I visited the Sonora Quest lab at 155 E Warner after my doctor recommended tests, a location that, amusingly, isn't even listed on Yelp. I asked to schedule an appointment, but the two staff behind the counter were absorbed in their phones. One finally tossed me a card with a QR code and said, "Scan this to book." I did, and arrived for my 7:30 slot, signed in at 7:25, only to be ignored until after 8:00. The same woman who gave me the card then called to request my insurance information. I pointed out my appt time, and she said I wasn't on their schedule, and hinted that multiple people were having trouble with the booking system. Frustrating, untrustworthy, unprofessional, and avoidable... bypass this location if you can zero stars! read more

I did not have a good experience here. I needed to get bloodwork done and this was the most convenient location for my schedule. I booked an appointment online and when I double checked the time on my appointment date, they somehow booked my appointment for the wrong day. I had to get back online onto their website and book another appointment! Booked the appointment and showed up to the location early. I checked in on the kiosk and was told I was there too early for my appt. I sat there for 30 minutes before being taken. The waiting room was not great, just a standard waiting area with chairs everywhere. Once taken to the back, the room where they did the blood draw was dirty and could have used a good cleaning. The phlebotomist was asking me questions about the doctor's orders and what the code was for that doctor....how am I supposed to know that? It just seemed like nobody here really knew what they were doing. read more

When I walked in, there was no one waiting. That's odd. I now know why. The tech couldn't get my blood out of either arm and got no help. I did the urine sample and there were no directions, no basket, no cubby hole. I walked down the hall and gave it to another tech that I kid you not was walking along balancing 6 pee jars stacked single. Of course my blood test results weren't complete so I had to make a 2nd appointment. I went to another location and had no issues. read more

Everytime I have come to this location the service has been over the top amazing! All of the staff is light hearted and kind and has made even the grumpiest of patients smile! I only stopped in to this location to gt a jug for a 24 hour urine. thekky do not have a receptionist. There is no one to heo0pp yoi. After 15minutes a gentleman came out and told me that I would have o sign in. I told him that I have macular degeneration and can not see the kiosk. So he signed me in. I waited for 35 miutes and my husband called from the truck. He has Parkinsons and needed to take his pill and get something to eat. You have the worst customer service that I have ever seen. And latelk that has been a lot.It is ridiculaous, that you can not go in and pick up a jug for a 24 hour urine. No, you have to make an appointment and then you have to make an appointment to dropop it off. this is one of the reasons that I go to my PCP to get labs drawn. Dimeca was extremely rude. While waiting in the lobby for a pre-scheduled appointment, to the laughter and delight of her fellow workers, Dimeca proceeded to continuously make fun, yell, and purposely mispronounce my last name. Sure, it is not an easy one to pronounce, but there is no need to continuously yell out a purposeful mispronunciation. Even while I was clearly walking up to the reception window, Dimeca continued mispronouncing my name in an effort to make her coworkers laugh. And laugh they did. Once I approached the window, I politely smiled and properly pronounced my name and stated that Dimeca could just call me by my first name. Rather than apologizing and using my first name, Dimeca then continued to loudly mispronounce my name in a comical (for her and the staff) and exaggerated manner. At this point, I gently advised Dimeca that it isn't necessary to make fun of my name, to which she replied, "It isn't necessary for me to sign you in either. You can go back to your seat." I was then punished and held back from my scheduled appointment until another staff person called me up to check my ID and insurance card. After yet another long wait, I was admitted in for my lab work. At least the phlebotomist was professional and kind. As I exited through the lobby, one of the staffers that was previously laughing at Dimeca's ill attempt at humor, proceeded to tell Dimeca, "guess who's getting another bad review?" The front office staff had another good laugh before one finally greeted me out with a "have a nice day!" If it wasn't that the lab work was needed before year end, I would have walked out. It is evident from the multiple negative reviews that the front-end staff at this location lack customer service training. Or management and corporate simply don't care. However, all is not lost. Due to this mishap, I learned that other Labs, will gladly accept a lab script even if it is made out on Sonora Quest forms. Bonus!!! And sayonara! read more

Everything was great from start to finish. Workers were pleasant and efficient and professional.

I have been to multiple lab facilities for many years now and never have I had such a bad experience. From the moment Aurelia the lab technician greeted me she was rude and unprofessional questioning the lab orders from my doctor. I noticed she was taking more blood than needed and when i mentioned it to her she ignored my request and continued to draw more blood. I asked for the supervisor to come in and double check that everything was going to get processed correctly and I come to find out the technician did in fact take multiple unused and unnecessary vials. Not only that but one of the test she did ,she did not take enough of the blue tops so Dee had to draw 4 more vials. I appreciate Dee coming in and apologizing for the mistake. I just hope the technician gets corrected for this carelessness especially after she made a comment saying she "does not play with peoples blood like that". read more

Have an appointment for 730. I arrived at 714 and checked in mind you the bar code that they use doesn't scan. I see people coming in behind me getting taken in. At 739 I ask about my appointment. The very nice lady takes my order and goes to the KIOSK. The board already said I was checked in. She responds- now you're checked in. I reply that the board shows my name. The lady at 745 who came in at 748 gets in and I'm still standing here. I don't know what the problem is here. It's 8am and I asked what the hold up was and I was told that they are trying to take people in order. Order of what? Seems like they are understaffed for the amount of volume here. Someone needs to step up and help these ladies cause they are clearly overworked. 802 and still not called. Everyone after me is getting in. read more

This is the most unprofessional Sonora Quest I've been to! Today was my second time there and I thought last time was a fluke but I guess not. The front desk staff is so rude! The elderly lady before me even told the lady she was rude. I booked an antibody test online and she told me I needed to be driving through which I knew nothing about then scolded me for not taking the symptom test when booking my appointment which I wasn't prompted to do. Then she said since my dr didn't order they couldn't do it and then came back saying I would need to pay $100. Which is it lady? I left without getting it done. read more

Most of the Sonoran labs are not a place you would want to spend any amount of time. My first visit was to a location off of Frye road and it was horrible. The amount of people waiting was astonishing. At this point they should have people check in online and wait where they would like even at home if possible and you could track where you are at in the queue of patients (I.e. your spot in line). I've been to other medical establishments that do that and it really helps limit how many people are waiting at a location or if the wait is too long you could just reschedule. I know you can select to wait in your car or wherever and get a text but on busy days when you have to show up at location and check in at your appt time and then still wait 45+ minutes it's tedious and horrible. Especially when gross people are wheezing and coughing near you and the establishment looks unorganized and dirty. I recently went to a different location in Sun lake and made a appt for 7:00 am (as recommended by Sonoran staff from my last botched appt) . It was about a week out from when I made it and it was a great decision to make as early a appt as possible. I showed up on time and the ladies at the front desk were pretty nice and the waiting room was calm. I was called up to the front in a timely manner to give information and then I was called back shortly for blood draw. I'm in and out 23 minutes. Perfect and couldn't have asked for it to be any easier. If you're complaining about having to make appt in advance or needing to Wait awhile or drive farther that's on you if you decide not to. I'm new to the area and this Sonoran lab company for whatever reason seems to be the choice of a lot of medical establishments. I wish it wasn't and I could go where I wish but you work with what you got. Book out an appt and make it the earliest you can find. Anything after 9:00am just keep looking bc it won't be worth the long wait in a dirty room with uncomfortable Chairs and overworked and assuming underpaid staff (that has to be why they look unhappy) read more

Before my last issues I would have recommended . I choose Sonora years back because of patient portal . I am required to have blood work every 6 months this time around has been a disaster not only have I made 4 calls to get them posted on portal but have been hung up on twice !!!! I don't get why they have went downhill So bad and keep using excuses as to why. Just post them and get them done !!! The attitude of the front desk people is less than stellar. I came in to get some bloodwork done. Went to the front desk because I wanted to verify that my doctor sent the lab orders, as the doctor frequently forgets, before I sat down to wait. Didn't want to sit and wait two hours just to find out the doctor didn't send any orders. I was told that I had to sit down and wait in this huge line just to find out if my doctor sent orders over, and the lady gave me the stupid customer attitude. It's too bad that Sonora quest is the only game in town, because their operations are complete garbage from top to bottom. If you come here prepare to get frustrated. read more

There were lots of patients that were rude and impatient to the front desk. The lady, Dimeca, did my blood work, and she was kind and explained to me what she was doing. Only reason I have come to this location is because is next to our home. But no more. They make appointments but can't honor them. 1 to 1.5 hours delay. Brutal when people need to fast for most blood labs. The staff in the front is rude like it's patients fault that they are running behind. I'm sad to read all of the negative reviews and feeling quite fortunate that I had the exact opposite experience. I used their website to make my appointment, which I appreciated because I could easily see what my options were and find a date and that that worked with my schedule. I arrived about 10 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment time and completed the self-check-in process, which was simple. Within a few minutes I was called up to the desk to provide my doctor's orders and insurance card. I sat down again and was called back about 5 or 7 minutes later. Maybe 4 minutes in the chair and I was on my way. Maybe they've heard the feedback and made changes or maybe I just got lucky but this was a five star experience and I do hope they can maintain this level of service. read more

I have Sonora quest office at my pcp office and they are great but don't do test I need so went to this one. Picked up my supplies , did the test at home and returned. Three ladies standing around talking looking at me like I had three heads said you have wrong container you have to do test again!!! I said you gave me this container. The staff has no sense of urgency and don't seem to care that the have a full waiting room and yet no progress to be made. No apologies, nothing. Clinical staff work very slowly. I have to admit I find it intimidating when you get online to schedule an appointment and see that they have a 2 to 3 week lead time. However, I was very pleased to be able to wait safely and comfortably in a chair outside of their door for the approximately hour and 15 minutes that it took to get a walk in lab test. So, although it required a little bit of time in this age of the virus they handled it safely and well. The phlebotomist was particularly kind, and great at her work. read more

Just came to this facility to have my blood drawn and urine sampled. I made an appointment online ahead of time and only waited 5 minutes in the waiting area. The young lady that checked me in was super friendly and professional. I was a little worried coming into my appointment because of all the bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The girl went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. My only complaint is I wish they had a hook to hang up my purse and jacket in the bathroom but thats it! read more

Went here this morning for blood work and was in and out in 20 minutes. Staff was great and friendly (even at 7:30am!) and the person who did my blood draw was fantastic! Other places always have a problem finding a vein but she did it the first shot. Tip: suggest making an appointment. The four people ahead of me had appointments. They called me a few days later to tell me that they didn't process it in the window that it's supposed to be processed within (16 hours!) and that I would have to come back. Had blood drawn for some lab tests and this Sonora Quest location was terrific. It was easy to make my appointment on line and when I arrived I was able to check in at the kiosk. Shortly after that the front desk person quickly verified my insurance info. While I was waiting I was impressed by the upbeat and friendly interaction between all the staff and the clients (as well as between themselves). My technician was Dimeca and not only was she friendly, positive, upbeat and efficient - she flawlessly and painlessly did the draw! Love this location for the folks, the fact that every time I've used it, it has not been crowded and that I'm usually in and done within minutes of my appt time! read more

Sat for 30 minutes and witnessed countless disrespect towards patients - especially elderly that could not work the auto check in --- repeatedly - the worthless, incompetent, service providers were beyond rude to each individual (including the front desk "help" to the "well trained" individual that draws blood - she seemed well trained ) I've got news for each of them - you draw blood and take piss samples - you are a joke from check in to check out - I'm glad you each took a class to do your "job", but let's be honest you are glorified help, uneducated, rude, unprofessional - and if you question my comments your overall reviews substantiate the review - I'd advised all of you to apply at Sonny's up the road on AZ Ave - you have no business working at Sonora quest and lack any professionalism and are an absolute joke - I think McDonald's on Riggs just opened - that is if any of you can handle flipping burgers or frying fries - hahahahaha! Couldn't get an appointment for the day and time my doctor told me to, so I showed up without one right when they opened at 7am. I waited just under 1 hour to be called back to have my blood drawn, with about 10-12 people ahead of me with appointments. Unlike most medical offices, the staff was helpful. So I'm a little irritated. It's hard to get a appointment for the test I needed cause it's timing is last minute. I go to this one and checked in on their Kiosk about 9:10. and they didn't review my paperwork when I first got there. I wait over an hour they finally call me up and tell me that one test needed be taken before 10am... it's now 10:23 when they call me up and they said I can come back tomorrow for the second one... I told them it had to be done today due to specific timing... so I walked out irritated. They should of looked at the paperwork when I walked in and told me then so I didn't waste my time on my day off. Stop relying on technology or your going to lose more customers. read more

Don't bother making an appointment on line. According to the rude broad at the front desk even if you do make it online it may not show up so you are basically screwed! Made the appt on Monday, earliest I could get in was Thursday. They have nothing available for the rest of the week. Minimum of 35 minute wait but I have other commitments.
