You never forget for a moment that you're "on the clock." The good news is that procedures and testing that were once outsourced are now conducted in-house with most results available next day. He is very professional, respectful, courteous and friendly. The medical staff is always professional, courteous and responsive. All of my appointments made have always been on time or within 5 minutes of the time appointment was for. Dr Platzman has been and will always be my primary physician even though I live in Florida now. When we return to visit our family and grandkids in NJ I still maintain my well being checkups as well as not feeling well visits. The Doctor is a 5 star recommendation for me!

My husband also sees Dr. Samaddar and I generally see Dr. Kakarla. We have no complaints and I am surprised to see the negative reviews. The office has always been competent with insurance billing and I've never had an issue getting a referral when I've needed one. They also have a nurse who takes blood on-site at the time of your annual physical and it gets sent to the lab required by your insurance plan. We have always been able to get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe when sick. There was only one time that I recall having to go to an urgent care center, and that was for the best since my son needed to have x-rays done. Overall, an excellent practice!

The assistant to the anesthesia was very rough in the way he handled me and especially when he quickly inserted a "bite block" (?) as part of the prep of the endoscopy. Awoke from procedure (anesthesia) finding that more than 2 of my teeth were broken during the procedure and the repairs soon after cost me nearly $4000 in dental work. The anesthesiologist stated that this is a known risk to the procedure and that I signed forms acknowledging such damage as a possibility.. I had no idea that I signed such a release. The most biased political network is on in a medical facility? Why? Ridiculous. In for a fasted procedure early (uggh) in the afternoon I waited 45 minutes by that news spewing TV before I was finally taken into the surgical area. There I was put in a bed and I was in there for another hour before my procedure. So for a no eat food before your procedure I was forced to wait 40 plus hours before completion. WAY too long. If you have the option look elsewhere. If not, grin and bear it. The in pre-op, op, and post op care quality is excellent but...management needs to look at some QC, stat.

I arrived at the time of my appointment. I planned to arrive 15 mins early, but due to several areas of roadwork on the way there I made it right on time. When I walked in the receptionist told me that I'm expected to be there 30 mins early and she's not sure they can even take me anymore. Another woman walked in after me for an appt at the same time, and the receptionist sighed loudly and put her head down in disgust. She called someone on the phone and complained about how we just showed up and asked if they could still take us. They said yes. It then took the same receptionist approximately 5 mins to check me in and send me back for imaging. While I understand it takes time to check people in and it helps if patients are early I can't comprehend telling someone who shows up on time that they might not get seen. I would expect being told there may be a wait. The front desk staff are unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. If they have issues that require patients to be that early they should book appointments according to that time. I'm honestly not sure I will come back here next year. It's unfortunate because the techs are amazing, kind and friendly.

Yes, I got the text to "please arrive early" and did the best I could and would have made it a little earlier if it wasn't for the heavier than expected traffic. They should make the appt time 15 minutes earlier than the actual "table time" and not cause unnecessary delay in testing or make the customer reschedule their lives because of their inadequate scheduling system. I was allowed to get my Bone scan and that tech told me it was because they are "short staffed today" so that's the reason, I thought to myself, not what I wanted to hear. Waited another half hour once I arrived. Then I was not seen by a doctor. The "clinician" who saw me had zero understanding that PAIN makes one cranky and I was upset about all of the above. She got up and stormed out within 2 minutes. I phoned subsequently and asked for a manager to call me back. Never got a call! They obviously just do not CARE!

I came here for my first mammogram and ultrasound of the surrounding tissues. I was here for hours and I mean HOURS. I'd say at least three. It was awful. First they had me change to a gown and wait in a small waiting area. I was there for an hour before I was seen. I got my mammogram by the sweetest tech ever. She was the only good part of this visit. Then I was told to wait back in waiting area with gown on to get the ultrasound. ANOTHER HOUR went by. Finally I was taken to get the ultrasound. I got it done by another technician who afterwards told me I was waiting for the radiologist doctor to come talk to me about my results. I waited, not joking, at least 40 minutes waiting in a gown sitting on the edge of an exam table for the doctor who never showed. The technician came back in and said the doctor was busy talking to someone so she, the technician, would tell me my results. That's unbelievable, especially considering I was in there because I felt a lump and was worried sick. The results she gave were just that it's fine and to keep a watch on it etc. I was finally sent home after 3+ hours of being here. Absolutely appalled at the treatment I received here. I was in there scared and just told essentially the doctor is too busy for me and I was given a partial report of my results. I left traumatized and upset. I'd never recommend going here to anyone.
