Had to come here for some bloodwork this morning. First time here. I made an appt a few days ago and the only earliest time available was 7:45. I got here a little before 7am and checked in at the kiosk right after. During check in, it showed a 7:30 available so I changed it to that one. I saw people who arrived after and checked in after me get called back first. Regardless if someone has an appt set, if they're there early and checked in, you should take them over walk-ins who came in after. Place is quiet and seems clean. Has a good amount of seating. 3 stars overall due to the order being taken back. **5 STARS** for Deepa (not sure if I spelled that right)! It was a little after 7:20 when she called me back. The front desk tried to tell her that it wasn't my turn or something and I heard her tell them that I've been signed in since 7:02am! If I could give zero stars I so would Back ground : I have my hematologist , pcp I am anemic . I am making my rounds asking my doctors to get in all the blood work in now so my pcp and hematologist wants blood work my pc pcp wants blood work as well but there catch I had to fast for 12 hours. So I go into labcorp me and this older lady check in about the same time she is sitting next to me heck 20 mins go by And she ask the so Called check in lady how much longer the lady told her 40 mins . And after her it was supose to be me. However, they are putting other Walk- in ahead of me even though I was there before them . By this point it's been an 1 hour still waiting the check in lady Putting people ahead of me and they are walk ins and then I hear the check in lady say " it's going to take A while to get seen we have a long wait list" I am sitting there feeling dizzy like I am going to faint , I am starving , I am animic , and I have somebody waiting in the car For me I have headaches and want to go home. I get up I confronted the check out lady like hey your putting walk ins above me and I was here before them and I am bout to faint and pass out I don't feel good I haven't eaten in over 12 hours I have headache . The Lady was like we had to do appointments first and then don't you know a Polly prissy pants was like " I am a registered nurse and if you sit down you won't feel dizzy" . I looked at her and I told her you can mind your business no one talking to you . This so called registered nurse had no clue what I was dealing with and she wanna jump into my conversation butt out of it it's not your concern. Then the check in lady said next time schedule appointment. I said I will sooooooooooooooooooooooo do that but there won't be a next time , I am just going to go to the Er and tell them to do all the blood work. The guy took me back and did my labs they had me waiting over 2 hours people want to get in and out . the lesson here is folk schedule appointment - however make sure they see you at your schudule time. the second lesson - is if it's none of your business stay out of it. You have no idea what another person is going though it does not concern you . I was there way before Polly prissy pants showed up The register nurse, guess what no one cares about your credentials mind your own business . I going to go somewhere else they have me so mad ki Surprised. I did not faint right there and then I felt dizzzy and lightheaded and dehydrated. And head ache stupid people need to mind there own business. And labcorp need to get there crap togehter don't put other walk in ahead of me just cuz you think no one paying attention I am but like I said I going to beg Er to do blood work or find some where else to go . made an appointment online for 9:30. Walk into the labcorp waiting room which is a little bigger than a closet and all chairs are taken with people standing and nobody at the reception desk. Scanned all my documents and half hour later someone shows up at the desk to take my paperwork. Apparently there is only one person taking blood. They are understaffed and over worked. Labcorp seems to be more concerned with their stock holders than their customers. read more

I went to Labcorp because of issues with S....Q.... The first time I went about 8 months ago and was very impressed. I walked in and there were only couple of others there. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. This time I went and the place was packed. No empty seats. It took over an hour to get blood drawn. Not sure if everyone followed me over there. Next time I will make an appointment and see if that helps. Most of workers I saw there English is their 1st language. But we able to communicate. read more

I doubt people check reviews for lab testing facilities but if you do, choose somewhere else. I scheduled an appointment for 10:45 and I waited until noon. Since they're not open on weekends, you need to take an extra hour (minimum) out of your day to wait in line. One guy didn't account for that and he had to leave for his job. I bet he is really looking forward to coming back. The receptionists only acknowledge you if you wait at the counter for 20 seconds. It also appeared that some walk ins were given priority over people who schedule appointments. The hours listed on yelp are also false. This lab closes for patients at 2:00, meaning if you go any later, they won't serve you. I was told the reason for the slower time was internet issues. Judging by the other reviews, they have been having internet issues for months. With the number of clients currently waiting in the lobby, you'd think they may have enough funding to call their internet provider. The only way to have a 2+ star experience here is if you are higher than a kite, which is ironic because you'd probably fail your pre-employment drug screening if you did that, and you'd have to come back. read more

Horrible service The nurses there are inconsiderate, rude, in so many levels. I understand if they get a high level array of issues from different people. However, people should not be treated as objects or to rude criticism. Even when I was there the employees were very rude to everyone. I will not be going back to that location ever again. read more

The women who conduct the blood draws are wonderful. I've never had them hurt me with the needle or have a bruise afterwards.

Dont go in the early morning as they are always VERY BUSY then. I went at 2pm and there was no wait!

This place is the worst out of all the labcorps in Arizona, these people are so unprofessional. Why do they make you wait almost a hour to take one urine sample? Make it make sense? Came at 6:45 had to wait almost a hour to take urine. The two workers at the front did not accommodate when there was LITERALLY nobody in the office. Put others in front that just got there. It should be a negative star. After making appointment I get there and they don't have order that was sent over 3 weeks before. I call Dr. office to have them send another right away. They receive it an I still wait 30 minutes. Then when I go to the Dr. for the follow up they don't have results and labcorp says I was never there. Do not use them. read more

Came in this morning for a walk in to get my blood work done. 2/8. Martha was so kind! From helping me get checked in to chatting as she did my blood work, she was very sweet. I haven't had blood withdrawn in years so I was a little nervous but she made the process so easy. She got my vein on the first try! read more

I use this location 5 times a year. Always a good experience for my blood draws! Showing up before they open seems to work best Tues - Thur. But if you wait till 8:30am, there are less people waiting. I highly recommend this facility. read more

Lab Corp never sends to my doctor. His office always has to call for results. Sad that Lab Corp cannot follow up.

Terrible service. Lady at desk calling out names was unintelligible and was wearing THREE masks. Contaminated pens to sign the paperwork, no disinfecting at all. ALL HAND SANITIZER DISPENSERS WERE EMPTY. The sign in from your car did not work. No place to use the QR code for rapid sign in. Tech did not wash hands between patients. No soap at the sinks in the room. Tech says "yeah we are out of sanitizer, there is a shortage." I informed her that was B.S. as you can buy it by the gallon at Walmart right down the street, if anyone actually cared about disease prevention. People everywhere in waiting room, no chairs available and children running amuck. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Especially if you are a vulnerable adult. read more

This is the worst lab experience I have ever encountered. All three times have been a waste of my time. The rudest people I've ever delt with. I don't know who they think they are, but I literally am insulted by their rudeness. Loud, rude, incompetent, jerks. You'll wait for a hour, get no text, talked down to loudly, and they never have your standing orders, and you leave mad and with nothing. Your not drs, you draw blood!! I have been fighting with Lab Corp about a bill for several months. They put me in collections even though I received a letter from them that they wouldn't until my billing is resolved. After several calls to Medicare I was told to pay $3 only. They billed me $81. Medicare provided all the necessary documentation several times to them. I spent several hours on the phone with Medicare pertaining to this issue. Unfortunately with my Medicare plan I am stuck with this POS company. PLEASE remember this. If you have a choice there are several other HONEST labs around. The terrible part about it that I can't write to them. When I call I am hold for a very long time. read more

I was so worried after reading all the reviews here! I went in and did and electronic check in, which was amazingly fast and efficient. There are three check in kiosks so have your photo is and insurance card ready! I waited maybe 10 mins and was called for my lab orders. I only waited another 5 mins to get my blood taken. Note: I came at 3:15 on a Tuesday with NO appointment. No bruising (thanks Mike)! Definitely coming back here if needed, in the future. A+ in my book. read more

This is my second visit in a week and staff has been wonderful! Helpful and less painful when getting my blood drawn. I've seen Wendy and Jennifer which they are both excellent! I recommend making an appointment so you don't have to wait as long and they are taking great precaution due to COVID-19. read more

They were very busy. It was clear they were short staffed, even with the slim staff the front desk and the phlebotomist were very pleasant.

I was concerned after seeing all the negative reviews, but I had a good experience here. I was worried because there wasn't an appointment time available online but I got there and there were only two other people waiting and I was in and out in 20 minutes including checkin. I was hesistant to go here after reading the reviews but I had a great experience. Staff was very kind, organized, and kept my information very private. The staff member assisting me was helpful and knew what she was doing. I went first thing in the morning when they opened and was out in 20 minutes. I got my results the next morning. Aisha Villa is THE BEST! I had an unsuccessful blood draw last week due to a bruised vein. I returned today to try and get my blood work done again. Another technician tried to draw from both arms, but my veins were still being stubborn. I walked out into the waiting room in tears, and Aisha (working the front desk) offered to try and draw on me. I figured why not.... she sat me down and struck gold (or blood) on the first prick! What a relief! I am so thankful for this, and will be requesting her for any future blood draw needs!! read more

The absolute worst place for lab work . Hours of waiting for a simple blood draw. My wife was in to get blood test for emergency surgery . She can barely sit because of pain. No help at all. Looks like they have 1 tech working at a snail's pace. They should be decertified or something. read more

This review is for the Val Vista location. The good: Making the appointment online was easy and effective! Once I finally got to see the nurse, she was very quick and thorough. The not so good: my appointment was for 8:45am. I was there 15 minutes early. I signed in 15 minutes early. I was not acknowledged at all - no hello, no good morning, no sorry we are running late, no eye contact, nothing - until 35 minutes past my appointment time. Then I was called up to give my paperwork and told to sit and wait again. I was told they didn't realize I had an appointment, but it was correctly noted in their system. After another 8 minutes of waiting, I was called for my blood draw. It is hard to believe they were running nearly an hour late at 8:45 in the morning. Frustrating. read more

After having a terrible experience at the Labcorp location on Val Vista in Gilbert this morning, I drove over to this location and they restored my faith in humanity. One of my tests had to be done before 10:00 a.m. and I didn't check in until 9:40. She was able to get me in just in time, they were super friendly and helpful. I normally just review restaurants, but this place pissed me off today. I had an appt at 10am and checked in at the machine around 9:45am. I get 3 texts (2 at 10:01am and 1 at 10:02am) telling me to proceed to the check-in area and that my name will be called shortly. I am already standing in the check-in area so I continue waiting for my name. Around 10:40am the receptionist guy calls my name so I go up to him. He says, "there you are, I was about to remove you from the list." I asked what he meant, and he said "I sent you 3 texts." I respond telling him I got all 3 of them and did what they said. He goes, "Yeah those are misleading. You need to come up to the desk...how else do we know you're here?" I said you know I'm here because I checked in at the check-in machine. He also mentioned that he calls out peoples' names, but this guy who has the difficult job of calling peoples' names, doesn't realize he's wearing a mask and in his little receptionist room. I would've heard him if he was doing a good job. The nice girl who did the blood draw can be heard by everyone. Also, t main waiting area also only allows 10 people max right now so who knows how many other people got stuck in his horrible process.
