    Korean Fried Chicken

My daughter was in the mood for Korean BBQ and I'm so glad we visited this restaurant. We had a great experience. The waiter, Eric, was amazing, helpful, and attentive. He even helped my daughter get her favorite K-pop music video played on the tv. The table limit is 90 minutes and we were able to order more than enough food while there. We tried the Korean fried chicken, K-ramen, beef bulgogi, Firepan steak, and thick pork belly. The waiter was very helpful with cooking the food to the right temperature. The beef bulgogi is always a favorite of mine but everything else was good too. The restaurant was decorated nicely, the music was the best of both worlds for me--there was R&B on the stereo and K-Pop videos on the TV. It was also located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The price point wasn't bad either. I would absolutely return. P.S. Did I forget to mention that little robot waiters bring out food to you too?

This appears to be a chain in the DMV area. I love Korean bbq and was excited to visit some of my daughters new area eateries. Service was top notch!!! And all of the food was delicious. We ordered Option B to get a few sushi rolls. Spicy Bulgogi Roll was good, but not spicy. Shrimp Tempura Roll was delicious! Loved the salad in a light ginger dressing, not clumpy like some can be. 3 sauces offered, and all three delicious, but especially the goguchang. Thin sliced brisket was my favorite, very flavorful! Their darken varieties were delicious. Solid Korean BBQ spot!!

Love kbbq and first time at this location. Very modern design, super spacious, fast service and friendly servers. The bar is a great fixture and the bartenders seemed very knowledgeable. Many kbbq spots don't have adequate waiting space for many patrons, this one had that and more. Was able to order a drink while waiting on the table. Food was also delicious, I just wish the chain still sold galbi. Great for family / group meals or HH with friends

Really good service, nice people and atmosphere. The food is so delicious and fresh. They were apologetic for the short wait. Even gave me some extra rice to make up for it.

Korean BBQ hasn't been a fave of mine but lately the Big Spoon and I have been to a few. Firepan has sushi so that was a plus. The concept is super cool with little robots that come out with your food. We did wait for about 5 minutes before we were acknowledged but seated immediately after, literally no one was at the host stand. We just patiently waited. They were also out of one of their specialty drinks they were promoting. We had stayed up there that long that the promo stand was one we read, too bad we couldn't take advantage! Other than those two misses the visit was great! It made sense to get option C which was only $33.99. Let's Get Into It! All the proteins we got were okay! Not the best. We needed salt for them, even when they came seasoned. Comparing the grade of meat to other Korean BBQ the quality was less than we expected. The sushi was decent and met expectations. Overall, for $35 can you really complain? I'd come back, that is for sure!

This new-ish Waldorf restaurant is one of (if not the best) the best places in Charles County, especially if you like spicy foods. I've eaten here twice and wasn't disappointed either time. The receipt in the photo is on our 2nd time here, a party of 4. All 4 entrees were DELISH. Three of us took home leftovers. If you do not want leftovers, don't eat a lot of the salad upfront is my advice. But the salad and little dishes of stuff is to good to pass up, so I wouldn't bet on that approach working. Ha-Ha Yep, plan on spending at least $25 per person. It cost us about that on our 1st meal here also.

EVERYTHING! If that could be the review, it would! AC was my server and she was everythinggggg. I loved all of her knowledge, explanation of the experience, and alll of her recommendations were A1! Food is amazing, ambiance amazing, service amazing! Also left a compliment with the manager before leaving

Really this is a 4.5 review and the .5 deduction is for the ramen. The flavor was very lacking and actually tasted like a cheap packet from the supermarket. For some reason we didn't get to have the service from the robot but our server was great and the restaurant is actually huge and very inviting. Can't wait to go back

We're glad that there's a decent Korean barbecue only 20min from us instead of driving all the way to Virginia. Our server was really good -- he helped us cook everything well and was very attentive. The location is huge-- lots of seating, ambient lighting, with some robot servers roaming around. We didn't get orders from it because our server was attentive but we had fun watching people dodge them as they moved around. Pork belly was really good. Didn't really like the chicken or bulgogi -- they weren't seasoned very well. Overall the seasoning wasn't great and I wasn't into the sauces... But I thought their sides were good. Steamed egg-- half portion would be better. It was quite large and it was ok. Surprisingly (mostly because I'm very picky), I really enjoyed the sushi rolls. I am such a picky person and while I thought the California roll was okay, the tempura roll was really good. There's some with beef as well-- no raw seafood rolls. The ramen texture and broth was good, too! Very surprised that they didn't have any dessert options at all. Wanted something sweet but they literally had nothing ... But we saw a cheesecake on a robot getting delivered?? Maybe only for birthdays? This place hit the spot for me but my husband wasn't a big fan of the bulgogi or chicken. I'd come back.

While waiting for my order, I noticed the staff (who seemed pretty young, not saying that negatively, just observationally) loudly talking about not getting tips. Loud enough for the whole place to hear. That was my first sign that the atmosphere might be off. When my order was ready, they didn't call out the item or confirm anything, they just said my name, tossed the tied-up bag on the counter, and walked away. I watched them call other orders properly with names and items, so the contrast stood out. Regardless of how good food may be, customer experience matters. I didn't ask for a manager because I've worked in management before, and I know staff behavior often reflects internal leadership and environment. Still, it's something worth noting: even for quick-service or takeout spots, courtesy and professionalism go a long way. This interaction felt dismissive and honestly off-putting. I'm not writing this to be harsh, just to be honest. This is why I prefer to tip in casHopefully it's something the team can improve on, because small interactions shape the whole experience.

The restaurant manager Q was nice and attentive as well. For me the food lacked flavor and the fried beef was like eatting beef Jerry. We had some children with us who dont eat with chop sticks and getting regular utensils seemed difficult. Our server filled our waters in the beginning but that was it, after that finding her for anything was not happening. Finally, they attached a automatic gratuity which i have an issue with, I am a great tipper but if service sucks then it should be my decision on how much to tip.

It's an all-you-can-eat experience where the food is brought to your table and you cook it yourself. The service was the highlight of our visit. Our server was wonderful, the hostess was welcoming and full of personality, and another staff member even stopped by to make sure we were being helped. That level of attentiveness is rare and appreciated. We ordered quite a variety, including squid, shredded chicken, shredded beef, shrimp, rolled beef, top steak, and several sushi selections. Most of the food was good, and everything arrived promptly. The sushi was decent, though not quite as fresh as I expected. I was also surprised that the top steak came as small cubes rather than a steak portion. The biggest disappointment was the no take-home policy. As first-time visitors, we didn't realize how much food would come with some of our orders and ended up leaving a significant amount behind. It's frustrating to see good food go to waste after you've already paid for the meal. The restaurant itself could use some updating. Several booth seats were worn and cracked, with foam showing through the upholstery. At $32-$37 per person, the dining area should feel a little more refreshed. For drinks, I had the Lychee Martini, which was weaker than expected, and my husband tried one of the Ocean cocktails and thought it was just average. He ended up ordering his usual tequila shot and a beer afterward. The drinks weren't bad, but they didn't live up to the rave reviews we had read beforehand. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, especially because of the excellent service and unique dining concept. With a few updates and some reconsideration of the leftover food policy, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

Even when the restaurant is empty you will still not receive service. You will watch your waiter pacing back and forth on their phone longer than you will spend drinking your water/soda. I used to come here once a week but the service has deterred me so much that at most I come once a month and each time I come it's getting worse and worse. I've had to pull the manager up on shift one time to ask for a simple refill because my waiter was too busy on the phone.
