    Schedule an appointment at goodyear location months ago. Received confirmation email and reminder text the day before. Showed up for the appointment and found a sign on the door that read, "Location permanently closed." Called customer service. Tiffany told me i would receive a phince call from. Someone in administration by end of day. 52 hours later, I am still waiting on that phone call. Customer service hung up on the 3 times and then left me on perpetual hold another 3 times. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor and instead keep changing the timeliness for someone to call me back. First it was end of day, then 24 hours and then an additional 24 hours. Labcorp closed the site without telling anyone a month ago and sent conformation od the appointment the day before the appointment. I did what I was supposed to do and made my appointment months ago to ensure I would have the results before my doctor appointment. Labcorp offered no help and left me on my own to solve the problem. Went to Avondale office and was I still told I would be treated as a walking with a 3 to 4 hour wait. I explained the situation at the front desk and was told "It's not our problem." I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told no because I was talking to the coordinator. Again told not their problem. I showed them my confirmation email and she went and got her team leader. She said she would honor my appointment but it was still going to be at least a half hour wait. After a half hour, I was called back to the window. A man said he was just told to enter my information. He was incredibly rude and kept saying it wasn't his problem. After another Ling wait. I finally got the tests done. I learned from the phlebotomy that he had worked at the goodyear location and they were told not to put up signs and were not to call patients with appointments scheduled to let them know the goodyear location was closing. He said that the Avondale office was covering for the goodyear office but that no one knows that unless they come to the Avondale office. He also said that the Avondale office treats them as walking and makes people wait 3 to 4 hours. Really bad customer service to close a location and not let patients with appointments tlknow and then treat them like they dont matter when they are trying to solve the probelm created by labcorp in the first place. 52 hours and still no response from labcorp about it at all.​

Mom does not usually do well with procedures and doctor visits in the morning. 1st Choice is aware of this as we have had at least three discussions about it over the past year. Recently the scheduling process has become even less customer friendly. Following is an example of how they operate: Yesterday mid day I received an email stating Mom's blood draw was scheduled for noon today. Then at 4:25 yesterday afternoon I received another email and text stating the appointment had been moved to 9 am. I immediately called and the phone was answered by an unprofessional sounding young woman who took over 10 minutes to locate the appointment. She then informed me it was too late to change it. I told her the 9 am time would not work and why. She said she'd send a message to someone (not sure who). Subsequently I texted, called, left a voicemail message, and sent an email requesting contact. No response. Fast forward to this morning. At 7:39 I received a text stating the technician was on his way. 30 seconds later I received a text stating work was finished. I immediately called and left another voicemail asking that someone contact me about scheduling. No one has. So to recap: this company scheduled an early appointment for the next day. I called within 15 minutes but they refused to change it, even though the time scheduled was their mistake. Then they showed up unannounced almost 90 minutes earlier than that! Wow. I've given this company 2 stars only because so far they haven't screwed up the actual blood draw. But as far as scheduling is concerned they seem to care more about their own convenience than that of my Mom. They literally just show up whenever they want.

The MRIs, the x-rays, and the technicians who handle both are professional and courteous. They explain what's going on and how the testing will proceed. Unfortunately, the doctor who read my MRI scan, I believe, is the dumbest in Arizona. Not sure how this radiologist observed an organ in my body and documented that there were no issues with it when the organ was removed 33 years ago, so either there was a miracle, thank you God, or this doctor is not very good at what he does. The doctor also recommended no further assessment or treatment for a cyst that was observed, which could very well be true. However, if it has not been biopsied or looked at, how can this doctor make that recommendation without knowing my prior scans? I am sure there are other radiologists, but I would not touch this particular one with a 10-foot pole. because of this, I removed two stars.
