I went in for a diagnostic panel, simple blood draw and vitals, height/weight, etc. One person on staff, but there was no wait. I checked in on the kiosk and she brought me right inside immediately, knocked everything out quickly. Good job drawing blood, one quick poke with no issues. Appointment was scheduled for 11am. I've waited over 15 minutes no other patients waiting in the line bby. once inside I provided my print out order because it was my first time at LabCorp. The person that took me to the back was questioning my order as she saw something else in the system when I explained that I had a new lab order she was just focused on the order she was seeing in the system. I told her that I had the print out with the new order and even then she kept questioning and telling me that that was not it... everything was highlighted on the order. She was rude and condescending, she told me rudely that it was going to take a while to enter my order in the system and to wait outside, not the waiting are, outside. I didn't wait and when I approached her to talk to her manager she didn't provide any information just because she didn't feel like giving it to me. I do not recommend this place, she was rude for no reason and very unkind. Not sure why she works there. read more

If you need to do a drug test make sure to call and double check the hours they only have 2-2hr windows to do testing and they will make you wait till that designated time and then make you wait some more. Would not recommend them but you get told where to go for drug tests. read more

I have been using this Labcorp location for many years, but after today's visit I won't be going here anymore. The office was filthy, we are in the middle of a pandemic and it's been clear that this location has not been cleaned for months. The chairs were covered in dust and goo, the carpeting is stained and dirty, even the walls are sprayed with mystery substances and covered in dirt and marks. I can't believe this is a medical office, vulnerable people go here for testing and they can't be bothered to keep the office at a minimum level of cleanliness that shows pride in their business and respect for their customers. read more

This place is horrible. This is the second time I've come for my work wellness screening and there is absolutely no customer service. There is only one person working and even if you come right when they open the wait is well over an hour. The lady who works there is so rude and lacks any people skills. No appointment necessary. I went in around 8:45AM and was 3rd in position. I waited my turn and was taken care of in appropriate sequence. Have your dr, license, insurance card with you as well as your doctor's order. Polite & attentive staff. They know how to manage a well run office. Kudos! read more

This office visit was like my personal version of hell. I had to do a 24 hour urine test on my own, with scheduled blood work at this location at the conclusion of the 24 hours to go along with it. I was greeted with an eerily silent, small waiting room upon entering the office. So quiet that you could hear the lab employee give instructions to patients in the back. Seriously, would a little white noise or a TV showing the weather channel hurt? That was really the least of my problems, though. I had a 9:30 AM appointment, which of course I showed up a few minutes late to, and that's obviously on me. There was one person working at this location -- that's it. One person to collect payment/insurance information, do blood work, facilitate drug screens, etc. The lack of staff was apparent. Many filed into the waiting room while few left with services rendered, and everyone was in a terrible mood because of it. A half hour, then another half hour, then another half hour passed, until I finally walked up to the woman and asked her what the deal was for my appointment. She said she'd get me in after two more people, about 20 minutes. Ok, fine. I hate needles/blood work, and after sitting there worrying about it for an hour and a half already, I wanted to get it over with rather than bail. Sure enough, she calls me up to the window and asks for the order for the lab work. I wasn't prepared for this, but I had the box with my pee sample/instructions, so I gave that to her. It was at this point that she informed me that she could not do the blood work that day -- because the FedEx pickup on Saturday only comes at 11:30 AM and she wouldn't be able to get the samples out in time, or something like that. I can't find anything in my paperwork that would indicate that I couldn't do this on a Saturday. No sign hanging up in the office. There's a lot of information on the LabCorp website, so IDK, maybe there's some info on it buried there. Basically: - Did a 24 HR pee test for nothing - Fasted for ~14 hours - Sat in a creepily quiet waiting room for over an hour and a half - Was finally told that I could not do the test that I came for Will avoid in the future. read more

The staff was extremely kind to my children and made me feel at ease as I was bringing my 3 y/o in for a blood test. It hadn't gone well in the past at another office, so I was worried. It was a great experience and they got the job done! What a relief! I will go there again in the future! read more

Today (Saturday) was the worst. There was one employee to do the lab work, reception, & everything else. I had an appt & used my QR code to register. QR reader said my wait would be "approx 5-mins." About 15-minutes into waiting, the people in the overcrowded waiting room began discussing their wait times. One person stated over 1-1/2 hrs, another 1 hr &several others 30-45 minutes. New people kept walking in, heard waiting clients say how long they had been waiting and walked back out. There also were people who registered who walked out. Another person who registered when he came in had a QR reader confirmation that stated his wait would "be a few seconds" (complete fabrication there). After I waited 40-mins, I asked the Lab Corp employee if she was going to honor appointments. She said she was honoring them but then realized she had missed mine. She was apologetic & got me in shortly after. Her lab skills were fine & appreciated at that point. I felt terrible for her & the clients waiting for her help. The Elgin location on Randall Road has some serious customer service issues. I have attempted to get my lab work done at this location multiple times and have had issues every time. The employee is rude and obviously has no idea what customer service or empathy means. I have been turned away for multiple items including that she said my orders were not acceptable because they were printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper instead of a prescription pad. I don't know what other doctors use, but all of mine use printers and I have seen a prescription pad since the 90's. I thought I would try once again today and again she turned me away because my last date of service from my doctor was over 6 months ago, but the orders said to get the lab work done in 6 months 1 week before my next appointment which it clearly stated was on 2/6/14. It's interesting that I don't have these issues with any other labs or technicians. Also, she wrote all over my orders so I can't even use them somewhere else. Which now means that I have to cancel my appointment with my doctor next week to wait for new orders so I can go to a different lab. Unfortunately I always seem to get her... Last year she got into an argument with my doctor's office because of the paper the orders were on. This is absolutely ridiculous. I understand that there are policies and procedures that every company has, but she has no idea how to convey those in a friendly unabusive manner. I cannot be the only person that has problems with her. She is causing them to lose business. read more
