Reliable Service, but Out-of-Pocket Costs Add Up. Labcorp provides excellent, reliable service every time I visit. The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient, making the process of getting lab work done quick and stress-free. I appreciate how organized the facility is, with minimal wait times and a clean, comfortable environment. That being said, one downside is that I always seem to have to pay out of pocket for my lab work compared to using Quest Diagnostics. While the quality of service is great, this additional expense can be frustrating, especially when insurance coverage is a concern. It would be helpful if there were clearer communication about billing and insurance coverage ahead of time. Overall, I continue to trust Labcorp for their accuracy, professionalism, and convenience. However, I do wish the billing process was more transparent or aligned better with my insurance plan. read more

Fastest Lab Corps I've been too! For future reference: Book an appointment online!! I checked in on the phone and then waited in my car until they texted me that they're ready for me to come in. I came in as a first timer after having booked an online appointment for some routine bloodwork . Turned out that I couldn't have the appointment completed because I didn't have any doctor's order . Understandable ; so I know moving forward how to do these types of tests (having PCP etc) . It's just that , given how inexperienced I am I guess , having to have a doctor's order was not something I could have known , and I received none of this information on the confirmation page and whatnot (they even asked if I was going to be fasting during the labwork when I booked the appointment which is why I assumed I could just walk in for the test) . I spoke with the manager / boss about this , and she was nice . But when she asked "do you know where Chuck E Cheese is" I said no , the lady in lab coat behind her chuckled . Hey , I could have been new to the area . And I admit I have zero sense navigating the healthcare system even as an adult . If I could share some more context , I've been in other countries when this kind of lab/bloodwork could be requested directly by the patient / client and not necessarily by a doctor's order . I was just hoping they (excluding the manager who'd helped me out) could've been nicer in handling my questions , and especially not laughing at my not knowing where Chuck E Cheese is . read more

Receptionist was "new." She was inept at best. Usually with an appointment I'm in and out in15 minutes. Somehow my electronic orders from Stanford family medicine never made it to Lab Corp. Stanford was willing to fax it there, but after an hour I left. Patients without an appointment were seen ahead of me. Disappointed by both this Lab Corp location and Stanford medical. I visited labcorp on a Monday morning for a blood test. The check-in was extremely easy through a terminal. It could pull out all info using my DL. However there was some wait as the lab technician were also performing the role of front desk. The experience of blood draw was painless. I arrived around 1pm and didn't realize that they closed for lunch from 12:30-1:30 so I waited 30 minutes and was first in line when they reopened! They have a touchscreen for check in where you can scan your ID and insurance card. There are alcohol wipes available to clean the screen and hand sanitizer as well. After I provided my labs I was directed to a room and a few minutes later the phlebotomist came in to assist me. I felt a bit of pain, but it was over quickly and I was out the door. He was wearing a mask and a face shield. I felt very safe. There were a few people waiting. The facility is limited to about 3 people at a time so there were a couple people waiting outside. Made an appointment for lab tests, after having the most worst experience at another location I was surprised to come across this specific location with great reviews. Go there 30 minutes before my appointment easy check in system waited for about 5 minutes was helped right away. I didn't get her name but the front desk lady was super helpful,assertive and nice as well as all the employees here. In addition theres plenty of parking outside I would highly recommend using this LabCorp location they're awesome. read more

I had to get a series of blood panels done prior to having cosmetic surgery. Labcorp made it easy to book online, and also get my results through their app. They actually faxed my surgeon the results so quickly that they had them before the app had them available. The staff is polite and skilled. I like the check-in kiosk. I don't particularly enjoy getting blood drawn, as most people don't, but this place makes it easy and I barely felt anything but a little pinch, so even if you shy away from needles, they're very fast and professional. I've also gone in without an appointment and was seen almost immediately. read more

The workers here are excellent. They are very friendly and professional. The downside is that this lab is overbooked every time I come here. The waiting room is full, there is a line of people out the door waiting and waiting and waiting. You should schedule an appointment before coming here. Even then you will still be waiting, just not as long as the poor souls without an appointment. I've been getting my blood drawn here for as long as I can remember. It can be a bit slow sometimes, but thats because of the nature of getting blood drawn. Alot of people need to get blood drawn for appointments and such. So I don't necessarily blame this small location for being slow. The simple trick is, if you come and its busy, just leave and come back later unless its really, really , really necessary. I always come either VERY VERY early or once in a while between 10 - 12 when most people are at work. I never really cared too much about waiting a week for results because generally my doctor appointments are a week after getting my blood drawn so...I don't complain about that. But everytime I go, when its my turn, the blood draw is fast and pretty painless. I recently became scared of needles and the person getting my blood was VERY accommodating, and asian man, don't know his name. He made sure to show me that he was using a new needle and even put a paper towel down on the armrest so that I felt better. Overall I love this place and as long as this one specific asian man continues to work there I will always come back! read more

If you are looking for a phlebotomist, look no further, as I'll share my experience. It has been painful to watch my spouse go to multiple labs and leave with 4-5 band-Aids all over his arms without blood being drew. It has been difficult enough knowing he is in a lot of pain. I sought out and thought, what could I do? First, I learned he has what one calls "rolling veins," making it challenging to extract blood. I also learned that it comes down to technique and the technician's skill. It's an art. It has been two weeks since the doctor ordered labwork, and he expressed to get it done "like yesterday." So I went online searching and reading reviews of different labs within a 75-mile radius. Yes, 75 miles, because I've gotten to the point I didn't care how far I had to drive after so many failed attempts by different Technicians. Then I read a review by someone like me, and although short, instinctively, Cheng was it. I asked for Cheng upon my arrival, explaining the difficulty with my husband's arm. The person at the front desk said she would have him do it. Unfortunately, a different phlebotomist entered, and I expressed that I wanted Cheng. She assured me that if she couldn't do it and would have Cheng come in and draw his blood, to which she kept her promise. After trying, the tech stopped and asked Cheng to take over. OK, I don't want to be dramatic, but I was at the end of my rope. When he walked in, I knew he was the Michael Jordan of drawing blood. I could sense his energy, and this was his craft. He got the vein on the FIRST and ONLY attempt and filled ALL THE TUBES, and there were quite a few. Now I don't write reviews; it's a pain in the butt, and I don't have time, but I cannot express the weight lifted and who may be like me.. searching. If you are going through the stress of seeing your loved one and are in the same dilemma, trust me when I say Cheng is heads and shoulders above the rest! Lastly, if you are reading this, Cheng, I am grateful for your service and the peace of mind you provided. We may finally get some answers. THANK YOU. read more

I highly recommend making an appointment online because walk-in wait times can exceed 45-60 minutes. My appointment was at 11:45. I signed in on the clipboard and waited to be called. Bring your insurance cars and lab form (if it wasn't sent over electronically). My phlebotomist was also the "receptionist". The draw took a minute. I was out by 12:05. I went here a couple of months ago for some blood tests for a physical. I'm new to East San Jose so this was my first time there. It is a small Labcorp, there were two technicians there and I thought they were efficient and great, so that is why the four stars. I didn't have to wait and the women doing my test was very experienced. However, I think LabCorp should give these employees an updated and cleaner environment, it is just old and outdated and the bathroom was less than desirable compared to other labs I've been at, which might make me drive further to get to a more updated lab. read more

Went to labcorp for regular blood work this Monday morning without an appointment at 7.20 am and was out by 8.00am!!! The place is clean and well maintained. The people here are super swift in their work and attend everyone who visits the lab very promptly. Both the attendees at the reception were multitasking with handling the billing and doing the blood tests. I can't thank enough the Phlebotomist who drew the blood. He was professional and told be what he was going to do, very gentle with the needle and quick in drawing 6 vials of blood. Absolutely no pain during the test, didn't hurt, didn't feel nor any after pain/bruises. Wonderful experience ....Highly recommend this location :) read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this Labcorp. I have been getting my blood drawn every six months for the past 6 years, and every time its been an event. Here I walked in at 9am on a Wednesday ready to spend the next hour waiting for a blood draw. You can imagine my surprise when I walked in and there was one other person waiting for his doctors to fax something over. I signed in at exactly 9, and I was in the clean and prepped room by 9:02.
