I called after waiting 20 minutes for her to smugly say she wasn't going to be able to make it after all. And this after she insisted on that time because she was a "busy person". In every phone conversation she repetitively stated her agent fee was 3%, as if I was going to forget her cut. I may not be in the market for the 5 mil house but that lack of professionalism and snobby attitude is unexpected, especially in this market.

They are responsive and informative when you need their help. But when you feel that you need to cool down and think again for a decision, they would never push you. In terms of financial value, two offers we submitted lowered the price much easier because they do not need to pay the typical 2.5-3%. In an area that average housing pricing is more than 1 million, it is really helpful. In the end, we got a house we love and with a much lower price than many may have speculated. Another great aspect is that we forgot to mention to our lender about commission rebate and cannot get that rebate directly from the escrow company. ShopProp wired the rebate to our account promptly. It is a very trustworthy company to work with.

You get a real agent who works with you throughout the process, doing all the paperwork and…read morenecessary things you don't know about to complete the sale. The rebate is real. You get a huge proportion of the buyers commission back that goes directly to your closing costs.
