I want to give a huge thank you to the amazing ladies who helped my daughter through her bloodwork today. I wish I would have gotten the woman's name who took care of her, but I was so caught up in my emotions and stress that I didn't think to ask. I truly hope she sees this because I want her to know how much her kindness meant to us. My daughter was very nervous and scared, but she was so patient, gentle, and reassuring. With the help of her coworker assisting, they made the whole experience go smoothly and helped my daughter feel safe and comfortable. They truly went above and beyond. We didn't have an appointment, and we were in and out in about 10 minutes or less. The check in and check out process was quick and easy, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Afterward, they even gave my daughter a sticker and a squishy toy, which made her smile and helped turn a scary moment into a positive memory. I checked in at 7:20am on their kiosk since no one is at the desk. The kiosk told me my appointment is at 7:50am. I chose the option to get a text when I'm getting called in. At 7:40am I walked in and sat down. Was never called. Waited an hour just to be told I was never checked in and to make another appointment through the kiosk which said next availability is 1:40pm. When I complained they said their kiosk bugs out and if you choose the text later option it won't schedule you and I have to wait until 1:40pm. Worst experience ever I definitely will never be coming back here. All the workers were so rude too for asking simple questions. They don't want to help anyone and give so much attitude. read more

As a phlebotomist with over seven years of clinical experience, I am horrified by the substandard care and blatant safety violations I witnessed at this Quest location. During a pediatric draw for my child (under 5), I observed an inexperienced technician aggressively "searching" for a vein, repeatedly poking and redirecting the needle while already under the skin. Despite having a peer looking over her shoulder, that individual allowed this trauma to continue rather than intervening. As a professional, I know this technique is clinically unacceptable and risks hemolysis, which compromises sample integrity.When the technician failed the draw, she became passive-aggressive and suggested we come back another day. I refused and demanded a competent phlebotomist perform the task we were scheduled for. During the second attempt, the first technician decided to "assist" by squeezing my child's arm with excessive, unnecessary force, even with a tourniquet already occluding the vein. This resulted in redness that lasted for well over 24 hours. She further breached professional standards by ignoring my child's pleas for comfort and mocking them when the procedure ended.The unprofessionalism continued during a follow-up visit with my grandmother today. I witnessed this same staff member loitering behind the counter, crossing her arms, and openly mocking patients with needle phobia and speaking disparagingly about my family. This facility is operating with a complete lack of clinical oversight and basic human empathy. The staff here seems to forget that these are people, not just numbers; if this were their own family, I am certain they would want an advocate standing up for them as well. I am filing this as a formal complaint regarding clinical competency and patient safety. read more

Worst Quest diagnostic. Went to the use their bathroom and they canceled my appointment because I wasn't there when they called me. Made me check in again as a walk in patient and waited another 2 hours before they finally said walk ins will only be seen if an appointment is canceled. Waste of my time. I was not seen that day. Not the first time I've had an issue at this location. I would give Zero stars if I could. read more

You know what's sad? This place used to be pretty darn good. A blood draw took five minutes... no exaggeration, you did basic paperwork, they took you back, drew the blood, and you were done. Five minutes, ten on a busy day. Now? This place is dog shit, with incompetent and openly racist workers. I realize things have changed due to the absurd overreaction to COVID-19, but these people have completely forgotten what customer service means. First of all, their website specifically states they accept walk-ins, so our first attempt at getting a blood draw resulted in a very rude black receptionist (I didn't get her name, since she didn't have her name tag on) informed us that walk-ins were highly discouraged and that we had to make an appointment unless we wanted to wait for several hours. I'm looking around the completely empty waiting room, and the nearly empty parking lot literally a minute after they opened on a Wednesday, and I have to wonder where all the crowds were that was causing this response? But okay... whatever... may I make an appointment please? The reaction on her face looked as if I'd just suggested she eat a diseased mouse. I was (again, rudely) informed that I had to make an appointment online. Oh, silly me... here I am, standing in front of the front desk receptionist, thinking I could make an appointment... what was I thinking? Clearly, her only duties are to do intake and answer phones. Making appointments is tantamount to asking people to walk through fire around here! On the way out, I distinctly her her snort derisively and call me a "stupid white asshole". Delightful. So I made an appointment online. The next available appointment was less than 2 hours away, and they have over 15 more appointment times available that day... man, they sure were busy, I can see why they couldn't handle a walk-in with all those open appointment times! So I go back for my appointment, and I'm told I have to wait two minutes before I can check in. I'm two minutes early. Two minutes. And I have to wait to check in. I see. So I wait the two minutes. Fortunately, the receptionist had changed to a Hispanic woman who was nicer, and she told me I couldn't be seen today. When I mentioned I had an appointment, she apologized and said it had been canceled. Canceled? A blood draw? This isn't a doctor's appointment, it's a 30 second blood draw! Why was it canceled? They aren't at liberty to say. Delightful. Now, I can understand if they had to close the office at the last minute for some reason, and that's honestly what I figured had happened... it's rare, but it happens. But on the way out, I hear the receptionist tell me the next patient can be seen now. I WAS THE NEXT PATIENT!!! I stuck around for a couple of minutes and watched, and sure enough... a few other people (walk-ins) were allowed in. What the actual fuck??? Again, I can understand if I was being belligerent or disrespectful or otherwise a difficult patient, but I wasn't! I was pleasant, quiet, respectful, and properly masked up and everything. Why was I treated this way? I don't know, but I know this: there are a lot of other Quest Diagnostics centers in Stockton, and other companies I can get a blood draw from. These people can kiss my ass. They're never getting my business again. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD WITH PHLEBOTOMIST! First staff probe me twice without drawing blood, then was swapped out for another staff. This is a first time ever in my life that this had happened. WORST part is that the first staff was unapologetic about it. Three times is unacceptable! read more

This center is so great working with kids! They were so patient with my 5 year old son and gave him stickers after the whole ordeal of drama and tears. As for me, the phlebotomists are pretty friendly, sharp shooters and find my tiny veins pretty quickly... painless too. Thanks for the great service every time we come. If I could give this place a negative number of stars, I would, but since 1 is my only option, so be it. The phlebotomy technicians taking their sweet time and moving at a glacial place to greet patients at the front door move slower that rush hour LA traffic on the 405 freeway. AWFUL! When they answered the door, I let them know I was a walk in and that I didn't have an appointment because their site doesn't allow you to make one through March of 2021. Convenient right? They then proceeded to explain to me, that walk in patients get pushed back as scheduled appointments show up. You don't say? First, does a bear shit in the woods? THANK YOU FOR THAT, Captain Obvious! I was born on a Thursday, I wasn't born yesterday! Second, where TF are these people making appointments... because I've been trying for the last week. Irritated is a complete understatement and to whoever is running the show, you need to re-evaluate your bottom of the barrel phlebotomists who don't know how to speak to people. I don't normally do this, but I was so irate with my experience at this location. I had an appointment for 11am at this branch. I arrived at 10:40 am with my mask on. The receptionist DAISY took my info and escorted me outside and told me to wait in my car. When I arrived there were 2 people waiting inside and 4 chairs open. She gave me a buzzer and told me to come in when it goes off. I went back and over an hour passes and nothing. I go back in and she says, "oh we've been trying to call you" like it was my fault your buzzer doesn't work. I don't understand why I was escorted out and told to wait in my car when there were plenty of seats open and I had my mask. To make things worse, I never got 1 apology. Instead she made it feel like it was my fault my buzzer wasn't working and never acknowledged me again. read more

I would rate this location half a star if I could for location. Website indicate business hours is 6:30am - 4:00pm. But they did not say anything about drug screen. I went in about 8:00am. Check myself in on the device they have there. Waited about 10 minutes. They called me up. Then told me they only do drug screen from 10-2. So I left. Went back over there at about 11:00am. Checked myself in again. Waited about 15 minutes. Got called in, waited inside on the # 2 chair for about 15 more minutes. One of the girls told me they were getting the stuff prepare for the test. Got called to the back room. The girl said please have a seat. She was checking for my info. Could not find it. She told me because I was from the Fairfield location. So, she told me I had to go back to Fairfield to get the test done. So I got in contact with the guy that was suppose to get the test done at Fairfield location also (We got to the Fairfield location late, they stop drug screen at 3pm). He said he got it done at this location already earlier. So I went back(3rd time). When I got there, I asked them why they were able to do the test for the other guy and not me. Stephanie, said because they were able to pull his record. So I left. I thought I had to go back to Fairfield. So I went to the the one by Red Loster. Got my record pull up with no problem. Thanks to them, they save me a car ride back to Fairfield. The girl at the West March Ln location told me they could of enter my info in manually. I will rather go to the West March Ln. location anytime, even though it's farther from my house. read more

Nice staff, usually quick & not busy during the afternoon. Never had an issue with this place, until the other day.. I believe her name was Mary? She has platinum blonde hair. She kept yawning, I was a bit nervous to even get my blood drawn but I trusted her - my mistake. She poked a vein in my arm that I had never been poked at before & I left the place with an sore arm, once I took off the cotton bandage my arm was swollen. Totally Disappointed . I Don't recommend this one location. unprofessional place!. There was a Girl Name Carley, she didn't want to tell me her exactly Name. She had pretty Large Nails, the acrilic ones that you usually can have for a party, almost 3 inches long(another little finger). I asked her to please use gloves. She felt offended. I did not pay attention until, she starting throwing away her bandages to the side, and one of the tubes with blood felt down to the floor. She said, nothing happened to the blood because is inside the tube, because I needed to let her know,she just throw away one tube, that she was about to step on it. She became agressive, then I asked for a manager. She said, no manager onsite, she was rude, finally she gave one number,in which they send me to the voicemail. Totally disappointed of this location. I was reading, the reviews,and just realized. I'm not the only one, involved in this kind of situation at this place. Hope they encourage their people, to cut their nails and be neat and proseffesional at work. They are working with blood, skin, and kids like my daughter,and older people. Even if you wash your hands, with big nails, it is almost impossible to clean it completely. Also, if I throw on tube of blood to the floor. That is cross-contamination! If I put one star at it, is because I needed to put one at least. But with this type of people working for them. Probably they don't deserve even one.If you are working, with people, you should be empathic and during this time. We need more confidence from this Lab-clinics, they need to be more careful with the way they treat patients. If I can give zero star I would. I had to take the day off to take my mom to get blood draw, all she needs is an AIC. We were there before 7:30AM. They took her insurance card and gave her a pager and told her to wait in the car. 30 minutes passed and nothing. My diabetic mom went inside to inquire and was told they have a long wait time. She couldn't tell us this when we first got there? Waited another hour and by then it's been 1 1/2 hours! She went back in to inquire of how much longer and same lady (black girl) couldn't give her an approximate? So how does this place operate? They make people wait and pass out. Waited another 30 minutes and mind you, she was talking to other people outside the door and they were only waiting 30 minutes and there pager # is lower than my mom. At that point, I told her to get her requisition form and went to the one on Brookside and she was in and out. We normally don't go to this Quest but since we are dropping off someone at the other building we decided to use them. It was the biggest mistake.... I never have to make an appointment to come to this place. Walk-ins are great! There's hardly any waiting time, usually I only have one or two people ahead of me but they are very quick with them. It's literally an in and out for this place. Plus the staff is nice. The needle prick has never left me a bruise or anything either. The place is clean too! read more

I know there's closer locations from where I live but I rather drive across town to this location. It rarely has a full waiting room & they call you in almost right after signing in. They accept walk-ins, but if you plan on coming later in the day, maybe an appt would be safe. Everyone that works here is really nice & caring too! The waiting room is pretty spacious, clean, & comfy chairs! The only thing that would probably be nice is a little TV. I had to stay here for an hour for a glucose test & I was bored out of my mind.
