Went there for the first time today and was expecting worse since I read the reviews for fun. I had a set appointment at 11, arrived around 10:15, checked in, and was served right around 11. I did not experience any rude ladies there at the front desk. In fact, the gentleman at the front desk helped me with an issue and was actually nice to all others who went to ask for assistance. He was even pretty patient with non-English speaking people. The nurses do cycle to the front desk, but they go only to call the next person. What I did see were a few people (about 3-4 in the 45 mins that I was in the waiting room) coming in right at their appointment times expecting to be served immediately, without checking in. It's not accurate if you don't know the process. Let's be real, an appointment gets a planned time, but if they are early/late a bit, that's expected as these offices get LOTS of people who need lab work. A walk-in without an appointment at 10:15 had an estimated service time of 2:30 pm. Better to make an appointment. The nurse that took my blood was nice and professional! Visit this place for your lab work, just don't expect to be treated like you're at a 5-star resort and you'll be fine! read more

Everyone, patients and employees, are angry and rude. It is not a good place to be unless you want to lose faith in humanity. I witnessed patients being rude to each other, and patients being rude to the employees regarding the long wait times. It felt very uncomfortable to witness while sitting in the waiting room. Also, I waited for over two hours here, and then they turned me away because they said they are too full for today. Then, they told me to show up at 7 am tomorrow to get in line for them to open at 8 am. They did not apologize or seem sorry to say this to me. Management should make this place appointment-only if they cannot handle walk-ins. ALSO, if a Labcorp member is planning on leaving me a generic response to this Yelp review like: "Hi, We are sorry to hear that this was your experience at the Upland, CA Patient Service Center. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will look into this issue further." Just know that that is a USELESS comment for me and anyone else coming to your business. Why give me an extremely generic response to my message if you aren't going to fix this? Maybe actually fix the wait times by getting rid of walk-ins or having a much easier, well-functioning scheduling system. If it is fixed, then I will value your response. read more

First time to this location. Parking was easy, large building, wasn't well marked for Labcorp. Extremely small waiting room, only seats 8. Waited an hour and a half WITH an appointment! Can't even imagine what people without appointments were waiting. The staff is nice enough, but they should not have been taking ANY walk in's in the appointments aren't being done on time. My daughter was having an anxiety attack when she had to get labs done and the woman named Jackie that was going to draw her blood had no sympathy she said get over it your big. I visited this Labcorp location this morning for routine lab work. I've always had a good experience here with the staff and facility. The lab shares a parking lot with multiple doctor's offices and the lot is rather small--and usually full. If you're not lucky enough to grab a spot in the lot, there's usually parking available on the street along Thirteenth Ave. The lab is always busy and crowded. I highly recommend making an appointment online to minimize your wait time. Upon arrival, I checked in on the tablet, dropped my orders into the appointment bin at the desk and informed the receptionist I had an appointment. He verified my information right away, took my payment and gave me a receipt, and told me to wait right there as I would be called next. The tech was friendly and efficient! I always have great techs here and receive excellent care. She was talkative and helpful. I was in and out in no time. read more

I got here just after 3 PM it's open until 4 PM. I was able to sign in and choose stand by. As soon as I signed in the older lady at the front desk said they were all booked for the rest of the day and they were full. She lied and said the system didn't complete my check in. That's not how systems work. If she was able to see my name on her computer it definitely went through. Then I said I'll sit and wait until 4 PM to see if anyone shows up then she said you know what I'm telling you right now we're not gonna service you even if people don't show up and you wait. This was for my 6 year old daughter who really needed to get blood work done. Don't come here the workers are basically liars and I wouldn't trust them. She basically said all the appointments were booked even though I was able to check in for stand by. And basically even if people didn't show up she still wouldn't take me. Came in as a walk in at 8:30am, checked in and got an estimate of 1.5hr wait, got a text right on the estimated time, came promptly into the office & they asked for my paperwork which I gave them and the front desk told me 5 mins to be called back. It still took another 1 hour to be seen. Truly wish the time estimates were more accurate and that the front desk wouldn't lie to me for no reason? Honesty is the best policy. Today, I was here for physical lab purposes. I was referred here by my primary doctor office to get the panel done. It was easy to find, located across the street from San Antonio Hospital. It was a very clean facility inside and outside. Currently, they close noon to 1 pm for lunch. I showed up a few minutes before 1pm as a walk-in. I really didn't wait for more than 15 to 20 minutes. Check-in was really easy as I did at the kiosk. The Asian lady at window #3 did awesome work! When she took my blood draw, I didn't even feel it. Nice and easy!!! She also gave me clear instructions before doing my last in-house test and for my at home test to mail in. Great experience here today!!! Great experience at this LabCorp. Made an appointment for my daughter and the process was smooth and easy. Waiting about 5 minutes before we were called in. Blood draw literally took a minute and my daughter said it didn't hurt at all. The ladies here are also nice and on top of things. Trying to get everyone in and out. Only down side is only having one bathroom that is always busy, so we had to bring the urine sample cup home then drive it back. It's not a big deal because we live close by, but I can see how it may be frustrating for others. Also, appointments fill up fast so your appointment may be a week out, which if fine if it's not urgent. read more

The last couple times I came here it was bad , the nurses can never find my vein and I get poked at least 3 times . I have passed out before when I came here my first time . The first time I was here I didn't know what to do ,they just yell at you like you should know and they seem annoyed. UNLIKE OTHER TIMES , I got a glucose test done and was expecting it to be horrible and thought I would come out with my arm bruised from all the pokes . But surprisingly, I had a good time. I made an online appointment for 8:30am a week in advance. I arrived at 8:15 to check in as they suggested I do. I arrived at my appointment and there were people filling both sides of the hallway. I had no idea what was happening until I asked someone. I found out you had to stand and wait in the hallway until called. There was no seating, and you couldn't even hear if your name was called because people were talking in the hallway and the reception desk was at the back of their lobby. I was finally called back at 9:15 for my 8:30 appointment. I was furious. I'm giving this location 3 stars because I hit super lucky and had the most friendly phlebotomist ever. In fact she was so sweet and really good at her job I didn't even feel the poke nor did I bruise hours afterwards. It was the quickest, gentlest and most pleasant experience I have ever had. She also apologized for the wait. I guess the location down the street closed down and they had to take appointments from both offices that week which was why the huge crown & wait. read more

She has tiny vein even at hospital she having hard time . Getting multiple stab to get to it and during procedure is painful. Usually have no issues, staff friendly and always blood drawn with no pain or bruising... but this time, for my husbands draw.. a male nurse (I've never seen there before) drew his blood and was very rough and rude, when my husband had a question , his answer was "I'm not done talking!"... also I've never seen or had blood drawn from the upper part of elbow bend! And the bruise that developed is scary! Maybe a refresher on Bedside Manner and or if you're not happy with your job, don't take out on patients? read more

Looking at the reviews, I was a little nervous I was going to be in and out. Luckily l can say my experience was pretty good. There is limited parking but I found a spot on the side of the road. When I walked in the security guard asked if I was there for Labcorp and told me to wait. He checked the room to make sure there was space. I did have an appointment and I recommend having one. They have check in scanners. Then you wait. I didn't wait too long. Tiffany took my blood and she did an excellent job making me feel comfortable. I'm a little nervous with needles but honestly it wasn't bad at all. She was quick and accurate. Definitely recommend this LabCorp for getting your blood tested. Not enough chairs or waiting space in the lobby area, and they said the landlord doesn't allow crowding in the lobby or hallways. so you have wait outside of the building if there's no space. This is what they did to my wife. She already asked for a butterfly needle because she just had 5 pokes of blood work from the clinic. She begged for the LabCorp nurse to be gentle and to give her the smallest needle as it is also her RIGHT to ask for it. She gave a reason that butterly needle will not be able to provide the right result if that was used. In fact, I thought it was the blood that would give the result from whatever it is asked for results from. This is the 2nd time we came here for bloodwork and our visit is always this bad! Plainly rude. Except the one in front of desk. She is nice. The needle is too big inserted to her left arm. The requirement is to take 4 vials of blood. The nurse inserted it rudely and left a needle-mark on my wife's arm with this. She was in pain and dizzy even after the bloodwork. Which the nurse did not even cared for her after the work is done! Yhe nurse pulled the needle our heavily for my wife and she was upset leaving her in a traumatizing feeling. She was left there alone and didn't even come back to check on her! Rude nurse! I've been coming here for years with no issues, actually it was the best LabCorp I've gone to because of their short wait times and how fast they go through patients when they are busier. Me and my husband both came in for blood work today, June 23rd and not only were they excessively busy, as in people waiting all over in the halls but the woman signing people in named Patsy was extremely rude to not only my husband but many of the other patients. I never write reviews but LabCorp Upland was extremely bad today. A security guard stood at the door and barked orders at people. Questioned people and raised his voice to the point of yelling! He did this to women, elderly, and minors! It was unbelievable. Once inside the staff was so rude. It actually surprised me considering the younger staff members are always so nice! I just would like to warn people that this location is actually closed. I had an appointment that took weeks to get and I checked in online, in my car, per their email recommendation I even had an email confirming that I was checked in and to wait in my car. After 40 minutes, I decided to go inside the building and discovered a small piece of paper hiding on a door with 6 other signs regarding the COVID rules, that says this location is temporarily closed with no information of how long the closure is going on for. There were lots of people confused because all the other signs on the door were in English and Spanish but the "closed" sign was only in English, so many people did not understand what was going on. I hope that LabCorp can at least let those with future appointments know ahead of time of the closure and please make your signage accessible to all. read more
