I had several conversations with them before the date of procedure and they answered all my questions and help me prepare mentality. The day of, they knew who I was and continued to be as equally supportive. I have to give a shout out to Ashley. Talk about the sweetest and went above and beyond. I rambled horrifically and Ashley was so understanding. She made me laugh several times to ease my nerves. When the ultrasound tech came for me Ashley instructed her to take her time and explain everything to me because I was nervous and she did just that. The ultrasound tech and the doctor were very gentle and understood how nervous I was and met me where I was at emotionally. So my friends and family were aware of me having this procedure but I snuck away and went to do it alone after all my love ones volunteered to go with me. When I left the exam room I found Ashley standing at the door waiting on me. She wanted to ensure I was ok and that everything went smoothly. That meant so much to me. As a woman I have never felt so much empathy from other woman like I had during this process. Luckily everything worked out for me...but the way I was treated I felt I was in good hands either way.

She came in seen me for all of 3 minutes and tired to send me home talking about just take some Benadryl you'll be fine. My entire right eye was swollen. I explained that Friday I had woken up with a stye on my eye on the right top corner of my eyelid on Saturday. The sky had moved and taking over my entire top eyelid. I applied a warm compress later that evening, my under eye as well as my top eyelid was swollen Sunday the day I went my entire eye was swollen as if someone had punched me in the eye, she looks at me and says no it's not the stye. It looks like allergies. I had to beg her to prescribe me. The medicated drops her response when I advocated for myself was oh well I guess I can put you in a prescription for the drops.. 24 hours after taking the drops, the swelling has gone down tremendously. My vision has improved all because I advocated for myself.
