Lynn is such a talented nail technician with very unique gel nail decor. Her business recently moved into the Salon District and what a gorgeous little salon it is! Modern and bright, with a new pedicure chair and nail station with the coolest fan to capture the dust. I recently had the pleasure of being pampered with a gel pedicure (with hot towels!) and a gel manicure. Be prepared for a real treat when you get a pedicure here. She does not use hot water foot soak but instead an amazing hot towel experience that feels great. A very comfortable and relaxing experience. The gel manicure products are the best I've had on my nails and they last for weeks. I love the glitter powder she uses to give your nails an extra oomph. I have had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Lynn Weber, for years, and I couldn't be happier with the results! She is incredibly professional and always asks me about my preferences and any allergies I may have before starting. She is also very thorough in cleaning and sanitizing all of her tools and the workstation, which gave me peace of mind during these COVID times. We both wash our hands and then begin. This is a tiny (one client at a time) room in a larger studio full of tiny rooms (with each room being a different business). Definitely a strange and new setup to me. How much you like this place is going to depend on your nail objectives. If you're looking to relax and chat with friends and stick your feet in a bowl, you're not going to hate this. If you're looking to have pretty, very durable nails that last, you're going to love this. Lynn is great. Friendly and good at what she does. Omg finally someone that knows what they are doing!! Thanks to my sister Lea that told me about Lynn so of course in had to follow! So went to Lynn not really expecting to have my gel nails last longer than a week. I workout almost everyday and do lots of house work in and outside so the manicures I get have to be awesome. Waited to do this review for 3 weeks to see how long they would last. Well they lasted for a full two weeks!!! Yayyyyyy. Lynn did an amazing job in thought for sure they would have chipped off and finally on the 3rd week they finally starting chipping l, but my nails didn't even break like they usually do underneath. So thrilled my sister found Lynn! She has a great selection of polishes and does the manicures a little different which is why they last so long and my nails weren't broken underneath. After reading several reviews, I decided to go here for a pedicure. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. I was expecting the usual massage chair and jet foot bath. Not here. They fill up a small tub and stick your feet in it while you're sitting in a make-shift pedicure chair. The "lounge" is not a lounge what so ever. It's a tiny, closet sized room. It's only you and the person doing your nails in the room at one time. And it's a good thing because you couldn't fit another person in there! The place was very clean and professional looking and I greatly enjoyed the nail technician and the conversation we had. So happy to find Lynn!! I had just about given up on gel nails as my nails had been ruined by the last couple of places I visited. I couldn't take the metal scraping of my fingernails any longer. Lynn applies a thick clear coat on top of the nails and then the color on top of that. When you return for a fill, she files off the paint color but not the clear coat, therefor never filing or scraping your real nails. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! She has plenty of colors to choose from! This place is beyond amazing. I was in LV last weekend to watch some March Madness games with my boyfriend and his friend. Needless to say, the time came when I needed a little break and saw the awesome reviewed on Lacquered Up. I doubted I'd get an appointment on such short notice but decided to text (yes, text!) Dawn anyway...she squeezed me in at 4:45 and I was thrilled. My excitement turned to panic as I am SUPER indecisive at salons. I'm that girl that takes 20 minutes to choose between 2 shades of red. Luckily, I found their Instagram and Facebook that had tons of pictures from happy customers. I saw one with black gel nails with gradient glitter and was sold! I brought the picture into Dawn and she was able to recreate them beautifully! The atmosphere is awesome...beautiful decorations and a movie on. We talked the whole time and Dawn paid very close attention to detail. I left loving my nails and am always finding excuses to show them off! I was super excited to try a new place. The ladies were super nice and got me in quick. The work space was really cute and boutique, but it all ended there. The color options were very limited. The tech told be she had 12 years for experience, but couldn't removed the gel polish I had on. After soaking by nail in removed which didn't work she figured a way to remove it BUT she left polish on the sides of every nail.. I asked for design I has seen on there site and she unable to do it which was disappointing. I had lumps in my nails before she applied the base because she didn't file down the orginal base. When i told her there was lumps she said that it was because I had on hard gel (old polish was soft) she couldn't smooth it out but not to worries the polish was self leveling. Needless, to say in the end I had lumps and old polish for days and it begin peeling after 4 days.. I guess the search continues. read more

I went to Lynn in 2011 for a few of months for gel nails. During that time, I never no-call-no-showed, I always kept my appointments, and I was never late for the appointments I set. I stopped going to Lynn when she gave away my appointment because I didn't text her back to confirm it. I never got her initial text because of poor cell phone service, and she called me on my way to work to inform me she was giving away the appointment I had scheduled. I was going out of town that weekend for an important event, and I had to scramble to find another nail tech to get a fill. I have told this story to countless people, and I get the same look of disgust every single time. There are MANY very good nail techs in Las Vegas, and I can't believe anyone could stay in business treating people the way I was treated. I have never had anyone cancel an appointment because I didn't text them back to confirm it - not a hair stylist, not a doctor, not anyone, until that day. I've since found a less expensive nail tech who does wonderful work and would never disrespect my time the way Lynn disrespected mine. read more
