Seriously understaffed at this location. Came in at 10.50am and was lucky to get out by noon. They have music blasting in the collection area that is somewhat off putting. The line waiting for one person to take lab work is unbelievable. Looks like she's not only taking the collection but also in the lab processing it for pickup in between customers who are waiting. I used this LabCorp facility to get general blood work done. I walked into an empty waiting room at 13:48, signed myself in on the iPad, sat down for maybe 30 seconds and was called back by a receptionist to go over what labs I needed. She told me I was good to go to the back and I only sat maybe for a minute before getting my blood drawn. The staff was friendly and there was no wait whatsoever. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had to sign a form saying I could possibly be billed a copay of $109.00 for the blood work. (Which never happens) The most I've ever had to pay was $7.00 with my insurance. I left at 14:01, in and out! There are a lot of older people in this area and this place is probably packed with them at peak times so keep that in mind. read more

I had an appointment and still had a bit of a wait. This place is incredibly understaffed. Even if you have an appointment (which is the only way to go) you have quite a wait due to understaffing. Still not as long as if you didn't have an appointment. I got my blood drawn and was given a specimen test to take home. I had to complete the test at home and return to Labcorp to drop it off. I had to sign in and wait another 45 minutes just to drop off a specimen. You would think they would have another way for people to drop off specimens. I had to wait for all the lab patients to be signed in before they would take my specimen. I think this is ridiculous. Most of the ladies who work there are nice except for one with red hair who is extremely rude and snarky to patients. She should not treat people like that or get away with doing so. She is rude to you as soon as she has to deal with patients. If you don't like your job, quit. Not who I would want working for me that's for sure. If I didn't have to go there due to my insurance, I definately wouldn't. read more

I was at the Forked River Lab Corp this morning. I was served by a very pleasant woman at the desk, so sorry I didn't get her name. She had a beautiful ring that I commented on. The ring was a band that had stones all around it and she was at the left desk. There was a flurry of activity that I observed while waiting in the back. All units were full. I thought to myself how dedicated these woman are as they are striving to serve all people with respect and efficiency. Mine was Kelly. She was remarkable, hardly felt a pinch and she filled the many tubes quickly and expertly. I told her that I would like to put a big sign up acknowledging all the hard work I witnessed this morning. She gently laughed and was so appreciative. Hats off to all those at the FR Lab Corp today for a difficult job done superbly!!! read more

As far as the staff goes in the office very nice and pleasant. But mu test results never made it to my Dr. as I was told they would. Now I need to take another day off work, and go over my blood work with my dr. not what I was looking to do. read more

Warning! Watch out. This lab is way overpriced and will take advantage of you. I am the HR Director for a national company with employees across the country. I deal with many labs that handle our pre-employment drug screens and work comp claims. This company charged one of our employees 4 x the going rate for a drug screen. I called to ask why the rate was so high and was given a fax # to send my notes to their research department. So the answer I was given was sorry you are going to be billed $388.00 to do a 7-panel drug screen and you can fax your complaint to our research dept and basically nothing will change. We will never again use this lab. They have officially been placed on my Do Not Call list. read more

So today 6/24/2015 I went in to get some blood work done, waited from 7 AM until 8:10 to finally be called on, but that was not the bad part. The receptionist and women who took care of my paper work were wonderful, there was a issue with the spelling of my last name on my script but I was told that would not be an issue, so I walk to the back of the building where the blood work is done, I see a male and female phlebotomist, the guy was really nice laughing with the other patients.. I wanted to get the female so I wouldn't be nervous, knowing they were taking over 6 viles of blood from me I was a bit anxious. The female calls on me, I walk into the room. She was a middle aged woman.. gold hair.. raspy smokers voice..glasses I didn't get her name unfortunately but that is a excellent description of her. First question, how do you spell your last name. I let her know there was a misspelling on my last name, that was when she took it from rude to nasty. She informed me she would get fired and lose her license (as if she went to school for years) because my name was spelt wrong when I was told other wise at the desk. As I was waiting for over an hour, my next response was "Are you f***ing serious, I've been waiting over an hour" Her only response was "That's real classy" I never in my life been spoken to so disrespectfully by a healthcare worker. Her lack of intelligence was interesting, but I guess that's how you act when you're a single middle aged woman that never went to college now working for an hourly wage. Pathetic lady, but everyone else was professional. read more
