Was very skeptical going to this location given the reviews, but was very impressed. I checked in on the kiosk as a walk in, and probably waited around 25-30mins. The lady at the desk was kind, and made sure she had all my paperwork, confirmed my check in info. The tech that drew my blood was nice and drew my blood quickly - they usually have a hard time with my veins but she only poked me once! This is a very questionable place. I waited in the waiting room while my husband got blood work done. The condition of the waiting room makes me question just how sterile and clean is this place. Walls that needed to be painted, chairs that need replacing, garbage on the floor, stains on the carpet, ripped up carpet. It makes me wonder what is going on here. I would not go this one if you can avoid it. read more

Ok- the 2 stars are for LABCORP itself. Not necessarily the people who work at this location. Labcorp needs to get with the times! Update your lab order systems please to electronic! Figure out a way to make your system get all these orders in electronically from Dr's. I get hives going here every week watching the employees running around like chickens searching through paperwork and faxes. Mind you many peoples faxed orders never come through. This includes me, but I'm also witness to others with my same predicament. I just bring the copy with me now to help save time. Lines are long!! They only have 1-2 phlebotomists working and sometimes one of them is the front desk person. Please hire more people. It's chaos. Finding appointments online, is nearly impossible. 2 of my 3 visits I waited over an hour past my appt time just to be seen. One more note- I have never had a bad blood draw in my life ( I am 49) until my first visit here in May. The person was nice, but she jammed that needle in me so hard like she was brining a turkey for thanksgiving. It burned and stung and hurt the entire draw. I was grimacing. I didn't know what happened but it must have been that the needle was too big, and then the way she stabbed me with it. My other two blood draws have been fine :). Unfortunately, I will have to endure these weekly visits for a while. My advice is to come prepared with your lab order in hand, an appt if you can find one, a book and a fully charged phone. read more

Previous to this closure the lab and personal were excellent. I had a scheduled lab draw, receive a message the week before my appointment, a second one the weekend before, and a text to acknowledge my appointment day and time. I was suprised when I arrived and the site was closed. No one called, sent a message or acknowledged I would need to go to the Avondale site, and when I called they could not accommodate the lab draw. How could you not contact those that had scheduled appointments!!!! Someone missed the mark on this one. read more

Usually any labcorps I go to its easily an hour wait. I went in today expecting to wait an hour & @10am I got there I waited with only 2 people ahead of me. I waited 10 minutes tops and also the gentleman who took my blood made it so quick and simple. Probably the best labcorp ive been to so far. Maybe I was lucky lol but 10am on a Wednesday may be the perfect time to go. Also everyone was very kind. read more

Unless you get here when they open you're in for an hour and a half wait minimum. My wife and I went and came back with a lovely case of Covid. I will say this, the woman who draws blood there is extremely good at getting that done. They need either more staff or another branch. I would also recommend a total wipe down in the lobby which is typically jam packed. This is another case of excellent staff being hampered by not having enough help. read more

Check in kiosk was fine. Worked great I did NOT have an appointment and came during lunch. Front desk staff said wait should be 30 minutes. I was called up almost exactly 30 minutes later and was done with blood draw in 10 minutes. Phlebotomist was very good and professional. read more

They had their miserable look on, shouldn't be so bad and uncomfortable just to get blood drawn. 01/13/22 Goodyear location 13555 w McDowell Rd #208 I'm extremely Concern about labcorp I had a medical emergency today in the lobby I asked the front desk lady Isabella two times for HELP I informed her that my sugar was dropping below 43 I was getting confused shaky My body was starting not to respond Properly I was about to pass out (ALL SHE SAID TO ME WAS I'M SORRY CAN'T HELP YOU) until think God for the other patients around me that noticed the situation And got some help by them. Update: finally got called back. Technician apologized for the wait and said they were understaffed and that the technician checking people in was new. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I do not recommend this office at all! Unorganized, understaffed, lack of knowledge from whoever was at the front desk. Had a set appointment time, checked in using the online system. Received a text that my technician was ready to see me. Proceeded to the office, checked with office staff, was told to wait and would be called up. After a few minutes I was called up, was told that I would be seen in a few minutes. Received another text that my technician was ready to see me. After waiting for almost an hour I went up to the window and asked why I had an appointment time when it was pointless to have one. Well I was now no where on the schedule for the day. So frustrating! I watched several people come in after myself and get called back. One person was charged a high fee and was told oops are bad that should have been billed to the insurance first. Checked in with fear and trepidation, but was met by the kindest, most professionally capable phlebotomist, Johnny, who upon my arrival, didn't hesitate to help me figure out how to use the check in machine contraption. And then, on to sitting in a special chair for the bloodwork, I was surprised by how quick -- barely felt a thing -- no hurt! And how wonderful his devoted consideration: felt so blessed! All done so fast, a lovely young lady behind the desk also welcoming, and then I was on my way! The minus star is because as a newbie, I'd no idea the distant location -- far down long hallways to that office. And, as an older elder, I'm currently hobbling with a cane because of a challenging 'Ouwie!' hip. But when I get my 'bionic hip', looking forward to my next bloodwork trip. read more

But then this lady sits there and just stares at the computer for like an hour (I'm exaggerating btw) with my I'd and I'm just like is there a problem. Finally she gives me back my I'd and koo we get called back in minutes nice! But then I still haven't received any calls or any emails about my results! All I needed was X-rays for my sons hand. My appt for my 11year old son was at 745am, and we checked in from the car in the parking lot around 730am. Got a text a few minutes later to come up and check in with lab tech. Got to the front desk and the lady that helped us was really nice. They confirmed our insurance to make sure the doc put the correct insurance on lab work. We were seated and waited about 5 more minutes to be called. Our lab tech was really nice and walked my son through everything since he was nervous. Overall we had a great experience. However I felt bad for the ladies at front desk because there was a rude patient and that kinda crap should not be put up with at 730 in the morning. read more

I've been dealing with this office for years, and today is the last time. The front desk receptionist is ALWAYS rude and I haven't paid much attention before, but today she was exceptionally rude. I tried to sign paperwork as power of attorney for my father (I always bring a copy with me), but the receptionist yelled at me and said the paperwork had to be exactly as on his IDs. Well guess what, my dad's writing looks nothing like it did before - his hands shake constantly and he is uncomfortable writing. She could have calmly explained the paperwork to me instead of yelling and being rude. I had him sign the paperwork and didn't even get an acknowledgement from the receptionist when I was finished. She also quietly called for another patient who was waiting, and he didn't hear her until the second time she called his name, then she started YELLING his name as though she was getting more impatient. LabCorp seriously needs to replace this woman, she is a horrible representative for their company. I was a receptionist for many years and NEVER spoke to or treated people the way this woman has. I've noticed this office is less busy than it has been in years past. There's a good reason for that. After being treated this way today, I will never return to LabCorp. If my insurance or my parents' insurance doesn't cover SonoraQuest, I'll happily pay the cash prices there to never have to deal with this crap again. read more

I get that Covid is going on and there are hundreds of people being tested daily at this location, but to make us schedule appointments, then not honor that appointment time, is baffling. I showed up at 9:55 for my 10:00am appointment. I enter into the building and there are about 50 people stuffed into a hallway. Half of them have been there since 9am waiting for their test. I purposely made an appointment because I had to get a babysitter to watch my kids. There was no way I could stay there for over 2 hours waiting to be seen. If I didn't have Covid before, I probably have it now after waiting in that hallway with all those people. I ended up leaving at 10:30am because I was never called back. I have never had such a rude phlebotomist in my life this woman is just rude rude rude she seems angry has no people skills and should not be working in the industry she's in because of her attitude bad attitude very very bad. This is my first time here and my last time here she just is a bad bad person can't believe they hire people like this and and expect them to treat the public like they do. I don't know her name but she was the only African-American. Step by step. 1. I entered the the office and signed in, nobody greeted me. The person above asked if I had paperwork I said no, two different Doctors sent in there lab slips. She said "how" I said I don't know which caused her to give me a sarcastic look. I said I have an appointment and registered on line with all of my information, she said nothing and then said have a seat. Next I hear " George room 2" I go to room 2 to find Mrs wonderful waiting for me. 2. She did not confirm the orders. 3. She immediately prepared my arm for the blood draw, I stopped her to point out my vein runs in an odd direction. She immediately got upset and said " you touched the vein now I have to clean it again" I said "I don't want you to stick me in an angle because you'll go right through it" she said "I've been doing this for years I know what I'm doing" I let her stick me and she got the vein in her first try. Kudos. 4. She did not confirm my information on the tubes of blood. 5. She wrapped my arm with a bandage and said"keep this on for 10 minutes" and that was it. This is the 3rd time that LabCorp has NOT forwarded the lab results to the doctor .......this means I waste my time and the doctor"s time in an appointment to discuss the lab results. My doctor appoinmtnet is ony about 10 minutes long and the nurse has to call LabCorp and usually told the results will be sent later that day. Why the hell is so difficult in forwarding the lab results to the medical center that ordered the blood work ???? read more

Some times the wait is long, but most of the time it is a pretty fast (15 to 20 mins). Make sure you have your paperwork with you or MAKE sure your doctor electronically send it. The phlebotomist is very VERY good. I have rolling and bad veins, she is always able to get it with ONE poke and I don't have a huge bruise afterwards either! Thank you for being gentle!! read more

Went in for scheduled lab work and waited for 2 hours. The office is small with 6 places to sit. I stood the entire time so others could sit. I get Covid protocols but there is room for a few more chairs. Do yourself a favor and get your lab work done elsewhere if possible unless you are fine with waiting hours on end even with an appointment. Only one person was on-site drawing lab work. read more

These are literally the WORST people around!!! I have to go into this place for bloodwork, and mind you this is already a STRESSFUL and ANXIETY RIDDEN ordeal so I'm stressing out and trying to get there on time. I accidentally parked in an employee parking space and noticed as I was locking my car. I'm not even kidding you, as I'm standing there locking my car people start yelling at me. I told them I see it and get back in my car to move. With the kind of day I'm having, of course my car now doesn't start. I call my husband to try and see if he can walk me though how to check the car and a lady pulls up next to me, demands I roll down my window and starts yelling if I can't read or something. I told her I was trying to move my car and my my car won't start, she told you better figure it out! Like ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Horrible wait times unless you catch them at the right time. There have been staff that certainly made you feel they're doing you a favor. Most techs are very good. Met a nice couple this morning at 10:30 who had been there since 7:30 just getting a blood test. I opened the door, saw no chairs empty and left. I'm going to try and make an appt and see how that goes. I'm not waiting two hours or more for a procedure that takes less than a minute. Had to get some blood work done and had to come here. So for shits and giggles I looked up reviews to see how my visit might go. Well none of the reviews wanted me to go here but I still had to get this visit done. Went in thinking I might have to put on my mean muggin face and fierce attitude but walked in and none of that was needed. The ladies I interacted with just seemed like they were there to do their job and get shit done. Especially since they get tons of people a day and they were also short staffed, Which is totally understandable. Over all visit was good. This place clearly has a lot of negative reviews, so I've felt the need to give my personal experience. My wife, who has EXTREME anxiety when it comes to needles/blood work, needed to have her blood drawn at this location. We were promptly checked in as a walk-in and although the lobby was full, we got called back quickly. I was concerned that we get the best Phlebotomist, as my wife's veins are extremely small/hard to find (people often miss), however, Diane definitely met my high expectations. Diane was a calming/great bedside manner and was definitely skilled with her draw. She was able to get the vein on the first attempt (critical) and was quick to collect the samples. After the blood draw, my wife did pass out (through no fault of Diane/Labcorp), however, Diane was quick to offer water/ice packs as my wife woke up/recovered. I cannot say enough about Diane, if we need future bloodwork we will definitely visit this location and request Diane!!! read more

Do Not recommend this place. Front desk receptionist is never friendly or welcoming. In fact she is flat out rude and unprofessional to patients. The back staff isn't any better. They don't even have common courtesy to come to the lobby to get the patients; they just Yell out the patients name and say room 1 or whatever room it is. My mom went in for blood work and they refused to do it until she gave them a urine sample, and told her that was their policy. She was able to give them a little urine sample however they said it wasn't enough to use. Needless to say we walked out. Nobody should ever be treated the way they treat patients. read more
