Usually never a good experience. Be careful when you purchase from this junk yard. Their prices are very high and they will charge you for 10 different parts on a one single piece of item! They don't seem to value customer service and making it affordable, even if you are a repeated customer! There's a manager there who seems to charge you out of the wahzoo. She is very strict in making sure she catches all the 10 pieces to your one part. It is getting ridiculously expensive and unreasonable the way they find ways to tack on charges. What is wrong is where they don't ask you what part of the vehicle it is before just assuming and charging you what they feel is correct. Oh and they don't read back what they charge you for before you pay, before you know it you are charged 15 items when you only purchased 3 parts. Seriously, they find ways to slip in charges without you knowing. Be careful when buying from this junk yard and make sure you understand your parts and question your bill before you pay. I'm very disappointed with the way that this establishment has developed over the years. I wasn't going to write this review but looking now I just want to let people know that they have not changed their behavior and are very rude and disrespectful when it comes to misunderstanding the way things work in their establishment. Their yard is very undercut and dangerous and their staff are under trained and disrespectful and call the police every time they are inconvenienced. They don't know anything about customer service they're just looking to make a quick dollar and Jesse is well aware of the behavior of his employees and refuses to step up and make a change for the betterment of the establishment and his relationship with his customers. I've been going to the East bethel location under Jesse frederickson's control for over 15 years and he does not recognize me as a regular customer. His main focus is a dollar and not the customers. The had a pig blocking the door to the entrance of the sales floor for hours during a memorial day sale. Not consideration for their customers at all. I don't recommend wasting money here. This place does not value their customers whatsoever. They are constantly changing their prices and do not honor what they have advertised on their website. The customer service is very poor. My interactions with employees have been downright rude. I don't know it its todays charged atmosphere or what, but I remember the days when people were nice, wanted to not only "earn" your business but keep it too. It's gotten bad with the new owner not knowing the parts . Being told that I have to pay extra for a welded Silverado door hinge made no sense you can't get it off it wrecks the door they're being real cheap real Petty they upped their cover charge and we're charging for their normal standard 30-day warranty now they don't because they realize they're being managed terribly by this new owner no one will stand up to the lady but I have bought three parts online brand new that were the same or cheaper than pulling them they are getting dirty getting stung by bees and treated like crap I've been going there over 20 years it's the worst it's ever been read more

They charge you $2 just to enter the yard where are the vehicles are stored, not a big deal, however they do not update the website AT ALL as far as vehicle parts go. When I got there, I told the gal at the desk that I was looking for a hood for my vehicle, she said that they had one on a particular vehicle, the other vehicle I was looking at it was gone. I went out to the yard to look at the vehicle that she said was available, not only did it NOT have a hood, most of the front end was gone. A total waste of 1.5 hrs of my time. Very rude! Their website talks about a friendly helpful environment but all the guys do here is swear and berate customers. I think they forget that they are still a business... yes they are selling us cheap parts but we are still giving them money. By far the BEST junk yard ever!!! They usually have what your looking for, and the prices...AWESOME The most expensive part in the yard is $200 which is the whole engine. Over a course of about six years I've had a window in my car broken out twice, through my insurance it would have cost me $50.00 at the junk yard it cost me $6.00 The down sides, if you live in or near Minneapolis, its a far drive, they charge a $2.00 fee to get into the yard which is nothing considering the prices your paying, and you have to know something about cars because your out there pull the parts off the car yourself, hence the name. read more

My husband went to the Rosemount branch looking for a specific part for a transmission for our Honda CR-V. He found one. They wouldn't sell it to him; they said he'd have to buy the whole transmission assembly. He left, but called as soon as he got home and asked them to save the part for him. They said they would. Surprise: They didn't. They freaking THREW IT AWAY. Instead of selling it to him, they pitched it. Customer service: nonexistent. Intelligent sales staff: nowhere to be found. The staff is and always has been very rude and condescending to their customers. As I am purchasing my items prior to 5 o'clock closing time The cashier attacks me saying that I need to cash out sooner and loudly elaborates about what kind of person he thinks I am. I simply came to get a tire and a different cashier is so uneducated that he cannot coherently spell a four digit number in order for me to find the car in the yard I am looking for. Absolutely love this place. I can't even count how much $ I have saved by coming here. The yard is generally pretty clutter free, there's enough room between vehicles to get to any parts that you want and there's a decent turnover. Posting pics (on Facebook) of the vehicles as they are set in the yard is also very helpful. The employees have always been great too. read more

I just want to start by saying "wow"....what a bunch of idiots....You would think the cashier and the manager would know parts...THEY WORK IN CAR PARTS DAY IN DAY OUT....I go and find a BMW 330 (e46) trailing arm that I need. Cashier says its a spindle and knuckle and was trying to over charge me. I said "huh? wait, no that's a trailing arm off a bmw thats in the rear. So he goes online to try and find the part to prove me wrong...LOL I go to REALOEM.com and show him the part that says its a trailing arm. So, he says he needs to talk to the manager. Comes back and tells me, well his manager said its a spinel and knuckle because it has a wheel hub and speed sensor. "speed sensor?" where does the speed sensor go and since when does a car have a spindle and knuckle in the rear??? Make sure you go the their price list and know what your buying and for how much. They will try to rip you off and call a part something else that its not. What a bunch of morons....I was laughing all the way home. DO NOT GO THERE. We called & they said they had the car we needed. When we got there the story was "we think its out there but have no idea if the parts you want are there" and they gave us a number to find the car with. It is what it is, a junk yard. The employees are what you would expect from a junk yard. They are not there to help you, it isnt "we-pull-your-parts." so dont expect them to. Thats your job. Now saying that, this location isnt the greatest. East Bethel is by far better. There is a complete list of prices on their site, and for the other reviewers that apparently can not read, have entitlement issues, and lack common sense and courtesy, there are clearly posted rules in store and online. The one that applys to Jarrod B and Dillion K would be Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to closing time. Its really not all that difficult to read or understand. There is a huge sign in the store. Dont be a garbage dumpster baby like those two. I highly suggest reviewing the rules before going, things like no one under 16, no sandals, no blowtorches, etc. are good things to know. Who wants to be like Matt K, talking about others being uneducated and in the same sentence saying "spelling four DIGIT word"...
