After a failed attempt at scheduling an appointment, she said it was not the correct line and not what she does. Not sure why she didn't mention that at the beginning of the call. If this is how it is scheduling a simple appointment then I don't want to see how they handle the rest.

That is the first thing which should be done in any medical practice. They remain onetime with the schedule. They explain the test and put the patient at ease. I guess I sounded pretty freaked out because the receptionist was very understanding and didn't question whether I actually had a flat tire. It probably helped that during the phone call, the fire station sirens started blaring, the garage doors opened, two fire engines began pulling out of the station with their lights flashing, and a bunch of firemen began screaming at me to get the hell out of their way. I ended up pulling over to the side of the street and changing the tire myself. But by the time I was done, it was too late to make it to my appointment. As soon as I returned home, I called to reschedule. The receptionist was very sympathetic. Apparently, she'd heard the firemen screaming at me and refused to charge me for being a no-show. I've been using Hillsborough Radiology for medical imaging for over 20 years now, and have always been treated by all staff with this same level of compassion and respect. Unclear what the deal is with all the 1-star reviews. I've only had positive experiences with the staff at this facility.

I did arrive late and Ms. Brittany said no worries that I would be next. I was so happy because I didn't want to reschedule. When I arrived the office was warm and Ms. Brittany was very friendly. We had a couple of side bar conversations about the state of the world we live in. It was nice to just talk to someone. The process for the procedure was seamless. My paperwork was partial complete so it took me no time to finish. After waiting I was quickly seen by the technician. She was very personable and sweet. She explained the procedures and what I needed to do to get great images. During the process I fell asleep. She told me one of the images had to be done because I moved. I knew I had moved when I woke myself up. She redid it and within 5 minutes I was done. She then explained that a copy would be sent to MRCP and I asked for a copy. She did the copy of images literally in 3 minutes. By the time I came back from the restroom she was done. This was a easy experience and if I ever need an MRI I am most definitely coming here and you should too.

Then today March 2026 I'm notified that THIS company has sent me to collections for a $415 bill that appeared out of nowhere. There's no charge or trace of this bill on my actual hospital bill/receipt. In the months that have passed they have never contacted me or made it known in anyway that I had a bill with them despite having access to all of my contact information, address included. It's as if the bill appeared out of thin air. I called customer service hoping for access to more information on this charge and (as is my right) the option to pay with my insurance, I was denied both immediately. I was told there was no way for me to access the bill or ANY information with University Radiology despite them being responsible for the charge, I was denied the option to pay with my insurance and was told I had no choice but to pay the $415 to the debt collectors ( Remex inc) who also provided no information on this sudden charge and is leaving no option but to pay off the bill TODAY . As someone who now has to cough up almost $500 for a mystery charge or suffer bad credit I seriously recommend avoiding any hospitals working with them you can check who they work with on their website at the bottom of the page.

I've been going to Red Bank Radiologists for the past 25 years or so. I have never had a bad…read moreexperience. The office is extremely clean and the staff is courteous and experienced. I feel that I am in very good hands and the communication is there. They usually don't let me leave until they have reviewed my mammogram so that I could feel peace of mind. They also send a written report to me and my doctor on a timely basis. I find that the equipment is totally up-to-date and I can depend on its accuracy.
