I don't think Lacoste will ever go out of style. Need something collared without going overboard? Pick a polo! Want to make it more feminine? Polo dress! Want to add sporty casual to your work outfit? Polo vest! There is a polo answer to everything! Lacoste really has customer service down. The employees are very knowledgable of their product and sizing, but are adamant for trying on clothes before buying. They go so far as to pull brand new products from the back for you everytime instead of using the stuff on the floor. However, the bad side to this is the fact that you are completely dependent on the 2 employees. If the store is remotely busy, you'll have to wait to get help, even at the cash register since they pull new product for you to buy. So customer service is great but is also a hindrance. read more

I walked in the store already knowing about the reviews here, and I've came in here before and experienced the service. However, today was the day I was going to buy something, which I already knew what because I shopped beforehand online. Ayako helped me get my watch and she was nice and happy, but the manager... my oh my.. why would you have such an unpleasant tone and energy? My goodness, it felt so awkward to be next to her because she sounded like she just didn't wanna be there, no wonder people write bad reviews about this place. Thankfully I already knew what I wanted because if I didn't, I sure as hell wouldn't wanna spend anymore time in there. I bought a nice watch because I've been needing one, if I need something else, I'll probably get it online (and there's more selection there) the store doesn't have as much. read more

Visited the store Black Friday like I usually do. They had a wait and only allowed 10 at a time. A good way to control chaos. I had no problem waiting, but what I did have a problem with was the customer service that I received from the manager Virginia. The store was not overly packed with customers like the past years. Shirts were neatly folded unlike years prior. I was looking for a certain size for a men's polo shirt. The salesperson who was helping was also helping another customer. While I waited for her, I seen these plastic bins that were opened and which was filled with polo shirts. I looked through an open bin and I was told so rudely by a worker that I shouldn't look in the bin and that I should ask for help. I don't know about her, but if she put her shoes in mines I'm sure she wouldn't like to be scolded like a child. She didn't even offer any help. After several minutes, she had returned from the back and I expressed to her how I didn't appreciate her tone of voice and her complete lack of customer service. She had apologized in a non sincere manner and she just walked away. Virginia- learn customer service from your employees- they do it well and with a smile! I have gone to this location in the past on a Black Friday with so many customers and shirts being everywhere and the workers still smiled and always offered assistance. Do yourself a favor and visit the Waikele Lacoste. They seem to have some staff members from Ala Moana and they truly have great customer service!!! read more

Lacoste shirts have a timeless and classic look with clean lines, simple colors, and of course the infamous crocodile. Their quality products stack up with a lot of other brands and simply put: are a little pricey. Needless to say, I occasionally will peruse the selection of the store and occasionally make a purchase. After all, how many black polos do you really need (I count six in my closet, but don't judge me!)? They last for a good time and quality shirts don't fade despite how many times you wash it (...or don't...). My recent visits to the Lacoste store on the third floor of Ala Moana Center haven't exactly been the most memorable, nor disappointing. I appreciate the laid back, un-pretentious sales team that didn't push their products right in front of you or hound you as if you were a piece of red meat in the lion's den. However, the store was rather unorganized and it appeared that we were in the middle of floor set despite the fact that it was the middle of the day and about 20 or so people were filling the small-ish space. I can appreciate their sales style...however I don't think I can appreciate the mess when I'm paying $70 for a polo. read more

It was on the day of an outdoor funeral that I first stopped by this boutique some years ago after work looking for something comfortable, casual but presentable that I could continue to wear well after the event. I was in a rush because the service was to begin in an hour and I needed to find something to wear from the mall, and then drive to the ceremony. I was greeted promptly and allowed to browse without frequent interruptions. I found a black style I liked and the clerk took the time to get an untouched one from the back for me to try. I mentioned I was interested in wearing the outfit immediately and was shocked when the clerk offered to steam the wrinkles out! I chose to skip the steaming because I was in a rush and didn't know how long the service might take, but I was impressed none the less. Over the years I've returned to this boutique because the personnel are excellent. They're friendly, helpful, and share honest opinions when asked. I like that they always walk around the cash-wrap and personally hamd the tissue-wrapped garments in trendy shopping bags to me at the end of a transaction. They even handwrite notes to regulars when sales and events are about to take place. It doesn't hurt that the products are of good construction and feel really good to wear too :). read more

The shirt I purchased had shrunk so bad after one washing, and when I asked what they can do they made me feel awful by saying my name is not even on the list of people who bought from them. Asked if I put the shirt in the dryer. Gave a bad attitude by basically telling me it's my fault. How disappointing- I not only got a bad shirt. I was also treated junk. read more

This is what happened to my wife, at the hands of her unethical and immoral employer, Lacoste USA. Due to an auto accident over a year ago, she had to have neck surgery last month. She was working part-time for over 4 years at Lacoste at Ala Moana, Honolulu, and was one of their top and most reliable salespeople. She worked it out with Virginia, her manager (term used loosely), to be off work for her recovery for 3.5 weeks in accordance with their business needs. Beyond that, she was told she may have to quit and be rehired later. As requested, she provided a doctor's note for surgery on 1/12/21 with a return-to-work date within that timeframe. 13 days after the surgery, she got a notice from her insurance carrier that her benefits were ending on 2/1/21 because her employment had been terminated. We were shocked! Lacoste terminated her 2 days BEFORE her surgery and never told her! We even saw Virginia that same day (1/10/21), and she never said anything. When I communicated with HR, they said that according to HR's conversation with the dingbat manager (a sentiment shared by everyone at that store), they were uncertain of her return-to-work date so they pre-emptively terminated her "due to business needs". Ironic that she arranged her surgery date in accordance with those business needs. The manager lied to HR and said she explained this to my wife before her last day. Then why did she request a doctor's note AFTER that?? And what was the point of the doctor's note with a return-to-work date? Of course, then they started inventing conversations to cover their culpability and ineptitude. Not one notification, not one e-mail or anything else written to support this. Just when she needs her insurance the most, Lacoste tossed her by the wayside - with all the hypocritical get-well-soon wishes. Please spread the word as to how Lacoste USA mistreats their employees! read more

Horrible customer service! Walked in and there was no greeting at first i thought the store had no one working there. We continued to walk around the store, making our selves present. Still no greeting or offer for help. Asked the guy for help and he just looked at me like I was dum. When I finally walked away and wasn't even looking at him he ask if we needed help, funny thing is HE WAS STILL BEHIND THAT COUNTER! He didn't follow to "try and make a sale" he just stood right behind that counter and didn't move away from it! Don't waste your time and money here! They oviously don't need it! read more

Very kind people with great customer service. I don't have a Lacoste store where I live so I usually have to order all of my crocodile clothes so being able to walk in and look at all of the stuff and be helped was great. So great I ended up spending $800 my first visit. They also wrap up all of your clothes and put them in a very nice bag which made them very easy to pack to take back to Alaska! read more

Went in there on Oct 3rd, 2012- around 11:00 -ish. Stopped in with my family. Was looking for a dress for my daughter. Sales lady was actually pretty rude- Asked her a question to which she gave me a curt reply and couldn't even drag herself away from behind her register. There was no other customer in the store at the time. I have been in there a few other times and service was great- and will usually order online from their store- so I was quite surprised at the treatment I was given. Maybe she was preoccupied? or was suffering because of the huge scarf tied around her neck that seemed like it was going to attack her face at any given moment. Whatever the reason, I walked out and went to Nordstroms where they were only too happy to offer assistance and were very kind! I ended up purchasing $300.00 worth of stuff for my daughters, so they were pretty happy. Take note salespeople...Just because some of us 'locals' are dressed down that day- doesn't mean we don't have the money to buy nice stuff!!!!!!!!!! read more

I had seen some men shoes that looked awesome so we had to stop here and look to see what they have. I can just say that have excellent customer service. As soon as we walked in it became a grand experience. They werent pushy or hawk-ish (didn't follow you around the store). They were however eager to help when we had questions. They also had a great sale at the time of our visit. That was a plus. We didnt have a sticker shock so you guys should check this store out you will be plesantly surprised with the prices and the quality of the merchandise. read more
