Had to have some blood work done and went to this Labcorp because they were open on Saturday and…read morenot too far off my activity path for the day. This office is the smallest one I've been to for them. It's seating capacity is less than 10, which left a few standing as they either waited for the intake folks to call them or to see the technician. Once I was called for the intake, I began sensing I was in a health office unlike any I had ever entered! Why? They are by far the nicest medical profession people I have ever encountered in the most genuine of ways! While waiting for the technician, I watched as they explained to one person why they couldn't do their Covid test, but provided them a non-Labcorp site that would and gave them directions, all without being asked! The thought of the specialness of my experience was ultimately confirmed when I had me blood taken and the technician was just as nice as all of the others! Now there are likely many teams that work there and they may not all be up to this standard, but my hat goes off to team 4 for a great medical experience!

And I do appreciate her advice to stay focused and positive. And I can actually do this cause I explain to her that I am nervous about this whole situation. But speaking to her gave me the confidence that I can do this. During the process she informed me that I was dehydrated and she had to try my other arm which actually worked. They always act miserable and make me feel like I am ruining their life by being there. When I went for my yearly check up last week, the nurse yawned and grunted at me through the entire interaction and then just told me that I was done after the doctor was finished. The doctor had mentioned labs so when I asked if I was having that done she said, "did he say you were?" Then she told me to go to the lab and ask. I wandered around the office lost trying to find the lab and when I got there one of the lab nurses had to go hunt the doctor down to find out. I never leave reviews unless they are good. its almost a joke how ridiculously rude and incompetent these nurses are. With no appointment set, I was a walk-in. After checking in with my drivers license and medical card, I was set for 8:10. Luckily, I was seen earlier than expected since there were no other patients ahead of me. The phlebotimist had me ring up my card for pre-estimated charges and took my blood samples with ease. In and out just like that. The way it should be at all times. And lab results were sent over to my PCP with no hassles either. Well, there you have it. Quick and easy.
