The community events hosted by Anyssa and Maddie are also a great way to mix and mingle with folks in the community. We've had food trucks, taco nights and even community night markets allowing entrepreneurs within the building to share their talents. Upon our initial application, we were notified that we needed to verify his ID, which we are unable to do, given the fact that we are in another state. I had asked if we could do the verification through a zoom call and was denied the request. We were told that since we were unable to do so and that our move in date was too far out, that we would need to reapply for a unit a little closer to the date, to which then the application was denied. Cool. To my luck, a unit opened up closer to our move in date a few days later. I applied again, only this time, knowing we wouldn't be able to verify my partner's ID in person, I decided I would apply for the unit by myself and add him onto the lease when we arrived. My report stated that it would take up to 10 days for approval. Given that this is a very time sensitive matter and we are slated to move in a week, I have called every single day from the time of the application, consistently leaving voicemails to get someone on a phone to speak with me, up to the 10th day for an update. Crickets. I've even gone as far as to send an email inquiring about other additional questions I had. Still nothing. I then receive an email on the 10th day from their Supervisor stating that just because I did not put my partners name in the 2nd application, it did not change their decision about the first one. I have been diligent in trying to reach out all throughout the 10 day application period and have not gotten a single phone call or email back. You would think that they'd be more helpful in finding solutions to accommodate a couple moving from a totally different state instead. In addition to this, I had reached out to ask for clarity about why I was getting denied for my second application and was unable to get an answer. Your lack of hospitality and customer service is distasteful. I would not recommend this place to anyone

The community was presented as a luxury, high-end property, so we felt comfortable paying the premium rent. The maintenance team was the best. Sweet Maria, Dario, and Orlando were always kind, professional, and quick to help whenever we needed assistance. For Nethania the assistant manager, I noticed a lot of growth in her professionalism. She had a warm, kind, and approachable demeanor. Alta does have nice modern touches and finishes, and our unit also had a nice spacious layout. The air quality in the area can also vary at times due to the nearby water treatment facility. When I first moved in I also had a few uncomfortable experiences with some residents in the gym, which at first made the community feel a little less welcoming. Our biggest concern was that Amenities were reduced or became unavailable during our lease, and things like the business center printer were occasionally out of service. A couple months into our lease When we addressed our concerns to management they stated that our rent didn't include the amenities. That didn't make much sense to us, since the amenities are part of what the property advertises and there isn't an option to pay less rent without them. It comes across as misleading. The high move-out charges also left an impression on us. For painting and cleaning after living there for less than 15 months, While I understand some cleaning was needed, the charges felt excessive. Overall, it wasn't a terrible place to live, largely because of the excellent maintenance staff, but for the amount of rent we paid, we would have appreciated clearer communication, better value, and a living experience that felt more consistent with the luxury image Alta advertises.

They didnt help me when my car got ran OVER in the parking garage, also our first three fridges broke immediately and they took half a year to fix our dishwasher smell. My unit (Apartment 132) has had severe water damage and ongoing mold concerns that have not been properly addressed. I had an independent mold inspection done, and the issue is serious. Instead of fixing the root problem, management repeatedly brought in industrial fans to dry the floors and walls, but the moisture returned almost immediately. Management also claimed a vendor tested for mold and found nothing, but when I requested documentation, I was told they were not required to provide it. They entered my unit without permission after I explicitly told them not to until my inspection was completed. There were multiple serious breaches of privacy. At one point, they gave a vendor access to my apartment without any notice. I woke up and came downstairs to find a stranger inside my unit while I was completely naked. It was an extremely violating and unacceptable situation. To make matters worse, they refused my rent payments and, after I moved out, did not give me a proper opportunity to retrieve the rest of my belongings. I lived here for 15 months under previous management a woman named LaShaun who ran the property for years with zero issues. Everything changed with the new management. Based on my experience, I strongly caution anyone considering living here especially in this unit. Ask for documentation on the mold etc!!!! BE WARE!!!!
