I go here to buy sexy summer and evening dresses and Brazilian bikinis. They have the most beautiful, original designs straight from Rio. I promise you you won't see anyone else wearing what you purchase there. Everything is carefully selected that is being sold and she has quality not quantity. One Brazilian designer they carry here is Morena Rosa. Beautiful fabrics and cuts. I definitely recommend buying bikinis from here. I bought 3 of the same design but in different colors for when I went on vacation to Aruba. Cute boutique labeled everything neat and clean. They had sale racks, plus sizes, etc The lady greeted us after looking for a few minutes I had a dress in my hand she took it and put it on the side for me. My daughter picked two more dresses and she was able to try them on. After all she ended up with a nice long green gown. It was priced $109 with tax $113 there was a small issue with one of the fem missing on top I just wish the lady granted some kind of discount since obviously it was viable and those types of dresses are final sale. But it's okay my daughter loves the dress

I spoke with the manager/ owner of this store, and he explained the reasons behind why he started this women's clothing store. He states that there's so much waste that happens after stores have their remaining inventory. He gets all the clothes on discount and sells it all for less than what you would purchase it for at a store. I did see some name brand clothes like Limited, Express, and Jcrew (just to name a few). None have been worn before, so it isn't secondhand clothes. If you would like to try the clothes on there's two changing rooms. If you're in the mood to dig through items but they are all hanging in the right spots. Check this store out! He gave me a free scarf for my first purchase.

The recipient of the gift in question seems to shop often and a lot. She seems to be great at guessing what brands people are wearing and knows styles from AX to H&M to Forever21. Yet, she enjoys receiving gifts from folks, just not from places she knows too well. So with that in mind and the help of some female friends who were already shopping, I somehow ended up here. Greenpoint Avenue isn't home to a lot of these types of businesses. This section of the Sunnyside neighborhood reminds me of the Steinway area in Astoria, except with less clothing stores and way more Hispanic businesses. Baby Blue stands out because I'm told this location is new and the clothes are affordable. Customer service was snooty to me and were generally not helpful. Maybe they thought I was some creepy, perverted male parading the store asking pseudo-superficial questions to pretend I was interested. In the end, I managed to find a "going out" top for $15 and apparently it was on sale. Best part though, was the gift made the birthday girl's night. She thought it was from one of her female friends, but was shocked to find out it was me. Ecstatic and impressed, she said she would be wearing this top soon. Her BF on the other hand asked me when I was going to start working there and I immediately became the hetero man's laughing stock. The laughing stopped as soon I as replied, "Yes, I'll get her a thong next time."

this became my unofficial fourth bridal store stop as i passed by this store on my way back to the…read moresubway (after buying my stamens from pattycakes baking supply store) who knew that junction blvd would be a trove of information on planning a wedding?! this store is very friendly considering i barge in here without an appointment and just checked gowns - and their gowns are very moderately priced. they carry mori lee and mon cherie - though their samples are not extensive, im almost certain that this store wont charge me an arm and a leg for alterations and whatnots. you gotta go to the bowels of the store to get to the bridal section though because as soon as you walk in, you will be greeted with a whole slew of special occasion underwear - girdles and other whatnots. they also carry formal shoes. i didnt try on anything yet, but if i find something that i like from the brands they carry, i will most probably buy it from them.
