As for me, the phlebotomists are pretty friendly, sharp shooters and find my tiny veins pretty quickly... painless too. Thanks for the great service every time we come. This is the go to Quest Diagnostic for my family and I.

As a phlebotomist with over seven years of clinical experience, I am horrified by the substandard…read morecare and blatant safety violations I witnessed at this Quest location. During a pediatric draw for my child (under 5), I observed an inexperienced technician aggressively "searching" for a vein, repeatedly poking and redirecting the needle while already under the skin. Despite having a peer looking over her shoulder, that individual allowed this trauma to continue rather than intervening. As a professional, I know this technique is clinically unacceptable and risks hemolysis, which compromises sample integrity. When the technician failed the draw, she became passive-aggressive and suggested we come back another day. I refused and demanded a competent phlebotomist perform the task we were scheduled for. During the second attempt, the first technician decided to "assist" by squeezing my child's arm with excessive, unnecessary force, even with a tourniquet already occluding the vein. This resulted in redness that lasted for well over 24 hours. She further breached professional standards by ignoring my child's pleas for comfort and mocking them when the procedure ended. The unprofessionalism continued during a follow-up visit with my grandmother today. I witnessed this same staff member loitering behind the counter, crossing her arms, and openly mocking patients with needle phobia and speaking disparagingly about my family. This facility is operating with a complete lack of clinical oversight and basic human empathy. The staff here seems to forget that these are people, not just numbers; if this were their own family, I am certain they would want an advocate standing up for them as well. I am filing this as a formal complaint regarding clinical competency and patient safety.

I have had nothing but horrible experiences at this Quest Diagnostics location since becoming…read morepregnant. Every single visit has been frustrating, unprofessional, and borderline unsafe. First and foremost, the facility is filthy. For a medical setting, you would expect cleanliness to be a top priority, but that is far from the case. The waiting area and blood draw room always feel unsanitary, which is extremely concerning, especially for someone going through frequent testing during pregnancy. The staff seems completely overwhelmed, understaffed, and undertrained. Every time I have had my blood drawn, I have left with bruises or worse--one time, they even blew a vein. That is unacceptable. Proper technique should be a basic expectation at a lab facility. But the worst experience yet happened at my last appointment. As I sat in the blood draw room, a random person--who was not an employee--walked in to drop off their urine sample. That means this lab is so poorly managed that anyone off the street can just stroll into the blood draw area. This is a huge breach of privacy and professionalism. And to top it all off, the incompetence of this location directly affected my pregnancy. I had to wait two weeks for my genetic testing results, only to finally be told that they didn't even collect enough blood in the first place. Two weeks of stress, uncertainty, and waiting--completely wasted. Now I have to go through another blood draw and start the waiting process all over again, which should have never happened in the first place. This location is in desperate need of better staffing, stricter protocols, and proper training. If you are pregnant or require frequent testing, I highly suggest avoiding this Quest location if possible. The lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and competence makes it an incredibly stressful place to deal with, and no one--especially expecting mothers--should have to go through this kind of repeated frustration.

Said they are only obligated by law to provide interpreter if you have a hearing disability. Confirmed by their manager! Even though their doctor speak Chinese, but the medical assistants said the doctor is not there to translate for them. They also said if you don't have a interpreter with you in person the doctor will not see you. Apparently they speak for the doctors. Then proceeded to ask me repeatedly if I want to cancel the appointment. I said No repeatedly and they just keep asking the same question. Very unprofessional. Since when does a medical assistant gets to make that decision? The patient was referred by a family practice physician. The family physician only made referral here because their doctor speak Chinese and stated not to worry they provide interpreter service. I've worked in healthcare most of my life. The few years I didn't I served in the military. For the first time in my life I felt discrimination in the healthcare and it's not even my appointment!
