It wasn't properly packaged because when we received it, it was completely thawed, barely cool to the touch. The ice packs had shifted to one side of the salmon. The halibut was partially frozen. Very disapointed since this purchase was for personal use to be stored for the year. We bought insurance in case there was a problem and the response from the staff was inadequate. They said as long as the fish was cold to the touch there was no issue. They told me to just refreezee it and it would be safe to eat it. I feel like they ignored my request for the insurance although we paid for it, and I didn't feel safe eating the fish I was so looking forward to sharing with my family and friends. I just wish the insurance we bought and paid for was honored.
