Arrived at this location for lab work for my primary care doctor. Upon entering, the lobby area was clean and bright. Went up to the only working check-in kiosk and checked in. Five minutes later a lab tech came and got me. The tech drew my blood without any issues and I was on my way in under fifteen minutes. Michelle is extremely rude and unprofessional. I drove 30 minutes to this location for my appointment because it was the only Labcorp opened on Saturday. They didn't have the supplies needed to draw one of my lab test. When I asked why wasn't I notified, Michelle said, 'We don't have to notify you of anything'. She told the lab technician to cancel all of my labs and told me to "Get out!" read more

Rudest, snottiest employees. Whatever happened to customer service? If you close at 4 for last patient don't have 430 prominently listed on your door. When I knocked to ask about times i was told we close at 4 which is fine, but don't follow up with attitude and a sarcastic "byeee ma'am" while other co-workers snickered in background. so unprofessional! Love the check-in kiosk - no knocking on window and waiting and waiting anymore. Even easier when you make an appt online, then just scan the QR in the text they send you. Very friendly and professional tech who was so good at inserting needle for blood draw that I didn't even feel it go in and not the slightest bit of pain when changing out tubes. Yay! That IS most important when having blood drawn. Facility is clean. Wait time was minimal. All in all, very good experience at this location. read more

The lady on the phone told me on Saturday mornings I might want to get there around 7:45 and that there will already be a line. She was right and I was the third in line when I got there around 7:40. The first person was seen right away when they opened the doors at 7:55. The lady at the desk was friendly and was making jokes with everyone. I was back within a few minutes and had to stay for three hours to complete a three hour glucose screening. They have a separate waiting area for people who are waiting on more lab work which as recliners, blankets and a TV. The whole staff was so nice and friendly to me since I was with them all morning. Everyone was professional and there wasn't a crowd so it was a slow morning. Not sure if it is like that on a regular basis but this was the best Lab Corp I've been to and having to be there all morning I saw it all. read more

This location is going from bad to worse. I come for lab work at least 4 times a year. For a short period of time they were organized but efficiency didn't last. I always make an appointment to reduce the probabilities of waiting too long. It seems it doesn't matter whether you have an appointment or not. They changed their process where you wait in the main waiting room until called. Then you come in and they enter your data. Afterwards, you go to a second waiting room until you get called again. Result? Even longer wait. Unfortunately my insurance only works with Labcorp. First world premiums, third world service. I'm back on 9/22/17 and if I thought this locations couldn't get worse, I was wrong. They took the first patient 30 minutes after they opened. That was 30 minutes ago and they barely called the second person! Who manages these labs? Extreme inefficiency! read more

I tried for two weeks for this office to coordinate with my primary physician. The doctor faxed the paperwork twice but each time I went to the crowded lab office, all I got was a wide-eyed, overwhelmed tech who could not seem to find the fax either time. I finally had to go to another lab to get the work done on time. read more

When there is a sign on the window that says not to knock on the window but to sign in at the kiosk you know you are in trouble. The epitome of non customer service oriented. Then I expressed that I had difficulty checking in on the kiosk and the guy said I don't know why that could be and closed the door. I suggest taking my business elsewhere. read more

Pleasant staff, very accommodating, and entertaining. I came early and the lovely staff member had said that they usually do not start drug testing until noon, but she had started the process and was able to get me in and out quickly. The back staff members were very entertaining as they kept me laughing discussing their daily life. I will definitely return and recommend this site for my future lab/drug testing needs. read more

I've never been to a place this unprofessional. The receptionist had headphones on listening to her audiobook while checking in patients. Once I arrived I waited 30 minutes before I could check in then post 15 more minutes I was told their fax machine has not been working for the last two days therefore they do not have a fax order from my doctors office. As the receptionist lady hands me my ID she puts her headphones back on (which was connected to her iPhone) and proceeded to listening to her audiobook. I asked if there was another way to get my doctors orders but at that point she zoned out acted like I wasn't there,totally ignored me or perhaps couldn't hear me because of her audiobook. I called my doctors office and requested my lab order to be sent to Quest diagnostics on Hargrave. I scheduled my appointment at Quest and left. Please avoid this place at all cost, I hope the management can read my review and have a chat with the ladies working at Labcorp at Dotson. read more

I would give a zero if possible. I made an appointment online for 1/9/19 for a full lipid panel. I showed up and checked in to the kiosk and got in within 5 minutes....so far, so good...except they NEVER found the results and when Dr. Pothuri called they said they didn't exist. You can't talk to anyone so I plan on showing up tomorrow in person to raise hell. read more

Beverly, one of the techs at this location, is very professional and helpful. She has drawn both my and my husband's blood about 5 times over the last year or so and has always gotten it the first time without leaving any bruising. I know, that's her job, but not everyone is as caring and friendly. She has also been helpful with minor glitches with drs.'s orders which prevented me from having to have my blood drawn a second time within a few days.
