Safe, clean, well maintained fields. I only wish they would invest in some nursery shade cloths to block the sun, at least in field 8 where they hold their classes. Such an inexpensive investment that would be so beneficial. They could also drill some holes in the table tops to allow for umbrellas in the eating area. My kids come here for practice during the week- Max is very good with them. We also come here on Friday and Saturday for scrimmages. read more

This place is not SAFE, they are KIDS playing in this fields, first the cameras should be working all the time well they're not, yesterday my husbands phone got stolen and no one was able to help us at all, they just told us to speak to the manager well we spoke to her and the same thing she's wasn't able to help us at all. read more

Gardena Lab Five suck, unorganized the girl Wendy suck as well she's busy flirting with the workers no communication with the parents. So I just gotta say, this place is pretty cool and my son was digging it (why they get 2 stars); however, had a game tonight where the opposing coach was red carded, rightfully so, then refused to leave the field as instructed by the ref (he had an adult man tantrum). Further, the ejected coaches presumed wife stepped in, who also had a tantrum, and went to "tell" on the ref to management. Instead of playing soccer, as we paid for, the kids (10 year olds) had to wait for the adult drama to deescalate. Even the child of the said adults having the tantrums was pleading to let them just play soccer.....which again is what we all paid for. (It was really a pretty sad occurrence) Although the opposing coach was red carded, and used vulgar language amongst our 10 year old children, the management ultimately let the coach stay and continue coaching the team. What kind of message does this send these young players? Do we learn to disregard the rules of soccer at such a young age?? What about the reffing, whose authority is now questioned moving forward?? Do we just need to go tell on the refs to management if we dislike their calls?? (I will add that the reffing here, in general, seems better than most places (adding to the 2 stars)). Overall, pretty lame in my opinion.....Also, the parking sucks for $5. What do you think?? read more

wouldn't even give one star if it was an option. this league has no type of good authority AT ALL. they allow violent altercations to escalate and justify it by saying "we spoke to them" instead of taking action, then they go on wondering why their league never improves because they think all is well with just saying that it's wrong and won't happen again when IT ALWAYS DOES. the refs suck & get a kick at seeing the players fight. they honestly let ANYONE PLAY if you pay up because all they want is $$$$. they never abide by THEIR OWN rules when it comes to known friends playing in that league and always defend them. the rules are constantly changing but no one follows them and authority doesn't even push for them to be followed by. read more

I'm so infuriated and will NEVER use this place again. I called and set aside the space for 3 hours. To start, we were never told prior, that the field closest to the patio is under construction so we would not be able to use it which meant that the kids would have to go further out in order to play and the parents would not be able to have seating to watch them. It was 90+ degrees with 100% humidity and not one canopy in site. We asked the boys that were in the office if they had any & they said that the owner had taken them to another location for a party. We rented for 3 hours and half the time had parents and friends going to different stores purchasing canopies because the heat was unbearable. I contacted Erica (she never picked up only replied with texts) and confirmed they had been taken to a different location. Once I let her know how upset we were, she stopped replying. We were charged the same as they do for bday parties but we're not given any drinks like they do for the birthday parties. This year alone, our soccer team has hosted 5 events there. We will never go back and continue to give them business & will warn anyone we know that would like to rent, to save their money and go else where. DO NOT HOST YOUR PARTIES HERE! read more

If I knew I would never take my child to play here. They had a tournament. My child was playing against children 2-3 years older. They don't verify ages and are completely unprofessional. They allow others teams to cheat without care. At the end of the tournament a coach and parent were physically attacked. Yes, physically attacked. There is no security, No management, and just a poor and disgusting establishment that allow barbaric behavior. I will never send my child here again. read more

Lab 5 in pacoima is a ridiculous place they charge 15 dollars per player and 5 dollars for parking that is ridiculous the staff very rude the fields are very uneven my kids would go there before and were never charged I would not recommend this place go to Whitsett park or balboa you can play for free and with great teams read more

Here we go again, now this so-called Soccer sports business is renting out the area to parties. Music till 2:00 am in the morning and cars and trucks racing up and down the street, even doing donuts on the corner of Debell and Telfair Ave. As I said before these are people that do not live in the neighborhood but are disrupting neighbors till 3:00 partying on the streets and of course leaving their trash and bottles behind. Just Right Now! at 2:00 am, Saturday night Sunday morning Sept 29th, 2024, crowds ended up on Debell St. after a party at the Lab 5 and someone started shooting a gun at the crowd. The thing that pisses me off is that these stupid ass people are not from any of these streets or live around here. The police drove up and down with search lights and did 'Not One Damn Thing' to disburse the crowd which is typical of Foothill Division. Lab 5 will make money anyway they can and at this neighborhood's expense. We started coming here over a year ago when my child played for a different team. Lab5 started their own teams and we joined ($300 every 10 weeks) we supported the establishment, we bought over $250 worth of merchandise. Everything was great until about 1-2 months ago when they fired multiple staff including our teams coach. they hyped up the new coach that he was amazing blah blah.... HORRIBLE MAN they picked as a new coach. Only spoke to the kids to yell at them (7-8 year olds) they won one game and he told them "what are you celebrating for you did nothing" completely shattered these kids self esteem. When a parent tried to speak to him he was super defensive and would say " this is my team I do what I want, if you don't like it leave" that's the "calmest" response he ever gave. we complained and they did nothing only asked if he can apologize. For what? We tried multiple times to speak to front office about the issue BEFORE that happened, they didn't care. Now I believe what Lab5 said "everyone is replaceable including the players" what a wonderful way to treat your players that supported this establishment! The other comment is correct there has been multiple physical fights, they sell beer which only increases the chance of a dangerous situation around all those children. I come here every week with my group of players and we really enjoy playing here. The fields are all in perfect condition and the perfect size for a small 5v5 or 6v6 pick-up game. The staff here is also amazing and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to play soccer. read more
