It wasn't until i took out a boxer out of a package to figure out the right size on my own, when one of the employees behind the counter already assisting a customer stopped and spoke out loud asking if I needed help yet gave me such a dirty look. I said no i'm okay after already helping myself on my own, not only did she stay staring for a good while, she lowered her voice and started talking about me with the customers and employees all looking at me like some weirdo. Honestly this will be the last time I'm stepping foot in such uncomfortable place, I don't understand how these people even got a job at this place, with no training at all. No hospitality, just straight up making people feel bad. As someone who has worked in retail, it's never hard to be helpful at your workplace, a small sweet gesture could make someones day and unfortunately this place cannot do the bare minimum.

I needed to buy a gift card as I was looking at the gif cards the cashier comes over and says you need an ID to buy those which I found odd since I had not even said how I was paying, she continues to tell me I need an ID, Finally I pull out my ID and my Carters Credit Card and AFTER I swiped my card she said no you can't use the Carters card.. I found that odd.. So I walked out the store and I called the 800 number. Where it was stated to me that YES I can buy a gift card with my credit card and NO I don't need to show ID..I then proceeded to go back to the store to double check that i wasn't charged for the gift card since I had swiped my card. The cashier said well when you get your statement you will see if you got charge.. I told her absolutely not she was going to check right there and right now and I also informed them at that moment that was still on the phone with 800 and the tone changed quickl. I ended up going to another Carters with again ID and Card in hand and they sold me the gift card. I dont know if it was that I didn't look like them or maybe they taught that I didn't work whatever it was I felt profiled by this women at the Carters on Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood NY

this became my unofficial fourth bridal store stop as i passed by this store on my way back to the…read moresubway (after buying my stamens from pattycakes baking supply store) who knew that junction blvd would be a trove of information on planning a wedding?! this store is very friendly considering i barge in here without an appointment and just checked gowns - and their gowns are very moderately priced. they carry mori lee and mon cherie - though their samples are not extensive, im almost certain that this store wont charge me an arm and a leg for alterations and whatnots. you gotta go to the bowels of the store to get to the bridal section though because as soon as you walk in, you will be greeted with a whole slew of special occasion underwear - girdles and other whatnots. they also carry formal shoes. i didnt try on anything yet, but if i find something that i like from the brands they carry, i will most probably buy it from them.

Then you think, ugh... the price tag... $69, ok kind of expensive maybe its just not worth it. So you leave this dressing room to see a sign, it says 50% off... that little finance devil on your shoulder disappears in a cloud of black smoke. You pay for it and skip down the street, happy with your cute little find. Ok, fine here is a real review, the place is amazingly cute and it is easy to want to try everything on. The only reason this place is not five stars is that the dressing room is just behind a wooden screen door, so there is no door into it, which makes you feel a bit uncomfortable.
