Servers super nice very attentive. I think I may have order the wrong food The lobster ramen noddles for 35 dollars had a huge lobster shell, if I got a few pieces was a lot. Grilled oysters, those are full of brown matter, not good at all. Filet tenderloins, $12 overcooked steak and very small tapas. Drinks are so so. The noodles had good flavor don't get me wrong. I do believe I choose the wrong menu items today.

Back a second time to this very Vietnamese street food style place to try a few different dishes! Lemon grass steamed clams in a fragrant broth that you have to drink up! I wanted to take an order of Thai style steamed clams home and the very accommodating waitress warned that it was very spicy. The owner came to check on us and was gracious enough to provide a sample little bowl of the broth! I am on team spice and thought it was delicious. Took an order home! Love this little place for great food, stellar service and humble, unassuming ambience. They are only open for lunch from 11 am on weekends. Weekdays they open at 4pm. Pay them a visit!

Fireeee! My friend from out of town invited me to Lai Rai and we just allowed the waitress to order for us. She sent us a little bit of everything; oysters, two types of garlic escargot, bone marroe and the most perfect chicken wings, beef with vegetables etc. everything was perfect. They are authentic Vietnamese with lots of seafood and street food. I ordered a Vietnamese beer that paired well with the meal. You sit in low colorful stools, and the place was packed but they were able to accommodate everyone. By the end of the night, they brought out desserts from the Vietnamese bakery next door and allowed us to take some home on the house, what a thoughtful thing to do. I'm coming back soon to bring my daughter and I'm so excited.

The restaurant is small but very cozy. Our server, Gloria, did an amazing job explaining the dishes and answering our questions. She offered great recommendations, from the different escargot options to the main courses. We ended up choosing the lobster with ramen, which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I loved it!

Fantastic Vietnamese tapas restaurant. The restaurant is small inside, but there are tables outside. The Crab Fried Rice was the best I have ever had. The Thai-Style Steamed Clams were also outstanding. Everything I ordered was great. The waiter was very nice and the service was great.

If you are in the Davie, Hollywood, Miami area and want to "nhậu"- a Vietnamese term for eating, drinking and socializing with friends; this is the best place for it. The decor and furniture of plastic tables and stools outside give an authentic back in Vietnam outdoor restaurant. They have traditional Vietnamese appetizer items like Balut, quail, skewers, and escargot in different sauces but get the buttermilk one!!

Came here with my partner many times before when it was still Mama Tofu, I'm glad that its still a vietnamese street food place (we really miss the bun rieu noodle dish though )! Small restaurant but still plenty of seating and is cozy inside. Our server was very helpful and gave suggestions on their new specials. The food was AMAZING, had so much flavor, only a vietnamese street food place has these kinds of dishes, you cant get this in any regular pho place. Will definitely be coming back and trying more stuff.

Food is very fresh, well put together as it looks very appealing. They have traditional street Vietnam food so it was different to me but some dishes were delicious! Service was OUTSTANDING! Owners are extremely nice and welcoming. Ambiance is also nice and welcoming. I'd definitely go back

While they are very authentic Vietnamese food, it's not the pho and Bahn mis. Think seafood dishes and dishes good with drinking, like escargot, skewers, and heavier noodle dishes. They're trying to sell this spot as a drinking place though and for that I wish there were more alcohol options. TLDR: I will make the trek up from Miami for this restaurant 100% WHAT WE HAD crispy tofu with lemongrass chilis $12 - SO crispy. Aromatics were strong. Grilled oyster with scallion and sauce $12 - these are some thick/juicy oysters chicken gizzard skewer $7 - chewy, probably wouldn't get again Prawn skewers $10 - sweet, would get again. Loved the roasted flavor Lobster ramen $35 - the most worth thing we got since the lobster was pretty meaty for the price. Very heavy dish though given the (appropriate haha) amount of butter and garlic. Winter melon tea with basil seeds $7

I can't complain about anything at La Rai. The service from Rav and everyoni was excellent and the food was even better. I had all the following and there was no complaints!Escargot in Coconut Sauce Crispy Fish Sauce Wings Filet Mignon Skewer Chicken Skewer Grilled Oysters w/Scallion Fish Sauce Along with the food the Kumquat Tea was a very refreshing drink. It's definitely worth a visit & I look forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Haven't wrote reviews so I apologize Lai Rai Till I die What a great addition to the city of Davie Came during soft opening the first time and it was like maybe It was until the second shot that it hit the spot Ask for everything spicy and it's hot hot hot It tastes so much better and my spice tolerance is low But if you go here it's the way to go So without further to do 1 2 3 dzo I have came back here time and time again with respects to the pho bar owner He knows what he's doing as he got my taste buds on a controller I

1..2..3.. Dzo!!! It means cheers! That's how they do it Vietnamese style! lai rai, is a street food concept where you hangout & make memories with your buddies to enjoy mini tapas, snack, and drinks! Service was great! Very fast , and food came out fast. we came a the day after grand opening and we were able to get seats right away. top street food items were the steamed clams, tamarind snails, grilled skewers, mango salad, and the balut. Great for sharing and affordable pricing. Flavor was great for each item. can't go wrong with lychee soju and a beer tower!! What a nice way to enjoy your weekend!

The food was incredible! Great finds for Vietnamese street food! Still sad that they changed the menu and the entire store from Mama Tofu because I loved the hot noodle soups in the past!!! What I wanted to call out it the incredible service! The server went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! Nice ambient sitting outside and eat just like in Vietnam!

She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out quickly, and as always, it was absolutely delicious. This time, I ordered the Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm, and it was amazing. The tofu was perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside while staying silky smooth on the inside. The portion is meant for two people, but it was so good I could have finished the entire platter by myself. Every bite was delicious. What impressed me the most was the level of customer service. I noticed a gentleman, who I believe was the manager, personally greeting guests at the door and shaking hands with customers he knew. He paid attention to every detail. Before my son had even put his empty water cup back on the table, he was already there refilling it. That level of attentiveness is rare and speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their guests. You can tell this restaurant focuses not only on serving great food but also on creating an outstanding dining experience. The place is really clean. That combination is what keeps us coming back. Whenever we're in Florida, Pho Bar Vietnamese Kitchen will always be worth the drive. Highly recommend!

What bothered me was not simply poor customer service it was the very noticeable difference between how I was treated and how other patrons who did not look like me were treated. When I arrived, I was seated, handed a menu, and essentially left alone. There was no warm greeting, no smile, and the interaction felt very dismissive. I sat for some time and eventually had to wave my server down to get his attention. Meanwhile, I watched other guests( ones that don't look like me) who arrived after me receive warm greetings and almost immediate attention from the server. The difference continued when the food was served. The lady who brought my food simply placed it on the table and walked away without saying anything. Yet I watched that same person serve several other tables afterward with smiles, conversation, informing them of what they received and ask questions about whether they needed anything. After experiencing this repeatedly, I asked one of the employees if he was the manager. Only then did the level of attention toward me noticeably change. Suddenly, I was being checked on several times and asked whether everything was okay . I want to be clear that there were positive exceptions. My first visit here was completely different because I had a very nice young man who provided good service. Also, the gentleman in the red shirt who assisted me when I was paying tonight was incredibly polite, and genuinely kind. His interaction with me stood out because it felt sincere. I understand that not every server is going to be overly friendly, and I normally would not write a review because someone did not smile at me. What made this experience uncomfortable was watching, over and over again, the same employees interact warmly and attentively with patrons of a lighter complexion while being noticeably colder and more dismissive toward me. I couldn't even finish my meal I had the rest of it to go. I cannot speak to anyone's intentions, but I can speak to what I personally experienced and observed. The difference in treatment was blatant enough that it made me feel as though I was not the type of customer this establishment wanted there. I always thought the one color a business should care about is green. Unfortunately, tonight I left feeling like another color mattered more. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures that every person who walks through the door , regardless of their complexion or hue is welcomed, acknowledged, and treated with the same level of courtesy and respect. For the food, the egg roll was good. And the soup was flavorful but I will be seeking another Pho place to patronize.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it's in a plaza so the parking lot was full. They had one group sitting and eating and then just me. I had planned on dropping one off to someone. I received my order all bagged together, ok no problem but I asked for an extra hoisin sauce for both orders. Everyone seemed to have the same idea, since the restaurant was 80% full on a late Saturday afternoon. There is a counter immediately on the left when you walk in, mainly for to-go and delivery order pickups, which happen pretty often if you're sitting and seeing in the restaurant. The walls are decorated with traditional Vietnamese paintings and the tables have the heaviest ornate wooden chairs I've ever pulled out, but both the tables and chairs feel stable to sit at no matter where you sit. The menus are typically already sitting at the table so you can start looking and be ready to order within minutes, which is how quickly you can get a drink order and/or water served. You order your choice of pho by number, as one does in a legitimate pho restaurant, and the pho toppings come out again within minutes of your ordering. The appetizers and pho come out so quickly and fresh, you forget you had ordered. The rocket shrimp rolls are a great snack appetizer to have while you wait for your pho to come out (which isn't that much time). I've had them 3 times and they arrive hot, fresh, wrapped in crispy wonton on the outside and with plump well seasoned shrimp on the inside. They come with a sweet vinegary soy dipping sauce. The pho broth is rich in taste and never over salted. It comes out hot cooking the brisket and steak that was just added to it before serving (along with tripe in my case---I got #30 during my last visit). I love adding all of the toppings and having them cook and soften as I make my way through the bowl contents. The bean sprouts, Thai basil and culantro are always fresh (which is hard to keep that way for long, from experience). The pho bowls start at $13 for regular and go to $16 for a large size, then to $19 for an XL size. If you're real hungry like I usually am, the large size is a sweet spot. Dump some chili oil and/or sambal from the table into your bowl, munch on softened jalapenos and savor the heat in temperature and your taste buds. There's no better comforting way to spend a rainy or cold day!
