I was asked to wait outside even though the waiting room was under capacity. New customers came who were women and they were allowed to sit inside. I can only assume the receptionist was knowingly engaged in gender bias. Appt date: 03/19 -10:00am I was nervous to go here because of all the bad reviews. I used to drive really far to avoid this place and then I decided I was sick of driving far and I made an appointment. I checked in while I was in my car and I got a text that they were ready for me and I didn't wait long in the lobby. The lady at the front desk was organized, nice, and funny. The lady taking my blood was nice and quiet. She had a hard time finding my vein, but when she poked me the first time, it was the last time because she knew what she was doing. She told me to take a deep breath which I have never been told to do before so I appreciated that. When I left, I saw the lady at the front desk in the lobby helping people with the kiosk. The conversation between her and the people she was helping seemed friendly and relaxed. I do recommend making an appointment because there were a lot of people outside waiting for their turn. They have a list of people with appts and walk-ins. There were mostly walk-ins, but I was first on the list because of my appt. which was nice! I wonder if the bad reviews are from people who wonder in and are completely helpless and confused. I can see how that could be frustrating to the staff and maybe they start to lose their patience throughout the day? I'm really not sure because my experience here was great and I will continue to go here. read more

I came to simply drop off a specimen early this morning (September 3, 2020 9am). As soon as I entered the office, I was yelled at by the employee at the desk. "You need to get out of the office! I already have three people waiting inside. You need to get outside and wait!" She wouldn't even let me get a word out. The last time I came in, I was told I didnt need to wait in line and had to drop off the specimen only. The rude employee didn't want to hear me out. I understand firsthand that there is a pandemic going on as i am a registered nurse, so I 100% will comply with social distancing protocols, but at least provide your clientele the respect to hear what they have to say. I will never go to this location ever again. The last time I went here, I waited over an hour. There were only two other people waiting in front of me, both of whom said they were waiting just as long. The professionalism of the staff at this location is terrible and they need to be properly inserviced. read more

Went here this morning for a pre/employment drug test around 10am, checked in & waited about 15-20 mins to get called in. The process was fairly quick & the lady helping me with the paperwork was extremely nice! Glad I had a better experience than most that have posted a review here. read more

Came here for the first time to get some lab work done and they are not helpful at all the lady that is sitting in the front did not want to help even though I told her twice that it's saying I need to go to the front she simply said have a seat and I had an appointment. She wanted me to wear a mask which I understand but if it's mandatory for your clinic to have a mask mandate you should provide one to the people that don't have one. I do not recommend this location to anyone it's a horrible clinic. read more

I was pleased with the service I received. Check in was easy and was politely asked to wait outside until I got a text message to come in. Waited in my car only 5 minutes. Paperwork was quick and easy and lab work took only 5 minutes. From the time I parked until I left must have been only 20 minutes. Nice staff and nice lady at the desk. read more

I checked in for an appointment I made online for 9:45 on 10/22. The room was packed and two of us had to stand for a bit. I commented to the front desk about how busy they were. She said that they were short-staffed that day. I think it was just her and a phlebotomist. After an hour, I told the front desk I had an appointment and was never called. She says that she doesn't see me on her list and asks me if I have a confirmation number. I pull out my phone and show her and then I'm finally taken back. Other people in the waiting room start to grumble about the wait. The draw goes smoothly and the phlebotomist is very apologetic about the wait. As I was leaving, a patient in the waiting room gave me a knowing look and just shook her head. The facility could use a facelift, but that didn't bother me too much. I usually go to Quest Diagnostics, which I love, but had to use LabCorp because my Dr. ordered the tests there. If I have to go back to LabCorp, I'll go to the one on Forest instead. My husband went there a couple of weeks ago and was pretty content. Also, I did the draw on Tuesday and I don't see the results on the Labcorp website today (Saturday). I found out that my Dr.'s office did receive the results via fax. I don't know if the turnaround for the results takes a little longer. But I think Quest Diagnostics is faster. read more

I am in disbelief that this location is running. Where is corporate? There were two receptionist/lab tech running the show. They were extremely flustered, talking amongst themselves in front of patients, and showed definitive signs of not wanting to be there. At one point they were shouting at someone to exit through the backdoor. They apparently locked the doors at noon. This location is horrible! The staff really needs to be retrained. Great customer service! Woman at counter with a southern accent was helpful, professional and friendly when I interrupted for two urine sample cups because my kids had not used the bathroom since the night before. I didn't want a urine accident in the lobby. I also never received lab paperwork from my doctor. My doctor called in the lab work. No problem. The front desk quickly looked it up and printed exactly what was needed. The phlebotomist with four daughters of her own was sweet and calming for my two nervous children while my toddler screamed for attention. We had a 7:30am appointment I scheduled ahead online. I would recommend making appointments first thing because the lobby was packed when we left thirty minutes later. read more

This place is so gross! Not only in terms of service, which can be seen from everyone else's reviews but in terms of CLEANLINESS. Already walking in, the place was small, musty, dark, and reeked of sadness. I almost always expect bad service and long wait times at these type of lab places, I mean collecting bodily fluids for a living probably doesn't make you a very happy person. But...it gets WORSE... I wasn't completely bothered by this dungeon of bad health until I left the waiting room to another seat in the hallway. And out of the bathroom comes the previous patient holding pee cup in hand walk right by me and into the exam room. Health care has got to implement some kind of open container law or something, because one small misstep, and I could've easily been covered in someone else's piss. And I don't know about you, but I already don't like seeing my own piss outside of the toilet bowl, but having to see everyone else's parade down the hallway was nauseating. So when it came to my turn, I was given my cup, and my instructions were to go do my business, DON'T FLUSH, and bring my specimen back into the room. The toilet tank was taped, the sink faucet also taped so no hand washing, no soap, no paper towels, and no seat covers; just toilet paper. I could just imagine everyone's dry piss and bacteria all over the toilet, floor, sink, and door. Clearly giving urine samples is messy business and god forbid they give us soap/hand sanitizer. So everyone had to open the door with their most likely pissy hand. You wash your hands in the exam room and they flush for you after they check that you didn't do anything sketchy...though I could've still snuck in someone else's pee if I really wanted to. Might as well give everyone a personal pat down while you're at it. I understand that they do drug screenings here, but do they have to be that paranoid?? I've peed in a cup in many different places and they usually give lids, have deposit boxes, or at least hand wipes if not a working sink. Even if I came perfectly healthy, I probably contracted some kind of disease when I left. Maybe I'll make the trip to the Fremont or Sunnyvale location next time. read more

Negative star status for sure. Rude staff, unclean, and unprofessional. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist was bothered she had to deal with me. Then this Asian lady, who's got the LOUDEST voice I've ever heard, screams at me to come in the room. She asks me to put my purse in this styrofoam box, which doesn't fit my tote. I took my water bottle out to drink a little water before going in and she screams "YOU'RE NOT READY?!" As if they came in to work JUST for me and are only available for like 2 mins. I ended up not being able to fill the cup to the line so she laughed at me in front of everyone and said to go wait in the waiting area and drink water. I did for 20 mins and tried again but still couldn't and I had to leave for work so they said they'd put me as "REFUSED." Are there seriously no other options? I wanted to also add a note that as others have said, it isn't clean. The first time I went to the bathroom, they didn't even flush from the last person in there! It's disgusting. I've contacted my HR to get another authorization but I definitely won't be coming back to this location. read more

When I saw the 2 stars on yelp, I grew kind of worried, but I didn't have a choice at where I could get the blood work done since I'm getting it done to donate bone marrow. I had an appointment at 7:30 AM and got in around 7:32. There were tons of parking spaces available and when I went inside, there were already 5 people waiting. When the lady came out to the front, I told her I had an appointment at 7:30 and she got my paperwork and told me to sit in room 1. She came in and drew blood and it was painless! I called them to ask the price on a certain lab, since I pay out of pocket (High deductible insurance plan). I was told they will not give me a quote over the phone and that I must show up in person. I asked for an explanation because that did not make sense to me. The receptionist just told me that is how they do business, nothing more. I think that they are a bit on the arrogant side just from this incident. I bet they are part of the problem when it comes to medical services overcharing Medicare and insurnace carriers, hence the national problems in that area. If other companies are the same way then this industry needs more competition. I'll take my chances elsewhere. read more

Detour to another lab corps immediately!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a terrifying experience and I am definitely using yelp for more than just food places. The receptionist is not only inefficient and rude but she emanates hating her sad pathetic life. Also, the wait room is dark, dingy, and depressing. Open the blinds for crying out loud! So anyways, you are given a plastic cup, clearly not sterile specimen cup, and told to empty your pockets and take off your jacket and leave it in a dirty, small styrofoam box with no lock. Unattended. Fantastic. You pee in a bathroom with red tape over the sink and toilet lever and told you can't flush nor wash your hands. Gross. I was just so happy to get out of there! read more

I was told I couldn't do my testing because I had kids and there was no one there to watch them so that was pretty inconvenient because I drove from Vallejo. The next day same personality same attitude same lady. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was having a bad day but the second ass are complete same attitude. If you need to get any blood work done I would highly recommend LabCorp on Jackson. Yes, it feels wierd be endorsing such a major corporation, but the staff there are friendly and do their very best to make sure all blood work is done in a timely manner. The second time I went there was early around 9:30am on Monday morning and was greeted immediately. I brought a book to read just in case because I didn't have an appointment, but fortunately there was only 1 person in front of me, so I didn't have to wait longer than about 10 minutes. The first time I went there, I had an appointment during one their busiest times, right after work and still did not have to wait longer than 15 minutes. Of course, time is everything with this place, but I appreciate the flexibility to schedule appointments online or just come in early morning for a reasonable wait time. 5-stars for phone customer service too, especially from Sheila! Although I called about 3 times and the line was busy, when I finally got a hold of them to see if they sent the test results to my doctor, not only did they confirm the results were sent to my doctor with the date and time sent, they also re-faxed the information as well. read more

I am very surprised at the quality of service I received here! Like Jenny said, the staff was super friendly, and so very efficient. They make the process as painless as possible. After my doctors appointment he recommended me get a blood test to make sure my pancreas is not inflamed. That sounded scary so I went right away, I made it to the office a little pass 12, and they close for lunch at 12:30. I was afraid the technician(?) would be annoyed since I came so late, but she was very nice, she made sure I wasn't nervous and it was done in no time while she talked to me about growing up in NY. If your insurances covers it, I would highly, highly recommend you coming here. There are other LabCrop offices around, but I have not been to the other ones, at this location they are definitely great. read more

Yes, the greeting was as bad as you could get. She said, "Sign in". I stood for a second, afraid to ask for a pen just because of her tone. A big lady drew my blood, 100% perfect, pain free. What scares me is that I had to give them my credit card and sign an authorization that they can charge my card for whatever my insurance doesn't pay...up to $1800. My insurance is a good PPO, but never ever ever have I been forced to put a credit card on file for lab work. If I do get charged, I will update my rating. But just the fact that they do actually have a signed authorization to charge my card makes me really really nervous. read more

I had to go to this lab for a work required urine test. 1. They just gave a plastic cup for a sample with a Sharpie Line to fill up to. 2. The toilet was all taped with red tape keeping the lid up. 3. The counter around the sink had old urine marks where previous samples had been left. If I was required to get a blood draw I would have left. This office was disgusting! I was afraid to touch anything it was so dirty. Schedule your appointments somewhere else. read more

Employees are very rude and unprofessional. There seems to be only three workers there. The lady at the front disk will ignore you when you first walk in and once you speak up she'll be annoyed. After going through some other comments, that's apparently normal for her. Then there's a bigger lady with a southern accent who walks around in a bad mood and is very rude to patients. As I was sitting in the tiny dark lobby , 5 ft away she was yelling at an old man because he couldn't understand her. She kept yelling show me your insurance as he tried to respond, mine you that this man seemed to be anywhere 70+. Seriously, this has to be the most disorganized office ever. I have had a monthly standing order for blood work for almost two years but recently moved to San Jose and changed LabCorp locations. When I came here the first time, it was no issue but now that I have came back, they had no documentation or didn't make a copy of the standing order.
