It was the first time I had heard of them, and drove to the facility after my appointment for a walk-in visit. It's a clean facility that wasn't as busy as some of the other labs in the area that can have very long wait times. The front desk receptionist was very nice, and gave me the paperwork to fill out. I showed her my doctor's order and she went over the pricing with me. Because my Dr. ordered a CBC, CMP, TSH, and Lipid panel, I paid for the annual package that had all of those (with Hemoglobin A1C thrown in) for $129. The annual checkup panel is cheaper than paying for each test separately, and definitely beats the prices of other competing labs in the area. Even as a walk-in, I didn't have to wait long and before I knew it, it was my turn. What really blew me away is that this was one of the smoothest blood draws I have EVER had. I don't know how she did it, but the girl who drew my blood was so swift and skilled that I hardly felt the needle. I had my head turned and was busy chatting with another patient who was leaving, and I found myself laughing and enjoying the conversation when normally I'm quiet and tense during the blood draw. I was bandaged up and on my way out the door in no time, still in conversation with the other patient as though I never had the needle stick. I have since had labs drawn elsewhere due to pricing for specific labs I needed, and I seriously wish all my blood draws were this painless.

As such, I think the staff is beginning to recognize me as a "regular." I usually get here right when they open, or a little after, which means that I get here just as the "rush" is finishing checking in. I check-in at the kiosk, provide my ID and insurance; and, have my blood drawn in no time. The last few times, I have even had the same technician; she is great; and, has a great sense of humor. Easy access from Alafaya Trail, both entering and exiting the site. Plus, there is always plenty of parking right out front.

Fraud with insurance companies and customer - Avoid Quest…read more I went to get a blood test in Orlando, FL Everything was fine until the billing. I have two insurances. Cigna and Florida Blue (BC/BS) are my insurance Companies. My jobs (2 jobs) provided both of them. I am with Cigna for 28 years. I provided the information to Quest. The billed to both of them on two different amounts with the different of few dollars on the same day of service. Cigna determined I covered everything and paid them. Florida Blue determined I covered everything with $14.84 copay and pay them. I called them many time, and I was told I do not own them anything. However, I received many bills from Quest about the payment. Customer service representatives were terrible. Some of them decided I did not have to pay anything. Some of them decided I have to pay $14.84. They got paid twice from the two insurance companies and they wanted to pay again. I think they try to attempt fraud. Do not use them!

Typically, there are at least 2 people at the front desk, someone always greets me and there usually isn't a wait. I typically do all of the on-line pre-check in things so at arrival, I'm usually just asked for my name and ID. I think that my longest wait in the lobby was about 20 minutes before being called back. Each time, the technicians were friendly and professional. They generally are pretty quick with completing the test and getting everything finished. Appointments can be scheduled on-line or by calling. Appointments are now also available on the weekends. The office shares a common parking lot, however, I've never had an issue obtaining a close parking space. Overall, a top notch location and medical services. I prefer to drive to this location due to the history of good treatment even though other imaging locations are closer to me.
