I actually visited twice because it was so bad the first time I thought the shock might have affected my ability to comprehend what I was experiencing. Nope, the second visit was just as bad. If you've been around awhile, it's easy to see what this place used to be. It was the corner store where you could get anything and meet all your neighbors. It has groceries, a meat market, a notary, Western Union, a bait shop, fishing licenses, gas pumps out front and on and on and on. Old timers say that it indeed was the place to go. Time has passed it by and now it's just a sad, dirty, and broken down eyesore. It's a miracle it's still open. Abysmal selection. Out of code products. Dirty. Broken displays. You get the idea. If the apocalypse occurred and the world as we knew it was ending; I might stop in but I'd need to think about it!

Walkable at only about 0.2 miles and they have all the groceries you need. It is the biggest grocery store in Grace Bay. Fruit and dairy products are very expensive in Turks and Caicos. For example grapefruit cost over $3 each, individual yogurt servings were over $3. They also have different prepared food each day. They also have a coffee shop, salad bar, and a deli. The food here was very reasonably priced and many locals ate lunch there. For breakfast they have the normal eggs, french toast, breakfast meat, etc. For lunch there is a menu that changes everyday (see photo). The first day we got BBQ ribs, Mac and cheese, and a spinach empanada. All of which were great. Next day we got pork chops, tuna salad, and a baked potato. The empanadas were different from the yellow Mexican type ones you get a most places. The crust was flakier but really good. They had some mini quail empanadas that were good. PRO TIP (Like my friend Winnie L): If you choose something like empanadas, seared salmon which are not hot, you can ask the staff to heat it up when you order. The salmon was simple but excellent. My favorites were the BBQ meatloaf and curry chicken salad. Baked mac and cheese was a great side Definitely a convenient lunch option. If you drive they have a good sized parking lot. The deli makes sandwiches to order and they have a good selection (see photos). We ate lunch at this place every day we were in Turks and Caicos. We did not have a single bad meal.

She was a short hispanic lady, wrote everything down, gave me a copy of the order and said pay when you come pick it up. She had a whole week, I go to pick it up Friday June 14th, nothing, no cake, no order it's as if I was never there. I'm confused as to how something like this could occur and why, why did she not (after the long conversation) put my cake order in. Luckily (or not so lucky) I was able to put the order in again because my party was on the 15th. I pick up the cake on the 15th before my party just to see that whoever did the EkG rhythm did awful, so awful! If you do not know how to do a certain design that is in the publix bakery book that you can order by the way, do not do it! I will never order a cake from this bakery again, so unprofessional and do horrible work. I was stuck with an awful looking cake! I placed cake toppers that I bought from Amazon that made the top of the cake look nice, but whichever lady did the EKG rhythms, you should not design cakes and you should be ashamed that you didn't care about the person you were doing the cake for! So everyone Knows, I myself decorated the top of the cake. The EKG Rhythm is what Publix Bakery in Lake placid did and as you can see did a horrible job! If you're a medical professional do not have this bakery do your cake design they either do not submit your order or do not know how to create designs that you can pick out of the book.

Look at what Publix did and what they were supposed to do from the EKG strip on the table. Shame on Publix bakery!
