i barely review places/businesses but this place is just too disappointing and very unprofessional!! DON'T GO HERE AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I dont understand the bill i got because first off the guy didnt help at all. he wanted me to go to the ER, bullied me saying "well i hope you dont die" dont blame me if you die" so unprofessional, limited tests was done, just the urine, didnt even get my blood drawn or anything, just assumed that i need to go to the ER, he also said that he told the patient before me to go to the ER, so what is this? is he just lazy or what?? mind you after the bullying, i cried in my car because i was already in pain and this guy has the audacity to say that. after i left the building, i came back after 5 mins cause i changed my mind and decided to take the stool test that he offered the first time and he said they offer it there, he refused the service and denied me from getting the test. he just said just go to the ER. i didnt go to the ER and scheduled an appointment with my doctor after two days, got multiple tests, blood, urine, stool, xrays. i told my dad abt this the day of, the er and the bullying thing, and he said he'll complain, and i said it's okay, but now i got this huge bill for what?? sitting in your facility for 10 mins, getting bullied, and you guys never really resolved anything. i dont like the way he treated me, it was very unprofessional. you can check the tapes if you want to. read more

Not only was the type of care extremely unsatisfying being that the provider I spoke to was extremely cart and wanted to get me out of there, they have now twice made me overpay for the co-pay. I just had to appeal a claim with my insurance because nextcare entered the code wrong for my visit and I almost paid a $350 global fee that I didn't have to pay if I did not inquire. Not only is the care on satisfying but the backend department is not correctly inputting information. I just got a check for over $100 from a co-pay that I overpaid four years ago. Went in and took a seat and was called back pretty quick. Everyone was friendly, professional and polite. Pablo was a gift! He made me laugh when I felt pretty icky. Made an appointment online yesterday and was able to fill out all the paperwork virtually. I'm not entirely sure that making the appointment made much of a difference with my wait time but I expected that, just based on the nature of a walk in clinic. The front desk team were friendly and efficient. The waiting area was quiet and clean with a television. I was able to read comfortable while I waited. The nurse who took me back, checked my vitals, etc, was friendly and quick. The PA, Carey, was lovely. Excellent bedside manner, efficient without making me feel rushed, knowledgeable, and very friendly. In the era of GPs rarely having same day appointments I wouldn't hesitate to return to this NextCare location for myself or my kiddos. read more

Having to hunt down my prescription because it was sent to the incorrect pharmacy and is now in limbo has caused me to be in unnecessary pain/discomfort almost 24 hours after my Urgent Care visit. If I paid my copay and was technically NOT TREATED for my illness you would think I'd be entitled to a refund, right? Try any other location but this one, because you will not be taken care of. I am close to losing my voice because of how hard I've been coughing Update: ended up getting one of my 2 medications finally sent to the correct pharmacy 4 DAYS LATER. The other medications dosage was never corrected. My pharmacy had let me know since day 1 to have them change one prescription from 1 200mg capsule to 2 100mg capsules because they were on back order for 200mg's, and despite asking each time I called it wasn't done so when I picked up my medication 4 days later I had given up on calling several times each day, and I was still only able to get one of the 2. The first visit I've ever received terrible service! I have a UTI and have a history of them but I'm waiting on my urologist appointment and PCP cant see me for a week. The PA stated "your urine isn't convincing of infection but I will give you half a round of antibiotics and send to culture and see those results". Well I never got a call and after two days without antibiotics not only did symptoms start again but I was able to get on the app and see that I indeed do have an infection as I had told her. It took multiple phone calls to get thru to someone who stated "yes u have an infection but 5 days of meds is enough so come back if your still having issue". I informed her what the dr said and that my antibiotics are always for 10days and she said "theirs no notes and she's not here so you'll have to come back". Well I can't pay that copay again so now what??! Terrible for any health care professionals to treat someone this way especially someone who is ill. Last time I came here it was quick efficient. This time I made an appointment for 7:15pm, it's 7:50 pm and everyone who was a "walk in" were all seen before me and now leaving. I made an appointment because I had symptoms of strep throat, something I've had several times in my life. I came to the office and waited two hours to be seen. A little annoying since I made an appointment, but the receptionist was honest from the beginning that it would be a long wait and it was a Sunday, so I waited my turn without complaining. Rapid strep, covid, and flu all negative. She prescribed me cough drops and ibuprophen. I asked for antibiotics because over the counter cold and flu meds weren't doing anything, and even with negative strep tests in the past providers have given me antibiotics which always cleared it up. She told me that she wouldn't know what she'd be prescribing antibiotics for and the cough drops would help. An assistant came in to swab my throat for a culture which the provider told me would have results in 24 to 48 hours. I waited five days before calling back to ask for results when the receptionist told me that it would be a week minimum to get my results since the lab had been backed up for awhile and that they'd call me. Two weeks after coming in, I called again and was told it was negative. The receptionist and I talked about what happened and she sounded surprised and upset on my behalf when I told her that I was prescribed cough drops and ibuprophen instead of antibiotics. She asked if I could come in then since there was another provider there that day. I told her that I couldn't but she assured me that she'd send a message to the other providers in the office to see if someone could prescribe antibiotics for me. I thanked her and felt like things would be alright. That was two weeks ago that she promised to call me and do something to help me. It has been a full month since I came in and I am still having symptoms. The cough drops and ibuprophen shockingly didn't help. The last time I called I was told to either come in again or go to my PCP. Every doctor's appointment costs time and money from the patients that are coming in with an issue and are asking for help. She treated me very strangely with a demeaning attitude. She was bothered by me asking questions and asking her to come back twice since she hadn't really explained my treatment plan. 2 stars because the front desk girl with the glasses was very nice and so was the nurse. The nurse didn't even know what exactly the shots he was administering were treating because the PA didn't explain to him maybe? In my opinion the PA did an incomplete exam. My personal experience was great the clinic was empty and the pediatrician gave my toddler meds to help, registration was easy, they asked if I had a second insurance to cover the cost of the copay, the staff and Dr. Where professional and nice, where I live witch is 20-30 min away there are no pediatrician urgent care open at night, so I'm grateful that I found an open pediatric "urgent care" they also provided address to 24 hr pharmacies, once more I appreciate that, I had no issues at all and if I would have it would take a lot for me to complain, because I understand that mistakes can be made, you won't always have a great day, yes they should be professional, but we also need to be more empathetic, it's a hard line of work, thank you. read more

Brought my daughter in last night for possible broken arm, they found what was broken and wrapped it up until I could get her into an orthopedic. From front staff to everyone in the back were fantastic, special shout out to the X-ray tech she was amazing and my daughter loved her. The ortho today was very impressed that urgent care found the fracture in her arm with how small and difficulty of seeing the area on her small arms. read more

I was in and out within 1 hour and 30 minutes. I walked in. Waited almost an hour to be screened, but the rest flew by! The staff is super nice and helpful. Social distancing and masks are required. The provider was quick and helpful! I can not be happier with his knowledge. I went in with super bad nagging back pain and I had left with abx and steroids. I would've never guessed I had a lung infection ! I thought I was getting better fr a normal cold. Several hours after taking my meds the pain slowly started going away as he said it would! I went into Nextcare Urgent care in Avondale on Jan 7th. I had been feeling weak as a kitten for about 3 weeks and my face was red streaked with blotches of crusty red scabs all over and around my eyes. I felt horrible. I was seen very quickly and PA Carey Tucker took care of me. He diagnosed me with Rosacea and prescribed an antibiotic for me . 3 days later I feel strong again and my face is completely clear! I just seen Kelly McAllister for an upper respiratory infection. She literally spent three minutes seeing me and refused to give me an anabiotic. I explain to her that I am a cancer. Patient having my fifth surgery next week and needed to be sure that I was well enough for surgery, I also explain to her that if I did not have the surgery that I would be suicidal again, she still refused to give me an anabiotic. I explain to her that my lungs hurt and I have disgusting mucus. She spent three minutes with me and send me on my way , she was rude as all hell and had the worst bedside manner ever.
