One of the most interesting restaurants in Lafayette. The decor is wild and it's dark. When you walk out you feel like you been in a cave for days. The food is okay. They do really good chicken wings and they did have a good rabbit, but the waiter said the farm they used got blown away by one of the hurricanes that came through. I usually get a chicken chimichanga it's huge and very filling, but this time I wasn't super hungry after the wings so I got an original 1957 fiesta, which was lighter and cheaper and still decent. What you really come here for is the margaritas. They will brighten your day. You can get what they call dots in them. Where they inject a little bit of frozen sangria in the carafe. That's the way to go, bump them up with about 3 of those and you'll have a good time.

Now I wouldn't go here for the food, but if you're going to have a good time and some good drinks it's the perfect place to go. We got the carafes of margarita mixed with sangria. Those went down easily and we got an order of wings for our starter. You don't think of ordering wings at a Mexican restaurant but they were really good. I got the Willie's special for my entree. The enchiladas were good but the steak that came with it was a little chewy. Our server seemed new so service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Definitely go for the margaritas!

    Picante, Bean Dip & Tostitos

Tostitos chips & Picante sauce w/ bean dip came out in little silver dishes.... We split an order of nachos served on a small side salad plate for $23 with an up charge of $22 for fajita beef. The ambiance was really nice but the presentation of the food and lack of transparency was disappointing.

In town for an appointment and texted a buddy for lunch recommendations. He recommended we go here, especially for the margaritas, lol! We ended up having 3 a piece! I browsed the menu online to figure out what might appeal to us and some of the items intrigued me being predominantly a Mexican style cuisine. Anyways, I ended up ordering a ribeye steak on our fantastic server, Kareem's recommendation! I kept it authentic by adding a side order of churro beans, lol. The complementary chips and salsa were delicious with probably the best salsa ever with the spiciness I love. It also came with a refried bean dip as well, which I would've enjoyed more if it came out warmer. The fried potatoes that came along with the steak were the perfect accompaniment to a perfectly grilled ribeye! Oh by the way, please order the "Ronnie Margarita"! The drink is named after one of their long time employee who's been there since the 60's. The vibe of the restaurant's ambiance is old school steakhouse with a Tex/Mex style tiling in our dining area. A must do when you're in Lafayette. Almost forgot, it was packed at lunch on a Tuesday with a big crowd at the bar.

Still the best margaritas ever! Don't go for the food. It's mediocre. But watch out for those margaritas!

We had chicken and sausage gumbo, Pepper Jack boudin balls, bam bam gator bites and the blackened chicken pasta. The waiter this time was better than the waitress we had last time. He was very attentive and made sure we never had to ask for refills. The appetizers came out fairly normal time-wise I would say. The main portion took a little bit longer than what you're used to at a franchise restaurant but here that's perfectly fine as it's worth the couple extra minutes. The gumbo is perfect(I love when gumbo is not over complicated) I like to add a lil hot sauce to it and it's delicious... only thing is, while they already give generous portions... the cup and the bowl looked exactly the same except I think in the bowl they give you one extra scoop of rice... which would be just fine if it wasn't like $6 more. But still delicious nonetheless. The bam bam gator bites were really good and I highly recommend them. If you like bam bam shrimp you'll love these. The pepper jack boudin balls were good, nothing special but they were definitely worth the try. My co-worker had the blackened chicken pasta and when I asked him how it was he said "dude, it's really good!" lol. The building is pretty unique and they have some outside seating with a massive beautiful tree that over looks the restaurant and takes claim to some of the asphalt in the parking lot lol. But it's a great spot for birthdays, good lunch menu deals, casual date night or if you wanna blow some steam off, they have a little bar in the restaurant as well. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend. I'm from East Texas, so I'm no Cajun/Louisianan but they truly got some good grub here. I'll definitely be coming back several more times when I get the chances. I will warn you, I believe the food is freshly made so when it gets to the table, give it some time to cool off because it comes out HOT.

Peyton and the remaining staff took great care of us - attentive / knowledgeable / friendly. The food (brunch options as well) was thoroughly enjoyed by all - from seafood to Italian to breakfast omelets - plus. Two surprises that we all took special note of however - the breakfast/brunch offered biscuit - & - the Pecan Seduction dessert - outrageously delicious. Cotton Candy kids treat to close out was a hit too. Remainder of restaurant and outdoor seating option (when open for use) all = very appealing. No hats for the men / boys - so please remove as required. Enjoy this spot !

My first impression is that the service, and the setting are amazing. The "Sensational" salad was really great, sensational? It's as though something is missing, but I'd have it again. The steak was second, maybe third to the best I've ever enjoyed. (I have had hundreds of fillets) The texture was probably second only to Omaha Prime, (which still stands out as the absolute best in every category). The asparagus was not amazing, but good enough to eat. It was green and edible, unlike most where I can't eat the low portions. Overall I'd come here again, probably done than later.

My wife and I did a before and after…read more We visited Sarrica's Little Italy before we traveled to Italy to sort of get in the mood. Our first visit was fantastic. Yes, it was crowded, but that's a healthy sign! In fact, we were lucky enough to find a parking space in the lot. From antipasto to dessert everything was top notch. So, we went to Italy and came back changed people. In fact, I started making my own pasta being inspired by what I experienced. There is a tremendous difference between fresh and shelf. We finally made it back to Sarrica's last Saturday, and I don't know how one could be more impressed, but they did it again! We got there early and immediately got a table. A half hour later the place was getting packed. We went straight to the Primo skipping the antipasto this time. Our food arrived quickly, and at first the portion looked smaller than before. But I was deceived! The dish was full! And delicious! And gone! I'm usually not known for cleaning my plate, but had we been in a darker corner I probably would be licking what's left! No, seriously, it's that good! This place would be popular in Sicily or Rome or Tuscany! You can tell someone in the kitchen is proud of what they're serving to be so consistent. There's no question we'll be returning - if we find a parking space!
