Best lab in Orlando ! I have been coming to this location for 9 years. They're always fully staffed. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The office is always clean and well maintained. While the people were very nice there they do not keep adequate supplies and various needed needles/syringes in stock. For smaller and older people with smaller veins this is detrimental to the patient's. Having no butterfly needles in stock at all is not right. My arm was severely bruised from a routine blood test there. I recommend you use Quest Labs if possible and to stay away from this specific Labcorp. read more

I haven't been to a Labcorp in several years and chose this location to visit. Scheduling online was easy. My appointment was at 9:15 and I was out by 9:05. I'm a "hard stick" as I have been told in the past and usually have to get stuck in my hand. Well bring in John! John has tricks up his sleeves and was able to draw from my arm. Seriously I haven't been able to give blood in my arm in many many years because the techs couldn't find a vein. I may have to just switch to Labcorp and this location for my future blood tests. read more

This was my 2nd time having to go to this location of LabCorp. This location is right off of Alafaya Trl. just a bit confusing once you get onto the 'site', trying to find the suite. It is located alllll the way to the back, in fact it is the last suite/business in this suite of businesses. I like that they have upgraded the check in experience with the help of kiosks that are really simple to use. Simply click check in, place your drivers license where indicated answer a question, "have you fasted?" and voila, you are checked in. They do take walk ins but on this occasion I had an appointment and thank God because there were quite a bit of people. The waiting area could benefit from brighter lighting, it seems so dim when you walk in. There are plenty of seats and a coffee/tea, self-serve area. I went into this lab Corp for a glucose test due to pregnancy . This is my first time at this specific location. Everyone seemed nice and genuine but the young guy who was taking blood seemed to be in a rush he couldn't seem to find my vein when he inserted the needle so he was moving the needle around inside my arm till blood filled the tube. I knew something had to be wrong because when I usually get blood drawn I barely bleed. My arm was swollen with a lot of blood from where the needle was inserted incorrectly. It also hurts when my arm is straight out and not bent. read more

Jeez... Staff members were polite but this place was a mess. Three days prior I had scheduled appointments for both fiancée band I for our routine annual check-up. Our appointment was at 10:15am. Since we were fasting and very hungry, we arrived there at 9:30am, just in case we could be seen sooner. Immediately, saw the place was packed and knew we would have to wait for our appointments. No biggie, we knew it was a possibility. 10:15am... nobody had even called us to ask us for our scripts, id and insurance. I realize this and approach reception where I was told I would be called soon. 10:35am, we were called to reception in order to provide insurance information. I went to Labcorps on a monday morning for a drug screening. I got there at 6:30am and it was already pretty full (12 customer maximum in facility at a time). I left around 7:30am so it took like an hour to take my test. A little longer than expected but hey it was already full by 6:30am so cant ask for much. Very pleasant experience. As someone else noted, you have to look carefully to find the location -- a small sticker on a tinted door is your only clue (right side of the building as it faces the street). The office itself was quiet and spare, with plenty of seating. The kiosk check-in worked well and quickly, the staff was pleasant, and appointment began just a few minutes after the scheduled time. The phlebotomist made a painless, expert "stick," and I was out within 5 minutes or so. As good a bloodwork experience as I've had. Good job, LabCorp. read more

My appointment was at 7am. I arrived at 6:50am. I hear people being called back that came in after me. I went to check and pointed out the names they just called. The lady said; "yeah but they are 7:15." And she was kind of rude about it. I reminded her that 7am actually occurs prior to 7:15. She realized she had marked my name off without calling me and proceeded to act like I'm the A-Hole. My insurance mandates that I use the idiots when Quest is across the parking lot. If you have United Healthcare medical insurance, you have to go to LabCorp. I went to this one when I worked in the UCF area and was very disappointed. First, the waiting room was dirty. There was no sign in sheet, and the dude at the desk had his shirt unbuttoned low to show off his thick gold chain and whisps of thick chest hair. Not a good first impression. Second, the labtech that drew my blood was nervous, I'm assuming because he was shaking. REALLY not good. Third, they lost my blood results. I went to my doctor's appointment, they asked me why I hadn't had my blood test yet. We went back and forth before they called the lab, and the lab had no record of me being there. About and hour later, they called the doctor's office and told them they found my blood test and that it all came back negative. Uhhhmmm... yeeeeah. It was an allergy test, and I pretty much sneeze all year long. Don't go here. Just don't. read more

I was going to wait until I actually left to write my review but now I'm beginning to think that I will never escape this place. As I type have been here 56 minutes. No one has called me to the dean to ask for my insurance information or even what I'm supposed to have done today. There were less than 10 people waiting when I arrived so I was encouraged, but clearly that optimism was misplaced. I'm still here. I usually come in the afternoon but this time I was able to make it in the morning. This was a different crew that I usually have so this isn't geared towards them at all. But since I was coming to LabCorp I might as well pay for my bill there. It was convenient and it will get taken care of right then and there. The on-line appointment was made very easily. The location is easily accessible from via Alafaya Trail, from Highway 50, or Research Park. The check-in process went smooth, until I presented my new insurance card. My hubby took my almost 3 yr old here because they listed pediatric blood draws for this location assuming this meant that there was someone on staff that was experienced in doing draws from children. I have been to this LabCorp twice. They are the slowest lab I have ever been to. The staff seems to be preoccupied with other things than their jobs or customer service. I felt that their attitude was that I had nothing better to do than sit around for an hour to get my blood drawn. I have been able to donate a unit of blood at the blood bank faster than having my blood drawn at this LabCorp location. My advice is drive a little further to a better location. read more

I went today to retake an urine test for my doctor that I did it 10 days ago through labcorp. My Dr. never received my results. I went and spoke with the lacey and rude white receptionist that was working. When I asked why the company did not sent the results to my Dr. she stated we do not have any records of prior test done neither results. I told her I'm here to retake the test. She told me sign in the computer and we will call you. I waited for 15 minutes they were 4 people ahead of me. She was calling people that came after me without putting attention of the arrival list order and gathering their information prior to mine. When I went to talked to her and told her I'm waiting to retake my test and I do not expect to be here all day, because is not my fault that labcorp never sent the results to my Dr. She was very nasty and told me go ahead and wait to be call. She was so unprofessional and start talking crap to the other black receptionist about that my results not been received by my Dr. Which is not my fault.People that came after me were done and gone, they were about 8 people more after me. I waited 10 minutes more , she did not called me and I left. If she thinks labcorp is the only company in Orlando, she is wrong. Tried to go here to day arrived at 2:15 with my test order on my phone so I was directed to leave and print it or I could have my doctors office fax it, I call my dr they say it could take a few minutes to fax. I left and I was told I had to be back by 3pm sharp! Got it! I drive to Waterford print the order and make it back by 2:53pm, LOCKED OUT!!!! Worse experience EVER. They are rude, and obnoxiously full of themselves. They talk down to you, like you should know how everything works and when you don't do something right they don't try what so ever to help. They just tell you to go back and try again wasting your time in the process. Don't even think about going when it's almost closing time, as all they care about is how quickly they can close and go home. So when it's almost closing time they actually become more jerks, as if that is even more possible. The most unprofessional place ever, STAY AWAY.
