Went there two weeks ago for Lyme disease test. Still waiting. My doctor's office called them a few days ago, I tried calling today and couldn't get past the bot. Had to drive out there with $5 a gallon gas to see if they could get me some answers. Lady had the nerve to tell me to calm down. I was upset yes, but was not yelling, cursing or abusive in any way. Finally got her to call someone and they said there was a delay and wouldn't have the results until the following Monday. Seriously? We're talking possible Lyme disease, not routine blood work. No apologies, nothing. Go to Meritus. read more

I went to Labcorp for a few specific blood tests needed for my new doctor and was extremely annoyed with the place as soon as I walked in. There is nothing that says one you have to have an appointment, two that there are "lunch" hours on their website. I finally get a person to take my blood and as a needlephobe I tell her my best place for a draw especially when they were doing 6 viles today. She said and I quote "I know how to do my job" I said okay however it didn't stop there. I went to help hold the cotton down as she put on the bandage and again got rudeness back. I was really suprised. The woman that usually draws my Husband and my blood at our family practice is wonderful. I will not be going back to this location and will discuss alternatives in the future. I though patient care is the top priority I guess not. Extremely let down read more

Does not report lab results to doctor requesting the lab work. I've been refused prescription renewals because doctor's office claims I never had the lab work updated - e.g. lab work done in May 2020; in August 2020 refused renewal of prescription because they hadn't received results and thought I had not had it done; again in December refused renewal of scrip due to not having received results from the May 2020 lab work. Apparently this is normal operating procedure for this particular office; I cannot go elsewhere because this is the only office in Hagerstown that my insurance will cover. I previously used Meritus labs and had absolutely no problems. read more

waited on hold for over 15 minutes. Trying to get results faxed to my doctor. There is no reason for this. NONE

I wish I could give this lab ZERO stars people!! Alas yelp doesn't allow it. I had to go get some routine lab work done, and due to insurance red tape this was the place to go. Their hours are from 7am and I arrived at 7:08am to find a couple waiting, and no one at the reception desk. I went ahead and signed in and filled out a short form. 20 minutes later a lady came from the back to the desk, and a male patient left. I greeted her and was going to let her know I had already checked in, and was curtly advised to sit down, she would be with me once she was ready. I waited for half an hour before I was called back. Evidently she is the only employee there!! She was also coughing almost constantly. Once in the drawing room, I quickly realized she had started to handle the blood drawing equipment without any gloves. When I inquired about stuff being sterile, she became infuriated and started yelling at me. She then threw down the equipment she had in hand and went to the sink area to wash her hands. As she prepared to draw my blood she very condescendingly named item by item how everything was sterile. I noticed she was wearing only 1 glove when she touched my arm to find the vein. She then put the other glove on and drew the blood. I would not return to this lab if my life depended on it, which means driving to Frederick, MD for any further tests. read more

I agree with mcbealer - but maybe even less than zero. Worst experience ever trying to get lab work done. I needed lab work prior to a Cath which my cardiologist told me on Friday afternoon that he wanted to do on Tuesday or Wednesday. I arrived at this office at about 7:40 this AM (Mon, Feb 6, 2012) to find 1 person behind the desk, the waiting room was cold and dreary, and the one employee was far less than helpful, coughing or grunting constantly, and saying only "sign in". After I had signed in, one man came in and went to the window and he was told to go back right away. I thought maybe he had an appointment and I didn't, so I didn't say anything. (I have to assume that the woman behind the desk was doubling as receptionist and phlebotomist since the receptionist's office was empty while the man was getting his bloodwork done.) Then another couple came in and signed in, sat down and waited. When the woman was finished with the first patient, she called the husband from the couple to the window, took his paperwork, and told him to go on back. She then proceeded to talk to the wife and take her paperwork. During her conversation with the wife, the lady behind the counter finally noticed me and asked me "Sir, have you signed in?" WTF????!!!!! I was steamed and I told her yes I had signed in and that at this point, I only had a question for her - Would my Dr. be able to get the results right away because of the procedure being done on short notice? She looked at my paperwork and simply said "24-48 hours". Without saying another word, I walked out and drove another 21 miles to the Baughmans Lane location in Frederick where I was greeted by a very helpful receptionist with a smiling face in a warm, brightly-lit office. After I explained my predicament to her, she called my Dr's office and got the ok to put a "rush" on the order. (What's so hard about that?) Anyway, needless to say, I will never go to that Mill St. place again! I would rather stay hungry a little longer, spend the extra time, and burn the extra gas to drive to Frederick and be treated with a little bit of respect and dignity! Labcorp needs to replace that woman with someone who knows at least the basics on how to treat customers. Obviously, we are a bother to the one who's there now! read more

This is by far the worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. Wow. I walked in. There was no "hello", just a "how can I help you?" The person at the front who "greeted" me rolled her eyes at me because I asked her what she needed from me when I told her my lab order had been sent over by my doctor. Then there was silence. I was asked to follow one of them to the back. I was told to take a seat. I HAD TO ASK WHICH arm! I sat. She took the blood...she stared at me while she took it. She put a band on my arm. She said "have a nice day". It was so cold and unfriendly. Very sad. read more

I normally wouldn't leave a review, but after reading the horrendous reviews, I felt compelled to leave one... I booked my appointment online for 2 pm, I showed up at 1:15... They had me in and out in less than 20 minutes... Very prompt and attentive service..The front desk attendant was very polite, the nurse that collected my sample was even nicer... The building did not reek of cigarette smoke... I couldn't have been happier with the experience and would suggest that anyone who needs to go there disregards the posts about this place not being up to par... read more

My experience in Feb '12 was as bad as the previous reviewers'. Incompetent receptionist who made two errors typing my data into their computer. The guy who took my blood did seem competent. But then no test results were sent to my doctor until I made phone calls after six days. My insurance now requires me to use Labcorp, apparently because they charge a little less than other labs. But if you can possibly use another lab, I recommend that you do so. read more

OK, I have to be fair... I have continued to go to LabCorp because it is close to my home, and it is the preferred lab of my insurance company. It is much cleaner now without the musty smell. Still nothing in the bathroom, but I found out this is due to the drug testing they conduct. The staff has warmed up too, always pleasant to me now, and they are very good at getting my tiny veins. It's not right to only complain, and not give credit when someone has improved their service. read more

I needed a drug test for my new job, and this was the place they made me go to. The place was hard to find. No signs on the small building. I arrived at 2pm. The lady at the desk looked like she needed a drug test. She looked at me like I just woke her up. I had papers, but she ignored them and ignored me until I said "excuse me" and told me to sign in and sit down. Almost 3pm I was called in to do the urine test. I had a different lady who was a little nicer. I heard the other lady tell a patient that she felt like hell, and was sooo tired. Not a professional place at all. I hope I never have to go there again! read more
