Shush, it's a library Very quiet climate controlled area. It was great to take a break from the Hussle of being out in public

This is a beautiful library. I have been here several times. I have always had room to park my car. I have no kids so I don't have a review of their programs for kids. I have read here, checked out dvd's from their extensive collection, and did work on my computer in their quiet room. I recommend the dvd isles they have a lot of movies and some are modern. The quiet room is great for studying and writing. It has outlets for plugging in laptops and charging phones. They have study/reading niches on the sides of the library. They also have a great collection of audio books. My experience with the staff is that they are professional, polite and respectful. They let me use my driver's license when I forgot my library card. They let me borrow a pen when mine went dry. When I was late returning the dvd's were tasteful in delivering the news of my 25 cent a day fine. My dealings with staff only lasted a minute or two but it was only appropriate behavior. The patrons at this library appear to mostly be mature people but that was only the times that I was there and their were no kids programs occuring.

This is a beautiful library! Although we originally came here to see the little used bookstore, we decided to stop by the library right afterwards. The library has a cute kids' section, lots of computers, plenty of good seating, and even an enclosed area for quiet studying. Although I didn't find the librarians to be especially friendly, I thought this little library had everything one would need for doing some research/homework or relaxed reading. I really like how this library has a nice bookstore, and I love the little courtyard area out in front of the library. This library is both pretty and convenient!

They have self checkout stations but I'm old school and like to engage with the staff upon checkout. The computers truly need some deep cleaning. Most heartening, a bin is dedicated to worn American flags (located to the right of the fireplace room). Other donation containers may sometimes include Marine donations and gently used purses. This library proudly displays local artists' artwork and changes it up from local schools. Most of the library books are in great shape and you can sometimes find multiple copies. Restrooms are located to the right immediately upon entering the library's automatic sliding glass doors; there are also restrooms near the adult non-fiction area. A little concerned that the parking lot is not clearly lit upon your exit of the library, if leaving after sunset.

They have clean bathrooms and friendly staff. I'd come back.

Once you enter the building you must go upstairs (or take an elevator) to get to the library (otherwise you end up inside the school). This library is one of the smaller branches I've been to and the layout was initially a bit confusing to me. But I soon found the adult non-fiction section and located the specific book I was after. I didn't spot any self-checkout stations so went to the front desk where a pleasant gentleman took care of things and sent me on my way. I'm rarely in this area so doubtful I'll be back and instead will take care of the book's return via the OC Library's sytem where one can return a book to any branch and it will be transported to the correct location.

There's plenty of parking in the lot on a weekend morning. I walked in here looking lost and the librarian at the circulation desk immediately clocked it. She helped me find the self print area. The cost to print is 0.15 per page. Printing was quick. I forgot my PIN for my library card but I was able to update it quickly so I could add funds to pay for the label I was printing. The stairs had some rubbish probably from the students who come through here. The library is a little small but I didn't spend too much time to get to peruse all their selections.

When researching what to do in town, the library kept popping up, mostly because of its architecture, and I'm so glad I made it a point to walk over to the library located on the edge of town. Yes, the building is absolutely stunning and incredibly unique... but what truly made the experience extra special for me were the librarians. They were so genuinely kind and welcoming and I very proudly added an Orange County Library card to my growing collection (a personal joy, honestly). It was the perfect place to wander aimlessly amongst the stacks of books, charge my devices, sit and relax, and browse through their national park books. The Friends of the San Juan Capistrano Library Bookstore was also open and had a great selection that made it very hard to leave empty handed. What it does not have is tables to sit down and read. It is a place you can go to pick up a dvd, use a computer with internet, request a book that may take a couple of days, and return a book. The people who come here appear to be seniors. I believe the place is for seniors to use the internet and request a book.
