I don't know what is going on here. I came in as a walk-in and every time someone comes in with an appointment I get pushed to the back. But also people who leave because they get tired of waiting come in and get seen immediately... I have never went anywhere where it is like this. I have gotten lab work a few times. You go in and they take your blood and then that's it, you're on your way. It's not like that here. If I was you, I would go somewhere else if possible or make appointment. I needed lab work done. Came in and left within 15 minutes. The nurse seemed a little stand offish but I don't think they mean to be. Ended up being really nice by the time I left. I can't speak for anyone else but for me. It was smooth as eggs. read more

Checked in at 10:45am. Waited 20 minutes for the receptionist to call me up and tell me the doctor went on lunch and it's going to be another 30 minutes. I told her it's a drug test for my new job and I really needed to urinate bad. She just looks at me with an attitude and goes "oh well you're gonna have to wait." Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I made an appointment for 8:45, arrived 10 minutes early, and scanned the QR code they emailed me on their checkin kiosk. Five minutes later the kind lady behind the counter called me up and asked for my lab work papers. Five minutes after that I was called back and the gentleman who was working painlessly collected my blood, I didn't even feel the needle. The entire process was quick and easy. read more

Not the best visit. I had an appt and waited over an hour. I guess staff called out because only 2 people were there working. I totally understand being short staffed that wasn't my issue. When I was finally called back the phlebotomist felt one arm, then the other and went back to the first and made a comment like "hmmm your veins are hiding". This stressed me out immensely because I've never had an issue with them feeling my veins before, plus I drank a ton of water! I asked him if he couldn't feel it to which he replied "I didn't say that" and then proceeded to get ready to poke me. My anxiety couldn't handle his level of unsureness so I told him I would just reschedule and proceeded to leave. Additionally I saw a lady leave earlier with two bandages (one on her hand and one on her arm). So.. had to have blood work done today. Had an appointment at 9 am with Labcorp and first issue when i get there... I try to check in from the email they sent me.. Hummm.. Tells me I don't have a appointment! Really??? I printed it out last night after I had to go thru hell and high water to even get a Labcorp open to get the work done. And no the only other lab I know is Quest and you can't even get an appointment with them.. not on line and not in person. So how you get an appointment is beyond me. Second issue.. there are only 2 people working .one guy one woman.. they are the both the receptionist and they also draw the blood... issue 3.. i hear the guy call my name and they walk away... he comes back and gets on the phone to the patient that just left to tell her she has to come back because they need to draw another tube of blood because the one they drew was the wrong color tube! OMG!!! Now I am WTF scared!..So I get called back and the guy pokes the left arm where you bend your arm and can't find a vein... they says to me rudely.. did you drink any water today? Like if I did.. he can't draw blood.. I said yes.. Him: How much? ME: one sip. Him: how much water did you drink yesterday? ME: WTF! I'm thinking.. He's going to tell me because I drink water he can't take my blood and I'm going to have to come back some other time. but no.. he says water makes your veins pop up. So.......... NOW he wants to poke at my right arm! I am like FU! and hes says way.. I say.. because I am not having you people mess up my right arm as I am right handed. Well he is so inexperienced that its either let him try the right arm or go home... F*ing people!! Nobody can do their jobs correctly anymore!!! Let me start off with saying that I am not a Boomer or some old person, however, I am not pleased with the lack of human interaction during the check in process. That isn't my main reason for a low review however it is some thing I really did not like and would preferred to check in face-to-face since I have already made an appt on my phone. Second of all I had an appointment at 8:45 AM and I am just now leaving that office at 10:05 AM. I didn't have my blood work completed, I am fasting, and have some heart condition so I needed to eat and just left. The reason I couldn't have my blood work done is because they weren't able to print off a lab slip for me it had to be faxed. My doctor tried faxing it over four different times and they still were not receiving it although it was going through on his end. I work at a doctors office and I know damn well if a patient is in the office and has orders and they don't have a printer themselves, it's a fax isn't going through, just email the form. I had the form in my email, the doctor tried to email it to them as well, but because of "HIPAA" I couldn't email them my lab form. Again I work at a doctors office and have a work email, anything that goes into the email is strictly work related for a reason, I know that I could've emailed it to her or another email because I've done it at other LabCorps but you could tell she was just happy giving out "No's" I'd give this location a one star review but this is me being generous read more

I have been fortunate to have had nothing but good experiences with Lab Corp (66th St. location) as both a walk-in and scheduled patient. The staff is courteous and the phlebotomists very accurate (I'm a "hard stick", i.e. rolling and collapsing veins). After having multiple labs by Quest labs "lost," years ago, I switched to Lab Corp and have had no negative incidents. read more

Wait times are absurdly long and it doesn't seem to make a difference whether you have an appointment or not---the staff is just going to go down their list, including any walk-ins. Don't even think about trying to come here during a lunch break. The facility is a bit sketchy looking too (reminiscent of a motel room that rents by the hour), not somewhere you feel terribly confident having lab work done. I went to Labcorp for some routine clinical screening, and it felt like a third-world country. The facility itself is filthy and run-down, the equipment is in poor repair, and the staff are underskilled, overwhelmed and poorly supervised. Labcorp has installed check-in kiosks to read your ID and insurance cards, which is great when incorporated into an overall process that leverages the information gathered. However, as currently implemented it's working quite poorly, and the one harried and unsupported admin at the front desk is forced to run a manual process alongside the automated one. I have been a frequent and satisfied Labcorp customer in California, but I will NEVER set foot in a Florida Labcorp facility again. STAY AWAY! read more

Needed some lab work done and this was the location that worked best for me. It was not the closest location but they had open appointments for the next morning. The lobby was not very well maintained. The chairs in the waiting room were comfortable and clean. I was running a few minutes late for my appointment and there was no problem getting me in. I am so baffled by the 5* reviews from this place it confuses the crap out of me. Simple things like a Urine test with 5 other people in the waiting room will run up to 2hrs of waiting. The staff almost come off like zombies by how hard they work to not interact with customers. Anyone that walks in the store, the staff just barks orders to the person to use a mobile kiosk. Is this place the best? Not at all. But I have used this lab several times and never been treated poorly like some of the other reviewers described. I would not consider going here without an appointment, but many people do (some out of necessity), and that occasionally puts strain on the staff and increases wait times. I get the reasons some of the reviews snark on the types of people who go here and the way LabCorp does business, but this points to the larger question about health care services being available and affordable. Too many people with limited choices have to go to offices like this, and as long as a "business model" dictates how you balance the needs of a variety of people, those who need the most assistance and have the least flexibility will suffer. read more

Having an apt means nothing except you get seen before the patients that don't have one. The best time to go I would say is like 3pm. Early in the AM still have to wait at least 30 mins with an appointment. If you dont expect to be there for hours. There is only one person doing everything, paperwork and bloodwork. Not the best place, but convenience wins out. My doctor ordered routine blood work and my insurance's preferred partner is Labcorp. This is the closest Labcorp to my apartment and it isn't bad enough that I will drive out of my way to avoid it. That's probably the theme of this review. Is it great? Definitely not. As others have mentioned, there is a sketchy feel that permeates the building. Let's just say, not everyone taking a drug test here is because they are starting a new job. I've had two experiences here now. The first, I actually was getting a drug test for a new job. Although I don't remember how long I had to wait the first time, when you need to pee, every extra minute feels like forever. I've made an appointment both times and have always had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. What's funny is that is almost standard for a doctor's office, so although it is aggravating, I don't think I am as appalled as other people, because I come to expect it. The technician administering my drug test (basically the guy who hands you the cup) was actually really nice and professional. This is a contrast to the guy who took my blood sample. Although he was also nice, I really wanted to ask him his credentials for poking my arm with a needle. However, he got the job done and once I was called (30 minutes late) it took about five minutes for the actual blood draw. The biggest surprise the second time I went was the front desk lady. She kept apologizing to people for having to wait. Apparently they were having computer issues, which was putting them behind. She was acknowledging the issue and personally apologizing to everyone. That's a star employee. Usually workers don't even bring up that they're running late, much less feel anxiety from it. You could tell she really cared and that made a huge difference to me. Overall, not a bad experience, but definitely bring something to entertain yourself, because you will have to wait. read more

I had to wait over an hour because the don't check the sign-in system, after I asked why they were taking so long, they noticed I was there . And I guess everybody can cheat they allowed me to take my bag into the bathroom for the test, so it doesn't look appropriate nor regulated. read more

I have been using Labcorp facilities for various issues for the past 10 Years. I have been to multiple sites around Florida and a few in other States. Location seemed to be in a sketchy area off 66th street, and Es the employees were a bit grumpy and snippy. But in the end, when it came to drawing my blood they were happy and chatty. Takes your mind off of the vials of blood you're pumping out. And since I'm a bleeder it took lets than 90 seconds. My last experience with giving blood was horrific. Great job to the staff here. Facility is clean and has lots of seating. Fresh coffee and the news to watch while you wait. read more

This is the worse place to have labs or urine done. They are under staffed, the one lady that was working, cannot walk and as a provider, they need to staff this place with people who can move fast to expedite things along. You should not be waiting for 2 hours to give a urine test, because the staff can't walk. This is unsatisfactory for a company this size to be this laxed. read more
