Food here is decent. Staff is very nice and the restaurant is clean. They have a large menu to choose from.

Not only is the food here very good the service is top notch. I decided to try when a menu was sent…read morein the mail cause I've tried everything else in the neighborhood and it just wasn't good. 1st time trying I was blown away by the customer service. I asked about their flavored lemonades and was offered a sample of the blueberry, strawberry, and peach flavors. They are all tasty but the peach is BOMB. Second time calling in for pick up the lady was very noce over the phone and confirmed the address. Then then called back to let me know the food was ready. Things I can confirm are good: General Tso Chicken and Broccoli Sesame Chicken Fried Rice

(if ya know it sing with me) - "now I want that old thang back to make these moments once again…read moreperfeeeect" Egg rolls. Im talking about egg rolls with that 1993 flavor profile (you are old if you sang along) I'm full. lol. I saw the reviews and felt tempted to try it. So glad I did. The egg roll had flavor - no grease! Balanced amount of veggies and meat inside. Arrived (ordered delivery) crispy and hot. This is rare these days. At most spots they are flavorless and greasy with a bunch of cabbage so its worthy of note - NOT HERE. We got the Dragon & Phoenix (general tso chicken and chili garlic shrimp) - yummy! Deveined medium size shrimp and an abundance of chicken. Only criticism is there wasn't a bit of spice. Im a girl who can appreciate a tickle (from spice) The mister got the beef in black bean sauce combo (w. fried rice and egg roll). Yes, I fought him for the egg roll. The beef was flavorful! You got the savory earthy notes from black bean sauce that you normally only get in restaurants at the carry out. Im getting that one next time. Plenty of fried rice (tho it only comes with egg and onion - no peas and carrots) to share. May be my new carry out spot. Check it out. Back to my kitchen concert.

I drive past China Cafe every. single day. Just haven't been here in almost 2 years because of the…read moreservice. However, they're one of the few carry outs in the area whose prices are still fairly reasonable so that's what prompted my visit on this "Friday Eve" 2/12/26. Two stars for the service. I will never understand why so many (NOT ALL) carryout owners are so snarky, short tempered, non-emotional, cold, rude ... pick an adjective. They clearly articulate it's all about the money. Sadly, it was the same lady, oozing the same negativity. *Sigh* Usually four stars for their food ... just not this time because I ordered pepper steak with NO onions but got a dish full of them anyways. If you are remotely familiar with my reviews you already know I ordered dumplings and wonton soup. Thankfully, I have NO complaints about either one of those. One star for the ambiance butttt it IS just a lil roadside carryout so I never expect much. Despite the owner's personality flaws ... I'll probably return. Just like the owners ... it's all about the money for me too. In my case, the desire to spend less of it. Looking forward to hearing YOUR opinion.

I LOVE their steak and cheese egg roll but damnnnn $5 is a lot. I still like their hot and sour soup. The general tso's is my partner's go-to, but it's a solid 3, at best. Occasionally, we will order it and it will be like a 4.5 because they've got somebody in the kitchen who really cares, but for the most part it's just fine. I get the shrimp with lobster sauce a lot because it's one of my favorites and I like the way the flavor mixes with the rice. Their fried rice, as a whole, is not that good. They have a few tables set up inside, I rarely see people eating there, but it's a nice place to wait. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my order to be ready, which I greatly appreciate. There is parking right in front and on the side. Evenings and weekends, the front parking can be a little crazy because of the neighboring businesses, but it's still not a huge issue. Honestly, what I appreciate most about this location is the service and the drink offerings. This is definitely the best service I've had at a carryout in this area.
