The first time I met Rose, she suggested that she would love to do my eyebrows. I had read a few reviews about her business, and had heard that she was very good at doing eyebrows. I decided I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. Rose asked if it would be okay to color my eyebrows, and I said she could go ahead. I would never thought of doing that on my own, but I think it was the right thing to do. She started by shaping my eyebrows, and then colored them. Rose has a way with words so I will put caution to that. I got a Groupon and to even call and book was a pain. Eventually I get an appointment and on the day of my appointment, I call because I had not heard anything on for Rose to say I didn't have an appointment and asked who booked me. She did. She rescheduled me and offered me a free eyebrow tint (I never received it). Long story short, she started suggestion all these things and I found it to be a way to keep you coming back. I started getting charged for more than what I went there for initially. Not even sure I used my groupon. She will offer these products in a way that make it seem she is giving them to you but will charge you. All around, it is very conniving. I would not recommend anyone to go. I bought a Groupon for a Microdermabrasion, I booked my appointment online. On the day of the appointment (on my way to the appointment) I got a call from Rose to say that her tech was sick and offered me a free facial for the inconvenience so I accepted it and thanked her. I went in for my consultation for the Microderm and she didn't think it would make much of a difference for my skin since I had some discoloration. Anyway I was invited to an spa event in which they did giveaways and I could possibly win a top performing peel. So I agreed and attended. I didn't win anything. Three weeks to a month into trying to get my Microderm done I decided to just pay for a peel. I spent an additional $228 for the peel and facial (apart from the $40 for the Groupon). The peel didn't do anything but flake my skin very slightly. When I went back for my review Rose was surprised it didn't work and she was nice enough to try a different peel. I had to go back for her to see the results and I had an appointment for Saturday afternoon. I got to the spa and she told me she had sent me an email to tell me I didn't need to come in. I was a little annoyed because the email was sent when I was actually on my way there, thankfully I was getting a massage done around the corner so I was in the vicinity but I would've appreciated a phone call to cancel. Again a week later with the stronger peel there was no 'actual' peeling, infact less than the first time. I'm not sure if enough product was used on my skin or if it wasn't strong enough because my understanding is the effect of the peel is based on the layers used. Anyway long story short, my skin did get slightly brighter, the peel did not resolve my major complaints so I am going to have to look around Brampton for another Medical Spa. Don't get me wrong I saw before and after pictures of other people who got peels done and their skin looked amazing but I definitely didn't get the same effect. This past Mother's Day I bought 2 Buytopia vouchers for the Express mani-pedi with Massage and a glass of wine - for my mother and I to have done together. When booking the appointments I'd requested that my mom and I would like our services done at the same time. Rose said that would be fine and we booked our appointments. When we arrived for our appointments, there was no one else other than Rose there. She offered us the glass of wine each and we said yes. Then she said she had no wine glasses and could give us plastic cups. So I said no thank you. I'm not desperate for the wine, but I like the experience of a wine glass - the plastic cup ruins the experience and feels cheap. Then she added, "well, I can't find the cups anyway" and offered us bottles of water. She said her other technician, Diana, was running late and would be there shortly, in the meanwhile she will start the pedicures. The worst pedi ever, I could have done a better job myself. She barely cut or filed the nails. She refused to cut cuticles, she refused to clean away dry skin around the nails. She barely did anything to the heels. She could tell that we weren't happy and said that pedicures aren't her specialty and that Diana was the pedicurist. She rubbed some cream on our feet and showed us colour wheels for nail colours. Every color we picked she didn't have. So we finally asked her to show what she actually DID have. She brought out 6 bottles of the nastiest colours! The polishes were all thick and dried up! What kind of place is this? Pathetic! It had been an hour now and still no Diana. I asked her if Diana was even coming so she went to call Diana. She came back and told us that she made a mistake and forgot that Diana was on vacation today. I had called 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE to book these appointments! Does she not know when her staff is scheduled! I don't think Rose was being honest with me about Diana. I think she forgot to schedule her in. So unprofessional! What a waste of almost 2 hours! She knew we were very disappointed and offered us a refund. She also offered my mother a $50 gift card towards any service. NO THANK YOU! WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN! This woman does not know how to run a business - I don't know how she's surviving. And I'm surprised these Groupon-type companies are helping promote her business. La Vita Bella deserves no stars. Long story short (long story is below), Rose lies and nobody should go to La Vita Bella for anything! Long story I bought a Groupon-type deal from DealTicker.com on December 9, 2011 for one year of unlimited laser hair removal at La Vita Bella Spa. I called on December 10 and left a message to book an appointment and they called back almost a week later on December 16 to set a time. I asked for a weekend appointment because I worked downtown Toronto then and would never be able to make it to a weekday evening appointment in Brampton on time. I was told that the weekends were all booked up (I guess in perpetuity) and the only opening was for Tuesday, January 24, 2012. I asked for the latest possible appointment and told the woman I was speaking to that I'd have to commute to Brampton from downtown Toronto; I was booked for my laser appointment at 6:15pm. All of the emails that I got from La Vita Bella Spa said that I had a 15min laser appointment booked on January 24 at 6:15pm. On January 24 I left work at 5pm, ninety minutes earlier than my scheduled time, and drove to Brampton. At 6:06pm I called La Vita Bella Spa and left a message saying I was running a few minutes late because of traffic but would be there shortly. Rose called me back a minute later to ask if I was coming and I let her know I'd just left a message saying I would be there a few minutes late. She then called again to say her 6:30pm appointment is always on time, so would I mind waiting until after that appointment? I said that would be fine. I got to La Vita Bella Spa at 6:25pm and Rose came out after a few minutes to greet me. Over the next 60 minutes she served five other customers, at least one of whom she said was her model, and called me Bianca each time she came out to say it'd be a few more minutes (my name's not Bianca). About 35 minutes into the wait, she let me know it would be another 30 minutes. I asked when I'd be able to get an appointment if I rescheduled but she apparently didn't hear me because she went back to her other customers and model. At 7:30pm Rose invited me to the back and I let her know which areas I wanted laser hair removal on. At that point she let me know the doctor was not there and she was not able to do laser hair removal on me, she thought I was there for a thermolysis appointment. They don't do laser at that time of day. Who booked my appointment? It must have been so-and-so. Where was my confirmation email? She'd give me a $24 gift card toward her other services. She can't discount the laser. None of these questions or statements were things that me or my boiling blood cared about. Rose then went into a spiel about how important it is that I be on time because La Vita Bella strives to provide quality service. I don't understand how my being 10 minutes late and then having to wait 65 minutes could have prompted her sharing this information because La Vita Bella obviously doesn't have their act together, nor did they provide any service at all, never mind quality service. As I have regularly been getting my eyebrows done here, I often get compliments. I was on an online dating site and had a guy message me. He said "I'm not really interested, but I wanted to let you know your eyebrows are on point". Getting this compliments was amazing. He went out of his way just to compliment my eyebrows. I visited la Vita Bella Medical spa just before the holidays for a chemical peel and was very pleased with all of the services and professionalism from Rose. She has been in the business for many years and I know many people that have been at la vita Bella and have had nothin but satisfaction. Rose was very helpful every step of the way with any questions or concerns I may have had during the peeling process. With no fault of Roses, I broke out with pimples on my forehead and she was great with getting them all healed up! I even went back for a second peel with Rose. She knows her stuff and backs everything up with reading material to make sure you know the process and benefits of treatment. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the salon, Rose always wears gloves and makes sure everything is clean! I've bought some deals that have been out there and in the long run its a waist of money because you end up paying more for the proper treatments. This place does not deserve any star and like Amber said should be shut down. I bought a package through TeamBuy and I thought I'll try out a new place. The owner and aesthetician Rose did a skin consultation for me and said all sorts of things that were wrong in my face. And there is absolutely nothing wrong. She applied something on my face and it started to burn, and I asked her to take it off immediately. She only wants to sell crap, and I guess people see instant results for an hour and get impressed. But overtime getting any treatment from this place will ruin your skin. They are very unprofessional. I was calling so many times and after 3 days Rose returned my call to reschedule an appointment.. She booked me for a shellac manicure and pedicure, and a massage on a particular day. Their appointment program called schedulicity is a total crap sends email out booking clients with people who are not even working on the day. When you reach the spa, she says I'll offer free this or that for inconvenience, and they haven't fixed this problem in months. To get one appointment she takes 1 month. They apparently promoted their business on teambuy and dealfind, but DO NOT have the capacity to fulfil the demand that it generated. Only 1 manicure table and massage table. I guess may be she collected money to save her business from debt. Okay even after all this trouble, I thought may be the services would be good. I don't know what kind of people she hires, but they cannot even apply nailpolish properly. My shellac manicure was completely ruined. It was streaky, and she did the top coat already, so it cannot be changed. Rose raves herself that she does the best brow and insists that she wants to laser them on first visit. Thank god I did not fall into this trap. She does horrible eye brows. I have a massage left on my coupon, but I will never go back to this place, as it will take months to get an appointment, and when you get there, either they are overbooked, or booked with people who are not working on that day. The paid less for the coupon and I spent more gas going to this place so many times for their mis management. Please DO NOT go to this place even if they are offering cheap prices. KP. I aswell had a bad experience with Rose - I went to for a facial anaylse and she recommend I get a facial complimentary - so nedless to say I had the AFA facial done and my skin looked great - she then proceeded to tell me that if I had a peel done the results would be even more dramatic - with that I was sold - she is very persistant in a postiive way - I questioned her to whether it be to soon after I had a facial and she said no - so we were booked ( this was for the beginning of July) she assured me that the summer is a great time to do a peel - low and behold it was a nightmare, I missed most of the hot summer days as my face was a diasaster, I had very uneven peeling over my face and hyperpigmentation on my chin that lasted for weeks - When I spoke with Rose about it she said that I must have peeled my own skin - which was not true - I let it peel naturally - no matter what I said to her she blamed the bad results on something that I had done .......................the story goes on and on - I ened up going to the ICLS for an acessment and they told me her practices were all wrong and the peel should never have been done on my face - this lady is trying to rob ya............At ICLS they recommended that I put vaseline on my face which Rose had told me prior to stay away from - after a few days of Vaseline the healing process started to happen - Rose is just trying to sell ya on her products and false services - Con artist I would say - dont let her fool ya as she sure fooled me................. Not too mention that when I was in her office she convinced a lady to have some laser done on her face( this was a wednesday) and her daughters wedding was on the saturday - I had later heard that the lady had scab like marks on her face for her daughters wedding day....................................what kind of ethics are those??? read more

A friend had purchased a Dealfind package for this spa for both her and I to have a spa day together. First I called and spoke to Rose who told me all her staff had quit recently and she was unable to book my friend and I together. I agreed to call back in a couple of weeks of time, and when I did I was able to book the appointment. She then tried to shorten the massage time to 1/2 hour instead of 1 hour, Rose insisted we had discussed and I had agreed to this change which I most certainly did not. Then she kept chaning the times. I had received about 20 email confimations by this point and had no idea when I was actually supposed to go. When I finally called she said I sounded annoyed and that she wasn't interested in unhappy customers. For the record, I was perfectly happy before trying to book an appointment here! After reading the other review I'm acutally releived she doens't want my business, as it sounds like it could be hazzerdous to my health.
