Had a confirmed appointment, when I arrived at 7:00 a.m they told me it was for residents only. Complete waste of time.

Don't make an appoint here. You will not be able to get through security unless your a resident or visiting a resident.

She is also extremely kind, we even got to chat a little about life. Notice how many of the negative reviews resort to pointing people out to by race and ethnicity, on completely unfounded complaints too. You get there, check in on your phone or kiosk, they call you in to verify your name DOB, and send you on your way. If during this short of an interaction you run into any social "problems" that says something about YOU. Now if your complaint is about Quest Diagnostics as a corporation completely getting rid of the human check-in process then yes, I wholeheartedly agree with you. They have essentially betrayed their core demographic (the aging population) for profit. This is your loved ones, the disabled, the grandparents, the parents stranded with no one to help or speak to. How evil is it that they even have the 'blind or vision impaired' announcement on the TV (which only plays every few minutes by the way) that tells BLIND patients to navigate to the kiosk and swipe with 3 fingers on the tablet. Are the suits mentally all there?! Surely this violates the ADA and the DOJ should crack down on this no?

The waiting area was clean with many people waiting, the patients seemed to be helped professionally and process moving fairly efficiently. Like most of us, my wife does not enjoy getting blood drawn, but she said the staff was courteous and competent. Tip: My wife had a 10am appointment, we arrived around 9:40, it was very busy with many people waiting. She was called at 9:50 so appointment really helped. Parking: paid lot but we were able to find 2-hour street parking next to the Thrift store across the street at 9:30am on a Monday.

Booking an appointment ahead of time is definitely recommended. My appointment was at 10 a.m. During check-in at the kiosk, it gave me the option to reschedule due to their busy schedule or to "continue." I chose to continue and told myself I'd wait about 20 minutes before considering rescheduling. Surprisingly, about 5 minutes later, I received a text saying, "Your Labcorp technician is ready to see you. Please proceed to the Labcorp check-in area and your name will be called shortly." I went to the lobby, where the front desk staff verified my information and told me they'd be with me soon. My name was called a little over 20 minutes later, and the actual blood draw took less than 5 minutes. Arrive about 15 minutes before your appointment so you'll have enough time to find parking. Friendly and professional staff overall.

BUSINESS THOUGHTS: I would say/guess their business model is based of referrals which is a good 90% of their business model. So be warned, walk-ins ARE WELCOMED, BUT your service won't be as quick and or streamlined (From what I witnessed when I was there in the waiting room) So I would suggest ANYTHING informational for individual walk in services. I called to ask if they can do labs and testing she said YES. She said on the phone they could do a blood draw and test for potassium overload. When I got there she said I needed to be evaluated and the dr. Would decide if I needed to be tested. I ask how long would results take and she said 3 to 5 days it goes to a third party lab. So NO YOU DON'T DO LABS!! If you lie to me once you don't get a second chance. I will be looking somewhere else for my urgent care needs. Training is key. UPDATE: The response isn't what I was told. It wasn't a miscommunication problem. Your girl, I came in contact with needs training. She is the first person the public comes in contact with. I don't remember her name but I remember her attitude. I ask specifically if you did labs and testing her answer was NO we send it to a third party. So Instead of leaving an advertisement for your business in the response you should use your time to train your staff. I don't need to discuss this further you know what you need to do.

Unfortunately, I was initially ignored for about a minute, despite standing there clearly needing help. When I was finally acknowledged, I was told, "If you checked in, you need to have a seat and wait to be called." I explained that I was seeking assistance because I was unable to complete the check-in process. While she did eventually help me, her demeanor was not welcoming or friendly. During the check-in process, I was asked to manually enter my insurance information. My primary insurance was not appearing in the system, so I selected "out of pocket" just to complete the check-in. I debated whether I should ask for further assistance because I was already uncomfortable with the interaction. However, I eventually decided to approach Dayleen again to see if she could upload my insurance information. This time, after explaining that I needed help, I was told she was busy. It was unclear whether she wanted me to wait or return later because no guidance was given. I noticed another employee, Pauline, assisting a patient, so I asked if she could help me when she was available. Pauline was kind, professional, and gladly offered to assist me after she finished helping another patient. While I was waiting, Dayleen informed me that Pauline would not be able to help me because accessing my information would require pulling up my account, which could not be done until I was called back for my blood draw. She also stated that they could not "push me ahead of everyone else" and that I needed to take a seat and wait. At no point was I asking to skip ahead or receive special treatment. I simply needed assistance with my insurance information. When Pauline returned, I explained what had been communicated to me. Pauline reassured me that helping me was not an issue. I then expressed that I felt Dayleen had been rude and unprofessional throughout our interactions. Dayleen responded by telling me to "stop and calm down," which came across as aggressive and confrontational rather than helpful. Due to the way the situation was handled, I requested the supervisor's contact information. Dayleen provided it, but her tone remained confrontational. I greatly appreciated Pauline's professionalism, patience, and willingness to help despite the circumstances. I also want to give special recognition to Sam, the phlebotomist. Getting blood drawn makes me extremely nervous, and Sam went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. He engaged me in conversation about my personal life to keep my mind off the procedure, remained friendly and compassionate throughout the appointment, and had a very gentle touch during the blood draw. His kindness and professionalism made a significant difference in my experience. Overall, Pauline and Sam are the reason I am giving this visit 3 stars instead of 1 star. Both provided excellent customer service and demonstrated the level of professionalism and compassion that patients should expect. Unfortunately, my interactions with Dayleen negatively impacted what could have otherwise been a much more positive first experience.
