I have been going to this LabCorp location for a long time. The employees do their jobs efficiently. Some are more matter-of-fact and some are more friendly, but I have never had an employee be rude to me. And they work efficiently - at least, it seems that way to me. I see reviews from people complaining about others being called before they are. Perhaps those people made an appointment while the ones waiting longer are walk-ins? read more

Disappointing experience at this Labcorp - with Emily I understand how frustrating last-minute clients can be, as I've been in that position myself. However, a little professionalism and courtesy go a long way. Instead of being dismissive, a simple acknowledgment of the situation would have made a difference. I hope this location works on improving how they handle situations like this while maintaining a level of respectful communication--I was there for a drug screening test & the check-in kiosks weren't working. During that time a couple already there called for assistance twice. At 4:01 PM, Emily refused to check me in claiming I wasn't there before 4--despite the contrary. Screening test stop at 4:00pm, unbeknownst to me at the time. Again, I understand that cut-off times exist and that last-minute clients can be frustrating, Mrs Emily was very dismissive while in front of others which felt very disregarding. read more

Went in for drug test. Online the hours are shown to be 9-5. When I showed up at 4:15 the lady asked if I was here for a drug test. When I said yes, she rudely tapped her pen on the window that had a sign saying that drug tests were only administered between 9-11AM and 2-4PM. No big deal I suppose, but she was very rude. Very unprofessional would give them nothing but an "F" for total failure . Staff is very unprofessional and do not know how to draw blood, I mean it took 2 people and 3 times ending up having major bruises. A visit that should have taken 10 minutes top took 45 minutes. The facility was dirty and staff were totally unprofessional. While I was there staff members were in back yelling at each other as someone was quitting. Now isn't that what a customer wants to hear yelling from staff. I was to return with a urine sample which I did 2 hours later and ofc was closed due to plumbing issue, a sign was on door to go to location next door which I did at 4:18 and was told they could not accept sample as no order was in system yet individual telling me this was at 1st loction earlier in day, SERIOUSLY??? Then that same staff member locked door to customers at 4:20 and there was a customer knocking trying to get in mind you they don't close until 4:30. I let the customer in and the staff member was upset with me. Too bad DO YOUR JOB AND GET TRAINED. If you don't want to work then stay home. read more

Rang the door bell to ask a simple question regarding my lab requisition after check check in. A lady with light blond/brown hair slid the window open didn't even let me ask my question before asking if I had checked in. Once I told her I had I proceeded to ask my question to which she shouted " SIT DOWN WE'LL CHECK WHEN WE GET TO YOU." I work in healthcare I've never spoken to a patient in that way. My experience (6/25/18) was better than prior reviews posted! Pre-employment drug testing & immunization blood work. Located next to the elevators on the left side (if you came in through the main entrance) 3 kiosk to check in with only 1 operating. Have your ID ready to scan, saves time, or you may enter all your info manually. Don't put it away, it will be asked for again by the technician. No front desk personnel. Spacious floors to walk across from with 20 seats for enough people. TV is on for entertainment, a few news articles on the table to read from, and they provide their WiFi info to the clients (posted next to front desk). 9:16 check in/ 9:30 seen/ 9:40 out Brittney took care of me, friendly,kind, and professional. I just left this location and had the front desk girl's boyfriend follow me out of the building to call me a b*tch!! To preface, I had set an appointment online, which is convenient, and unfortunately, I will admit, I was a few minutes late for. I apologized to above mentioned young lady for my tardiness, which she stated was fine, and then proceeded to inform me I just needed to check in on their kiosk. I did have to explain I had 2 clinical requisitions, 1 was expired, and the second being most recent, but needed to assure all that was required for testing on both were being completed. That is when the young lady became terse, but informed I would need to have my Dr's office fax over the one test that was left off the updated request. I called my Dr's office and requested the fax. As I was waiting...the young lady slid open the window and informed me that they haven't received the fax...I would have preferred her to call me to the window, as their were other patients waiting. She had informed me one other time the faxed wasn't received, and I responded that my Dr's office may be busy. I'm trying to be patient, but, realize she's very pleasant to others, but her demeanor seems to change with me, and now I'm uncomfortable. So, another pleasant young lady called me to the window and inquired if I needed testing, and I went ahead and explained to her what I was waiting on. She was wonderful! Long story short, fax did not come through and it's 4:25 and they stop procedures at 4:30pm. As I leave, I encourage the 1st young lady to be more cognizant of customer service, that I felt she was being short with me, to which, she replies with such condescension for me to have a blessed day. Now I'm irritated...but, what really took this review to the 1 Star is when the boyfriend followed me outside, made his statement, and informed me he had been sitting there the whole time. My fault for engaging, but I informed him, he wasn't there for the initial reaction and my treatment, but it started to become a he-said-she-said. I asked if he were a manager, to which he continued his attack on me. Obviously we are at a blood testing facility to determine our health ailments, to figure out why our day-to-day is becoming more difficult. This place could use some compassion, understanding, and most of all customer service. read more

Beware of this place. Seriously. Go to any other LabCorp EXCEPT this one. I have had bloodwork done at 3 different LabCorps the past few months, and this one is the worst. They told me that they "require" a credit card before they can take blood. That seemed weird. I ended up calling corporate LabCorp about it, and they said that they are required to ask, but it is only optional. They will "authorize" your card for $1700+ dollars, which is crazy! That is not a requirement, though, and you should definitely say something if they tell you otherwise. LabCorp corporate was more than happy to reverse it and just bill me once insurance paid out their stuff if there was a balance left over. The place was dirty, people were loud, they were not organized and put me in a room with the wrong patient's information name. They also had a sign suggesting to go to another location because of "staffing challenges" - I should have taken that literally. The one at the Med Center and at St. Luke's was so much better. read more

I went to the office on Superior in Newport Beach. I don't like blood work. The person who drew the blood was named Nina. She was the absolute best. She put me at ease with humor. I went in to take a drug test. When I got there I was told to sign in on a clip board, which wasn't even put out until I had been there 30 minutes. It was an hour before anyone picked it up to start calling names. When I was called back after being there2 hours, the lab tech was extremely rude. She told me to go "piss" (her words) and that I should hit the line, not above it or below it because she didn't have time to deal with anyone who couldn't follow directions. The restrooms were dirty and the toilet I used was broken and held together with duct tape. I wish employers would check out companies before they send people to drug test. read more

Three weeks later we got a call that the imbeciles didn't follow procedure and didn't freeze a vial before submitting it to the lab. So we redraw. Two months later we find out that they never submitted any of the results to our doctor. Run, don't walk to a different lab! read more

Getting tested was quick, idk if it is due to COVID or what but the directory wasn't working ( cut off I believe) so I had to walk door to door searching for a LabCorp sign. Check in at the kiosk was simple and self explanatory, customer service was not even decent. I went in to take a drug test for school and the lady seemed to have an attitude as I'm sure she did not want to be there but hey‍. Anyhow I washed my hands and opened the container and etc as instructed and then went in to urinate. The restroom was FILTHY. Dry pee all over the floor and it's early on the morning so it had to be from a previous day. I proceed to lock my things up and obtain the sample and although there is a big sign that says don't flush, I flushed anyway ‍ not intentionally just out of habit, but I said I'd just stay to provide another sample if needed (no biggie, I was in the wrong) and her response is "I see none of y'all can follow instructions". Yes I wanted to go off, but decided to not even waste that energy and just apply it here for future patients to know what they may be walking into. read more

I went to this location in April with my 1 year old for her blood work and had an awful experience. Like many others have reviewed here. I had to take, my now 18 month old, back for blood work for allergies and was DREADING it. But, I had a wonderful lady who was so pleasant, helped me distract my kiddo, she was gentle, even went as far as to help my kid blow her nose from crying after she was done doing the blood draw. we were in and out no appointment needed. I cannot tell you the difference it made in our day. I think she was new and perhaps they are changing up the staff here a little? read more

Wish I could give zero stars. I went there to get a simple urine test done, as my WBC were off. I walked in, place was gross/not clean. Huge turn off, but figured it wasn't that big of a deal I was only giving a urine sample. Paid for the visit, and walked to the back. The assistant stated she was going to take blood. I told her I was only there for a urine sample, went back to the front desk and the lady who Inputted the order insisted that it was for blood work/urine and she couldn't split it up? So I called my doctors office, and explained the situation. The doctors office stated it was for a lab draw/urine culture and the front desk could split the order so I would only have to do the culture. Went back and forth with the lady to split it up, she refused. All the while my doctors office insisted that she could split it up, and is only refusing to do so. Same experience with Tomball location. 3 strikes and you are out! I tried to get blood drawn on 3 separate occasions in a 7 day span. The 1st time I did not have an appointment. I waited an hour and only saw the nurse come up front once. I had to leave for another appointment so I decided to schedule an appointment for the next day. Try #2 I made an appointment for 3pm (afternoons are usually slow so I was told). I arrived at 2:50pm. No one came to the window at all and no patient was seen in that time frame. At 3:30 I had to leave for another meeting. I called to the back and no one answered. I just scratched my name off and left. Try #3 after some convincing by my doctor I returned a 3rd time after scheduling another appointment for 2pm. The waiting room was completely full. A gentleman told me he had been waiting 3 hours. Again no one came in or out and I left at 2:20pm. I called the corporate office to inform them and after taking my complaint I asked to be transferred to another location. I waited on hold for 10 minutes before being disconnected. I called again and waited on hold another 10 minutes before giving up. I will NEVER use this lab again. read more
