from the week prior. I'm frustrated and agitated that the only way for me to find out if it's a digital coupon if I was unsure to hit total, then go back and look at all the items. Or scan all of the items that I purchase in the app to see if there's a coupon. Then scan them again at self check out because I am an employee of the store who hast to work as well. I wish they could do something about the music in here. also, am I allowed to take my 10 minute break? It's frustrating that the majority of the registers open are the ones that are self check out. You have somehow convinced the world that it's convenient for me to do all the work. What are you gonna ask me if I would like to tip my cashier? I want to give you some quick and simple solutions. To the manager, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean there are 1000 things that you could be doing other than flirting with a girl that you are interested in. To whoever created the digital coupons. I hope you meet the demise similar to what Garfield used to say. I shouldn't have to go through 400+ coupons every time I come to your store to make sure that I'm getting a good deal I should be able to put in my phone number as a record member and it should go on automatically. The same BS that you did what I just stated above because it's the right thing to do. you should never advertise a price that is only for special customers willing to go through your BS. The girl working customer service I am sorry I was agitated when I called. I'm probably more agitated that you are the only person with that many people in line and not a manager in site to help you instead they are too busy chatting it up. Security check section 3 security check section 3. Is it just me or every time I hear this it makes me want to steal even more. I don't but it's such a joke. Be better Fred Meyer. I don't know what you have become, but it's agitating. You were trying to make everyone do everything independently self check out, self coupons what's next you're gonna ask me to come unstop the truck put the groceries I want to purchase on the shelf? I have tried several times to use your to the best of my ability when it tells me it's on aisle 17 and it's not there it's frustrating. Then I go to employee and ask for help. They tell me it's on aisle 17 because they're using the same app. then when we walk back and check aisle 16, 17 and 18. They say it must be out. It's strange because I am able to order it for in-store pick up or delivery. How do you not know where the items that you stopped are in your store? I am typically not someone who likes to write anything below two or three star, but today you truly hit a nerve. care more about profits. and confusing your customers than you do about taking care of your customers and your employees.
