This review is for the Val Vista location. The good: Making the appointment online was easy and effective! Once I finally got to see the nurse, she was very quick and thorough. The not so good: my appointment was for 8:45am. I was there 15 minutes early. I signed in 15 minutes early. I was not acknowledged at all - no hello, no good morning, no sorry we are running late, no eye contact, nothing - until 35 minutes past my appointment time. Then I was called up to give my paperwork and told to sit and wait again. I was told they didn't realize I had an appointment, but it was correctly noted in their system. After another 8 minutes of waiting, I was called for my blood draw. It is hard to believe they were running nearly an hour late at 8:45 in the morning. Frustrating. read more

Just went in for a one vial blood draw and was as pleasant as could possibly be, however parking sucks

I normally just review restaurants, but this place pissed me off today. I had an appt at 10am and checked in at the machine around 9:45am. I get 3 texts (2 at 10:01am and 1 at 10:02am) telling me to proceed to the check-in area and that my name will be called shortly. I am already standing in the check-in area so I continue waiting for my name. Around 10:40am the receptionist guy calls my name so I go up to him. He says, "there you are, I was about to remove you from the list." I asked what he meant, and he said "I sent you 3 texts." I respond telling him I got all 3 of them and did what they said. He goes, "Yeah those are misleading. You need to come up to the desk...how else do we know you're here?" I said you know I'm here because I checked in at the check-in machine. He also mentioned that he calls out peoples' names, but this guy who has the difficult job of calling peoples' names, doesn't realize he's wearing a mask and in his little receptionist room. I would've heard him if he was doing a good job. The nice girl who did the blood draw can be heard by everyone. Also, t main waiting area also only allows 10 people max right now so who knows how many other people got stuck in his horrible process. I ended up waiting an hour for my 30 second blood draw. read more

After having a terrible experience at the Labcorp location on Val Vista in Gilbert this morning, I drove over to this location and they restored my faith in humanity. One of my tests had to be done before 10:00 a.m. and I didn't check in until 9:40. She was able to get me in just in time, they were super friendly and helpful. I will go to this location for all my future lab work. Thank you. read more

The lab itself is fine. Good customer service and so far wait time is minimal. However, I signed up to use their on line portal where you can see your information like test results, appts. etc. The first time all went well but the next time, when I logged on they gave me "security" questions and all was fine till they listed a bunch of addresses and asked if I'd ever lived there - No, I hadn't. So answered No which was correct. The site said I was not who I said I was and would not let me log on. I sent them a letter explaining this (if this happens you are supposed to send a copy of your license or whatever and I think SS #). This was/is not the problem. Their information is wrong. Never lived there! Where did they get this if they think I did??? Labcorp has not answered me to even acknowledge the problem. Big Boo to them. read more

KUDOS to Edelyn here. She is the best! We request her every time as she is the only one able to get blood from my daughter who has very deep veins and traumatic previous experience with others. There is no bruising and no tears from my baby. She makes her feel comfortable including her in the conversation and keeps her mind occupied with her fantastic energy and humor. read more

Sat there for an hour just to have them call me up to see what I needed to have done today just to have them tell me that their location "doesn't do that here". The girl at the front desk sat there and literally did nothing for an hour. They need more staff and better communication. I do not recommend this location for anything. I called on Friday to pay my LabCorp bill, and I had to turn my credit card off after the third freaking time they charged me for the same bill on the same day. A 4th attempt tried to go through after I turned it off. This is absolutely ridiculous. LabCorp, you owe me money, and this better be taken care of asap. read more

HORRIBLE! 1 1/2 hours before they asked for my paperwork & then had to wait more to get called back. Nice people but location never staffed to handle the volume. Impossible to make an appointment as they are booked several weeks out which doesn't help when you just came down with something and Doc needs results quick. See if your Dr. can use SonoraQuest instead. read more

The most disfunctional phone appointment system ever. Most times it does not work correctly.... NO DIRECT PHONE NUMBER to be able to speak with a PERSON. This place is ABSOLUTELY PITS!!!! My suggestion. Find another place. Horrible! read more

This place is terrible I would recommend going to any other lab. The people here are rude and act like they are bothered to help you.They crossed my name off the list so I had to Wait even longer In order to be seen and on top of that they didn't even give me everything I needed in order to do my test correctly. They did not give me the proper instructions in order to do the test so my lab results may be altered. Heads up bring the Excedrin because you will have a migraine from being here. read more

I have been seeing an amazing doctor at this physician location, but the Lab Corp lady who works in the lab has to be the most unhappiest person on the planet, and rude as hell. While I was waiting for the receptionist to appear at the front desk, the Lab Corp lady wanted to tell me that she would not call me back if I was on the phone. Not a big deal, right. But then she proceed to negatively vomit on me in front of the entire lobby full of customers. And then decided to say "I have the power to deny you service altogether if I want to." So I said that you'd have to have a reason." Then she said no she didn't, "and I have now decided to deny you service!" All for no reason. In order to keep the doctor appointment that took me 4 months to get, I had only 20 minutes to drive to another Lab Corp across town before they closed. I arrived with 5 minutes to spare, only to see a sign posted on the door that said they did not do blood work. UGH!!! I will now have to wait another 4 months for a kidney appointment thanks to Lab Corp Broom Hilda! Warning, you should avoid her at all cost. She is wicked. read more

I have been to this location several times and really despise Labcorp as a business. The lady at the front desk has been rude and surly to people every time I have been there. I have been twice in the last month. Last time, I witnessed her being really rude to a man in a wheelchair because he could not wheel up to the window because of all the people in line. Even with an appointment, you will wait at least an hour past your appointment time. If you don't have an appointment, better plan for a half day for waiting. Unless you have thousands of dollars in your bank account available for their billing mistakes, I would avoid them. They force you to sign a sheet to bill your ATM card if your insurance does not pay. Unfortunately, they cannot be bothered to actually look at the medical cards you give them. They billed my insurance from a previous year, even though the correct medical cards were presented and typed in at the time of service. They said that was my doctor's fault, even though I came to Labcorp for the blood draw and my doctor's prescription for the lab draw did not have my insurance information anywhere on it. Labcorp said it was not their fault they did not use the insurance information I gave them. The charge was almost $1400. When I called to try to correct the situation, I had to wait 30 minutes on hold. They took no responsibility and were not apologetic at all for their mistake. They also said the insurance information I gave them was attached to the claim, but it was not on the first page, so they don't read it. Again, my fault/my doctor's fault even though they did not bill the insurance I gave them. Bottom line: Go to Sonora Quest or anywhere else for lab work. read more

Leslie is Great!!! 1-2-3 draw from my thin veins. After no-go attempts at my primary, checked the web. Found Labcorp Chandler and pre test advice. So made appointment on website, drank over 40 oz. of water in the 2 hrs. before test. Wore a coat to warm my arms, took a brisk walk, and did curls (lifting my mini shopping cart). Do make an appointment. Afternoon is better, as veins dilate more then. read more

Don't bother showing up without an appt. You will never get and you will see everyone that walks in after you with an appt sit and wait. They do state that they take in walkins, but they dont. They will call every ones name from a a list that has an appointment before you and they will not work you in. After you have sat there for an hour, and ask the unfriendly incompetent officer manager at Lab Corp when your name will be called, she will punish you for an extended amount of time and start calling people that do not have an appointment and walked in after you. This location if so poorly managed that I wonder how they stay in business. Only two Phybotonists for the 30 people in the lobby. The manager could care less. I felt sorry for the sick and elderly that had been waiting there for over two hours. Horrible company for treating people like dogs. I left without having a blood draw. Where is customer service and why are they allowing uneducated hateful employees run this company into the ground? read more
