Our tub was stopped up with a part…read morethat had rusted and fell back inside the drain and, after 4 days of trying to clear it ourselves (Google) and then being pitched to replace it with a walk-in shower for $10k by a plumber my husband called that said no way to get the drain cleared without knocking out a wall to get to the pipes and no telling what all he would find once he got in there. Very upsetting and that night I printed off the Contract that BEST PLUMBING sent over and was just sick to think we may have to get a mortgage on our home to get our bathroom remodeled. I prayed about it and gave it to God. The next morning, our phone rang and it was Morgan from Moon Plumbing. She told me my husband had called the day before and that she could send a plumber out THAT DAY between 12-2:00 to fix our drain. Folks, to me, that was a God Moment. Well, at quarter after 12:00 Matt and Hermot pulled up and long story short...FIXED THE DRAIN! It took the heavy equipment...a Sportim 100? It wasn't a five minute job....Matt and Hermot didn't give up. At the end, they pushed it all the way through and cleared the drain! The entire time, they were really nice and respectful and I can't say enough good things about them. THANK YOU MOON PLUMBING! You are in my phone Contact list forever and I will share our story with anyone. And, they charged a fair price $275. And, tub has been draining great ever since. $ Handyman Alex SERVICE REQUESTED: I was able to reach out…read moreto Alex with no problem at all, and I described the issue with the toilet - simply running for an extended period after a routine flush, which I recognized as a "flapper" problem, the rubber flapper was not seating properly and the water ran until shutting off the valve. Alex was quick with his reply and we arranged to meet at my home on the 4th of July, and he arrived exactly on time. At first, it took a few moments to catch on to his accent. This very pleasant handyman is formerly a Russian, and he is perfectly happy to be alive and working in the home of the brave. In he walked, very confident, with a fairly lrge satchel full of assorted tools. I brought him to the site of the offending troublesome valve and he set to work on it at once. In what was probably less than 20 minutes, he had the toilet flushing perfectly, at least 4 times, allowing a fill each time. Congratulations Alex! QUALITY: One cannot argue with success. The job was handled properly, promptly, with hardly a word spoken. At one point, he wanted to draw my attention to a part, and when he wasn't able to say it, he apparently tooked it up and showed me the translated word on his phone. Clever, this fellow, quick and clever. VALUE: Alex had agreed with me in advance regarding the fee. He was happy to take my check and after talking with me in general about some painting (Ceiling) I might wish to complete, for which he gave me a fine estimate, he drove away. SUMMARY: Alex did exactly what he was asked to do. There was no holding out for more money or any such nonsense. Fee was perfect. Very highly recommended without reservation.
