We had a wonderful experience at Medex Urgent Care! We brought our three kids in for a possible ear infection, and from the moment we walked in, the staff was kind, welcoming, and incredibly caring. The visit was quick and efficient--we were in and out in about 30 minutes without ever feeling rushed. The provider took the time to evaluate our child thoroughly and answered all of our questions. What really stood out was the thoughtful gesture of giving each of our three kids a stuffed animal. It made the visit so much less stressful and put big smiles on their faces. I made an 8:00am appoint., they are supposed to open at 8:00. Then a guy came strolling up at 8:05, didn't even say "hi", or "sorry I'm late". There were 3 of us waiting, and they took in as first patient the only one who didn't have an appoint! This is my only second time here, but not real content about it. read more

My first time visiting. Wasn't feeling well. Staff were very welcoming and ensured prompt service and rooming. I seen Danny the PA and he was awesome. Actively listened to my concerns and treated me based on my symptoms. Two days later I was flying out and was anxious flying out and wanted to make sure I was good to fly with my ear issue. Steven the Lead was so nice that he had me come in as a follow up and ensured me I would be good to fly out. He was just as amazing. Great providers here and staff were so great. I had my hip surgery almost 2 weeks ago, but I became concerned with a protrusion that developed in the bandaging the last 3 days, and was running low on my pain management medication. So, I went to Medex this morning. The administrative staff has changed although I found out that Destiny (who is awesome btw) is still there. The previous reception staff was great, and I did not think they can get any better, but, amazingly, they did. I was met by jubilant smiles from Erin and Kayla. Erin, very professionally and with much courtesy and friendliness, took my vitals. PA Danny walked in the room not even a minute later. He took a look at my current post-op bandaging, and provided me with sage advice and consultation. Danny certainly knows what he is doing. Afterwards, and as we are regulars, I told Kayla about my Daughter. Kayla then went to the back of the facility and brought out some fruit snacks for my Baby (her fav)! As I am still walking with a cane, Kayla even opened the door for me to leave without issues - she was certainly raised and educated the right way. I would also like to compliment PA Aaron whom I saw before my actual surgery. Aaron prescribed me much needed pain medication. This urgent care has horrible customer service. I called at 5:20 to see if we could get in before they close at 6. The person on the phone wanted to spend 15 minutes telling me how they take their last patient at 5:30. Had he lead with that information, we could have gotten there by 5:30 and my son wouldn't have ended up in the emergency room. read more

This 1 star is only here because I could not post with 0 stas. I am 70+ & have spinal cord injuries at cervical & lumbar. I cannot stand without severe pain, and I can't move heavy furniture. When the P.A. Danny made me sit waiting for him in an airless tiny room with the door closed for about 10 minutes, I had to escape the heat & lack of oxygen. No A/C in the room & no air since door was closed tightly. The temp in there quickly rose to more than 80 degrees, & the oxygen quickly was used up since no A/C & door was tight-fitting. I opened the door and told the staff that it was so hot & I was sweating and couldn't breathe. They became rude & insolent as I tried to find a sink to get some cold water on my hands, wrists, and face & then went to lobby to get cold water to drink. They insisted I go back to that hot, airless room, but I wouldn't let them torture me like that. With great difficulty, I moved a chair to 1 side of their outside door where some fresh air was coming in since they left it open an inch or two. The other side of the door was unlocked and able to let clients in or out. However, Danny started yelling at me saying I was blocking the door even though one side was available for anyone to come in and out. He ordered me out of the urgent care & told me never to come back. He was abusive, disrespectful of my need for air and coolness to relieve the excessive heat and lack of oxygen in that tiny room, screaming uncontrollably. His ignorance of the fact that the thermostat was in a large, open room with access to the fresh air from the slightly open front door & did not reflect the temp in that airless, tightly closed room is astounding since he's supposed to be knowledgeable as a physician's assistant. Also shocking was his ignorance that the oxygen in a tiny room with no A/C & closed off from any fresh air would quickly be used up. He emotionally & mentally & physically tormented me because he has no knowledge of heat & oxygen in a tiny room (as big as your clothes closet). Would you want to be treated by someone like him? The condition of the room could easily be recreated by putting a room thermometer in there when the open room"s thermostat reads 75, and putting a staff member in there with a small canary like they used to do in the coal mines to determine when the oxygen in the mine was used up & the men had to escape immediately. As soon as the staff member saw the canary fall over, they could escape & revive the canary. If you are disabled in any way, I recommend you do not go there where I, a very disabled person, was tortured and tormented. read more

I can not tell you what a wonderful experience we had today at MedEx. It was super easy to make an appointment and there was adequate availability. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable inside. But what makes this urgent care truly wonderful (and really - I never expected a trip to urgent care to be wonderful!), is the staff. Everyone (from the receptionist to the providers) was friendly, compassionate, and efficient! I had my two rather rambunctious young boys with me and they treated all three of us with kindness and respect. They got necessary prescriptions for the three of us over to the pharmacy before we even walked across the parking lot. This is truly how all medical care should be - attentive, efficient, and kind! Had an excellent experience at this urgent care. I went first thing on a Saturday morning. Made an appointment online the night before and there was only one other patient in the office when I arrived 10 minutes after opening. Denise and especially Nicole were wonderful, helped with paperwork and taking vitals. My appointment was with Dr. Badday and he has a great manner with patients, super friendly and understanding and generous with his time. He diagnosed my issue quickly and explained the steps I'd need to take to get better and prescribed the medicine I needed. I found this urgent care on yelp and I'm so glad to know we have a place like this in the neighborhood - I'll never go anywhere else for urgent care and last minute appointments now. read more

I can't say enough how much I liked this place. After COVID, my drs office doesn't do many in person appointments so I've been looking for a place near me. The admin staff is welcoming, professional, and very nice. The new patient paperwork was easy and they accepted my insurance. The intake nurse or physician assistant (I'm not sure) was knowledgeable and asked excellent and helpful questions. My favorite part was definitely Dr Jalal Badday. I haven't always been able to see a MD when I've gone to an urgent care or minute clinic so I was happy about that. He was warm and funny and very professional. I appreciated that he allowed me to explain my symptoms and he didn't impose what he thought it was until he had a full picture from me. 5 stars for Michael and the front desk staff that work here! I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped inside. The check-in process was simple, the place was immaculately clean and Michael was very knowledgeable! I didn't feel judged not even once during the entire process and I really appreciated that! They listened and made sure they could do what was necessary for me. I also didn't feel pressured to do anything I wasn't comfortable with financially that wasn't an immediate necessity and they let me know of any price changes ahead of time ... I will 100% be back!
