I visited Labcorp Jackson Av for one of my first drug tests, and overall it was a very positive experience. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The lady who drew my blood was quick and professional. The place looked clean, and the building itself is nice. I also really liked their personal self check in system, it made everything easier. I didn't even have an appointment, I just walked in, and my waiting time was about 30 minutes, which I think is reasonable. Before I left, the medical assistant asked how everything went and made sure I had completed the test, which I appreciated. That extra care made me feel comfortable. HORRID waiting experience. Came in as a walk-in at 1:30pm and was being pushed out every time an appointment came in. Two techs available for a whole crowd of patients. Over two hours of waiting and got passed up by appointments scheduled after 3pm which is insane when I checked in at 1:30pm. They texted me that my technician was ready for me, I waited another 35 minutes in the lobby, and then an appointment walked in and got called in instead. I understand prioritizing appointments but there has to be a formula or way to make walk-ins more efficient. They need staff! Please hire more, pay the staff more, whatever they need in order to get this operational. I saw disabled patients coming in that couldn't wait over two hours and had to leave. It's unacceptable. read more

The check-in process is great. You can do it via QR code when in the parking lot, or scan via QR code when you get into the office. All the staff are nice and I never have an issue with them not being able to draw blood. It might take a few minutes to find a good vein in either arm. But today, she was great and found a good vein. She was kind and patient, taking the time to make me feel comfortable even though my veins are usually tough to find. Her skill and gentle touch made the process quick and nearly painless. Located next to Regional hospital. When you enter the building it's to your left and 2-3 doors down on your right side. One of the few Labcorp locations that accepts walk-ins. I went in for a urine panel for school. Didn't have an appointment and overall time took about 45mins (30mins was just waiting). They have kiosk check-in and then an employee will call you at the window. It's pretty small inside. I can't speak for the bloodwork service but for what I needed, I was in and out without any issues. And for that I'm thankful! read more

I had to come in for health and drug screening for a new recent job. Everyone was nice however the only reason I give 2 stars is because the lady constantly kept slapping my arm agressively to find a vein. I understand it may be difficult to find veins on my arm, but no need to slap I think she if she was more gentle my experience would've been better. She also didnt't do it properly and most likely hit a vein which left me with this big bruise. It was much bigger and it's healing but I've had this for over a week now and I definitely don't recommend this place if you want more of a professional experience. The front desk staff had an extremely bad attitude--very impolite and extremely rude. The clinic requires masks, so we asked for two, but she only gave us one, claiming that masks were in short supply. If that's the case, then why do they have such a big sign requiring masks? When she attended to local patients, she was very friendly and greeted them with a smile, but when dealing with other ethnicities, she was extremely rude, making me feel that she was being racist. I've had to stop by this Labcorp twice for labwork through Stanford and both times have been.....okay. I've gotten test results back quickly but the experience at this location is not the most pleasant or smooth. They seem to be understaffed so the front desk person always seems some combination of distracted, aloof and curt. The waiting area is tiny and feels boxed-in. You can hear every person's conversation with the front while checking in - SUPER non-HIPAA compliant. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE and use the mobile kiosk to check-in for the shortest wait time because that is the most unpleasant part of this place. Luckily, once you get in, the technicians are at least competent. I only came here because I needed a very specific test done that I couldn't get at Stanford. Hopefully I won't have to come back, but I'll know what I have to do if I do! read more

I came to this location for its ease of access when I needed to get a health assessment for school. I made an appointment online before coming here (since in the past, no appointment meant taking a change waiting 20m-2.5 hours). As soon as I walked in, I noticed it was mostly empty and checked in on both the tablet and with the receptionist. It was a very quick process and I waited maybe 7 minutes maximum before being seen (other results may vary, I arrived after 2pm on a weekday). I was able to be seen, and out within 5 minutes or so, and then I was on my way. Everyone here is very polite and professional, I had a very good experience and everything was done in a timely manner. read more

Kathy, the receptionist name, made and Indian guy and Latina stand outside an empty waiting room until they were called. When I was text to return to my appointment, I find 2 Asians sitting and one processing her check in. I asked Kathy why she made me wait outside and these people are inside sitting down. Her response was I text you to come in. She had no reason to keep me waiting outside in my car or making that Indian man wait outside of an empty waiting room. Kathy has some big problems dealing with people equitably. If you're Asian And don't mind Kathy treating people badly...go see Kathy - that LabCorp is meant just for you. Everybody else have a nice time waiting outside. I highly recommend you not go to this LabCorp. Another reason not to go to this LabCorp - I saw a client having a very difficult time getting his wheelchair out of the door. It took three people to get that wheelchair out the door. Fortunately that gracious Indian man they had waiting outside of the empty waiting room offered his assistance. It is not ADA compliant. read more

Hello, Avoid this location if possible, the people there have no interest in helping the people succeed. The staff puts people down and gives them the runaround. One of the nurses came out of nowhere to try and get fresh with me over the simplest things. She literally came at me like a man and authority and if she does it to me she does it to everyone else. She acts as if she is the owner of the company. A real attitude for confrontation and a recipe for disaster for herself. Highly unprofessional and unethical experience almost makes me feel she was being sexist and racist. Don't go here if you can. They do all they can to watch you fail. Wow! Im amazed by the customer service at this location! I had to take my 4 yo son in for a scary blood test and was helped by two very nice people, Ami and Ching. It was such a pleasant experience, they were very friendly, knowledgeable and they put my son at eased right away! They know what they are doing. They poked him only one time despite him having tiny veins and he did not cry at all through out the whole Experience! Ching and Ami are seriously professionals! I'm amazed by their hospitality and professionalism! This location and Ami and Ching exceeded my expectations. I can't thank them enough for Turing this scary experience into such a great experience! My doctor wanted me to have additional lab work done, so I went to a different LabCorp location, the one at Hamilton and Winchester. That location was so much better than this one that it is hard to believe that they are both LabCorp. Their check-in kiosk operated properly, the wait was only about a minute, and the staff was wonderful, very courteous and professional. The facility was neat and clean and well-maintained. When I first got here I thought this place was a mess. There were a few people waiting outside and when I asked one of the ladies if she was in line she said only 3 people are allowed inside. I had an appointment so I just did the mobile check-in on my phone. Two ladies in front of the door got into an argument about who can wait or go inside but I got a text exactly at my appointment time that they were ready to see me so I went in and it was pretty straightforward from there. The lady who attended to me was nice and friendly and the other person who drew my blood was a pro. Long story short-- good service, just ignore the people who don't have appointments or are confused about the procedure. Main tip: Make an appointment and use the mobile check-in when you get there. I easily made an appointment online and came in the next morning. There was a couple of other patients there, but I didn't have to wait long after checking in. Their check in stall is on the left right when you walk in. I totally missed it and the staff had to tell me to check in back there. It's a little touchscreen where you can scan your ID and insurance card if you've never been there. Super easy and fast. Wipes and hand sanitizer are available. They limit the amount of people inside at any one time. I believe it is max 3 people. The phlebotomist that assisted me was very nice. She even asked to see if I was okay after sticking the needle in. I hardly ever get asked that! The blood draw was quick and I was out the door in a few minutes. There's hand sanitizer right when you walk out of the lab so I helped myself to some of that and was on my merry way. No complaints! I'd probably try to come around the same time again on a weekday. I just had the worse experience today. I got here around 2:30pm I needed to get a urine test for school. I went to Milpitas quest and was told no walk ins. So I was sent here. My classmate told me that she did the same and confirmed the address. I wait for about 30min and I was told I can't have my daughter with me while they're looking at my paper work. I call my boyfriend to pick up my daughter and now I wait for about 40min. I'm patiently sitting there and they finally call me at 3:40pm just to tell me I can do my lab there because it's quest. Why can't they tell me the moment they took my paperwork!!!!!! I understand that they're busy but all have our schedules. I would've been okay if they would've have just told me the moment they received my paper. The fact that I sat there and no one said anything. I was literally the last one. It's just sad. read more

Very poor customer service. They made mistake of drowning tests that were not supposed to be done. In response to my question about that, they sent a letter saying to ask my doctor about it. And it definitely was not my doctor's mistake. The letter was in a corporative language that aims to protect corporation and no care what so ever about customers. They took so easily full responsibility on decision to take tests, but no responsibility to finance it. They made the customer to pay for their mistakes. This place is not recommend, the receptionist is a total racist, show no respect to the customers. She won't answer any questions, and she seems like hate the job. I was assigned there by my doctor, and my doctor told me I already paid for blood test, and my urine test would be covered by my insurance, then I was arrived there on Saturday doing my immgration test, and I have two files ready with my insurance, the receptionist said that my insurance doesn't cover the test, I felt confused because my doctor said it should be cover. So I just confirmed with her and wanted to make things clear.but she was very impatient and yelled at me said "I know what you are trying to do, you just want to get rid of the charge." I was shocked about what she said!!! And there were an old couple before me, I didn't actually know what happened, but I just heard that the receptionist shouted loudly to the couple that "OMG, you don't know how to write ur own name!". I came in to do a drug screen for work as this office and the Sunnyvale office are closest to where I live. I would have made an appointment, but the line was busy each time I called. I arrived at 10:40 to about 2 people in the waiting room and welcomed by a "10 Minute Break" sign. Within the next 10 minutes, 3 more people arrived. The door chime would ring each time the door opened, yet not one employee returned to the front desk to greet/check-in any patients. I feel bad for having to write this review, but I just did NOT have a good experience here. I came directly from my doctor's appointment, and arrived at 12:15pm (they close for lunch at 12:30) so I figured I was still okay in terms of time. I walked in, and there was no one there. No one at the front desk for 10 MINUTES. I could hear a girl and a guy talking/flirting though. I tried saying "hello?" I tried knocking, nothing. Finally, after my 5th time of saying "Hello? Anyone here?" did this girl walk out. She wasn't rude, but definitely not friendly. She ushered me in and got me prepped and then seriously jabbed me to the point where I got a huge bruise (see photo). I usually go to LabCorp to get my blood work done, and have never had someone draw blood so roughly. I had to get 4 vials filled, and even though each vial has to be pulled off and a new one "popped" on, I have never had a bruise like this. Was she upset I interrupted her flirting?
